Markov","doi":"10.14258/FILICHEL(2021)2-14","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.14258/FILICHEL(2021)2-14","url":null,"abstract":"Leading Austrian artists of the first quarter of the 20th century, Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele, did not attract the Russian writers attention until the 1990s, when the development of Russian postmodern literature was conductive to the attention to their experiments, polystylistics, cultural symbolism and aestheticism. It is stressed that although the heritage of these artists was adapted to the aesthetic project of Russian postmodernism, poetic statements about them revealed aspects of art that are not obvious to the common viewer. First of all, in the Russian poetry of the 1990s and the early 2000s (Alexander Ulanov, Alexander Skidan, Irina Mashinsky, Polina Barskova, Elena Fanailova) it was convincingly shown that Schiele’s expressionism directly takes it start from the symbolism of Klimt, and Klimt’s aesthetics already contains Schiele’s one, but Schiele’s manner retains the achievements of Klimt. Further, the author shows a connection between these artists and the achievements of physics along with the cultural and political atmosphere of the time. Finally, it was reported that the achievements of these artists opposed Nazism because Klimt and Schiele demonstrated the inadmissibility of any form of oppression. Regardless of the private thoughts or the works of Klimt and Schiele, these ideas are conveyed by the very form of their works and the approach to style: the semanticization of the material and the ability to give life to the depicted characters. During the fight against the spread of the coronavirus, doctors acquired the status of heroes. The heroic image of a doctor who is at the forefront of the fight against a new threat is fully expressed in various discursive and non-discursive constructs: mass media discourse, creolized texts, photo and video materials, comments from users of the Internet services, etc. The headlines of publications, the names of projects, competitions, and actions indicate the heroization of doctors. The process of heroization is also implemented in creolized texts of social advertising. The main linguistic means of heroization is metaphorization: the doctor is represented as a soldier in war, a superhero, a guardian angel. So, in the studied texts, the fight against the coronavirus is metaphorically represented as a war, medical personnel – as soldiers fighting with weapons in their hands against a terrible enemy – the virus, the walls of a medical institution – as a battlefield. Based on the empirical material, the following communicative and pragmatic characteristics of Internet comments are identified: interactivity, creativity, authenticity, emotional intensity, brevity. {"title":"Some Peculiarities of Reduplication as a Musical Device of James Joyce in «Finnegans Wake» and its Translatability","authors":"E. The reduplication in the novel is found to be multifaceted and multifunctional. Not only does it strengthen an emotional component, but also creates tone-painting, thus being an inherent part of the author’s word play. A detailed classification of the randomly selected occasional lexical units formed by reduplication is suggested. Among the partial reduplication, divergent modifications are found to dominate. The research concerned the possibilities of translating the revealed occasional words into Russian (A. Rene, A. Volokhonskii versions), German (D. Stündel version) and Spanish (M. Zabaloi). Various translation strategies are considered. Based on the semantic components contained in the definitions and/or the contextual field of the neologisms at hand, a conclusion was drawn on the ever-growing role of cinematography in a personal life of a 21st century person, its ubiquity in daily life both in the form of a moving image and in other incarnations. The neologisms under consideration indicate that viewers analyze TV content, discuss it, engage in productive activity while watching a movie, visit filming locations, and see images of famous characters in their natural habitat. A certain range of neologisms in English cinematic discourse speaks of the tendency of a significant number of modern film recipients to popularize negative characters, to justify their immoral acts. This image takes a special place in the mythology of all peoples and in ancient sacred beliefs. Due to the fact that after the adoption of Christianity / Islam among the peoples, all the once sacred, pagan deities – the keepers of rivers and lakes, mountains and natural boundaries, forests and fields, as well as the ones connected with home, were endowed with a negative characteristic and began to be represented as an evil spirit. Such a fate was waiting for, for example, the traditional hero Baba Yaga – Yashchura, raised to the rank of a positive character, deified by the canon of the ancient Slavs, she was the keeper of the clan, its traditions and customs. Accordingly, after the adoption of Christianity, Yashchura took on that negative, pernicious character known to us from Slavic folk tales and folkloric accounts. As E.V. Various existing forms of pilgrimage, as an integral part of many religions, continue to arouse the interest of both researchers and writers. The plot of the pilgrimage to the local sites in the trilogy of F. Galimov and the book of L.-A. Yakshibayeva has parallels with the religious traditions of the Muslims of Central Asia, where Sufism was one of the forms of Islam. The plot-forming element of the Hajj pilgrimage is the real geographical places of the sacred land that form the sacred space and connect the mortal world with the eternal in the minds of believers. The carefully thought-out integral composition of the story by T. Dayanova, and the novel by L.-A. Despite the fact that the title of the story contains the word “conversations”, there is no truly dialogical relations between the characters. The characters of the story, in fact, speak different languages. They need an interpreter, since they themselves do not understand interlocutor's speech well. The emergence of a language barrier between compatriots is natural. This is a consequence of the story’s character loss of identity: national, social and even gender. The writer focuses on the features of “non-Russianness” in the appearance, speeches, mentality of the main character - old man Baev. The process of losing national identity goes so far for Baev that he even puts forward an absurd hypothesis about his American origin. The interlocutor of Baev, Marya Selezneva, generally loses not only social, but also gender identity. The artistic world of the story “Conversations under a Clear Moon” is largely simulative. It is so illusory that the characters in the story cannot distinguish day from night, the moon from the sun. The author of the article describes the actualization of the heading and the character's characteristics by taking into account the artistic psychologism. The frequency of repetition of the heading close to the end of the text is one of the individual style features of the writer's linguopoetics (\"The Flight\", \"The Bombay\", \"The Iron Lord\", etc.). There is a comparison between the vocabulary and text fields of the heading associative stimulus presented in the article. The psychological autobiography of the story hero is depicted by the textual interaction of the components of the heading. The black color corresponds to the refugee implication, suicide and uniqueness of the main character. The image of swans denotes Pavlov's longing for freedom, for the search of illusions as an attempt to get rid of courageous loneliness, as well as his desire to unravel the existential mystery.
