Therefore, of great importance is continuous epizootological monitoring of the dynamics of the appearance and spread of infectious animal diseases and the analysis of the risks of introducing pathogens of particularly dangerous animal diseases into the territory of Ukraine. Diseases of prion etiology are currently the most dangerous for human health. In view of this, the main attention during the fight against prion diseases is paid to preventive measures, in particular the ban on the use of meat-and-bone or bone meal made from sheep that died and were sick with scrapie in livestock feed, as well as the slaughter of prion-infected ruminants. \u0000Since 2017, Ukraine has been implementing the Program for determining the status of Ukraine as a country with a controlled risk of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE), approved by the Order of the State Production and Consumer Service № 258 dated April 14, 2017. One of the basic elements of the program is the monitoring of feeds. In accordance with the Plan for State Monitoring of Fodder for Ruminant Animals in 2023, research was conducted on 120 samples of fodder from different regions of Ukraine. In accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) № 51/2013 and Commission Regulation № 1560/2020, the determination of ingredients of animal origin in feed is carried out using a combination of light microscopy and real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR-RT). The presence of components of animal origin (meat and bone, bone, meat meal, etc.) was not detected during the examination of fodder by light microscopy. When examining feed by the PCR method, the presence of ruminant DNA was detected in only two samples. When examining feed by the PCR method, the presence of ruminant DNA was detected in two samples. However, when reviewing the accompanying documents, it was established that the manufacturer declared the introduction of dry milk into the feed. By the EU Regulation and Instruction № 180 dated 04.09.2008, approved by the order of the State Veterinary Medicine Committee of Ukraine, ruminants are allowed to feed such fodder.","PeriodicalId":21617,"journal":{"name":"Scientific and Technical Bulletin оf State Scientific Research Control Institute of Veterinary Medical Products and Fodder Additives аnd Institute of Animal Biology","volume":"19 11","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2024-05-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"140967304","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For the profitable conduct of the rabbit breeding except general principles of maintenance and growing, it is expedient to take into account the pedigree features of rabbits. Most distribution for the rabbit breeders of our country meat and hide of breed got: grey and white giants, butterfly, silvery, less popularity is used by the meat breeds of rabbits: New Zealand white and Californian. Main advantage of the rabbit breeding are an economy of areas and absence of capital apartments for growing of population of rabbits, in the modern rabbit breeding the systems of maintenance of rabbits are used in cages – outside, with the partial or complete process of mechanization: feeding and give to drink, moving away of wastes. At cellular maintenance of rabbits the most rational organization of works is provided on a supervision and reproduction. Cellular maintenance of rabbits gives an opportunity to carry out and control all processes and effectively to conduct veterinary and prophylactic measures. The table of contents of rabbits in cages provides a receipt from them of high-quality selfish products and carcass of kind fattened. For growing of different breeds of rabbits optimal economic indicators are the breeding of 30 female rabbits and more, at such population recoupment presents three years. The efficiency of management and high profitability of organic rabbit farms is ensured thanks to small capital investments in equipment and cages, early maturity and multi-fertility of rabbits, intensive growth of rabbits and rapid change of generations, obtaining products of high quality and quantity in a short time. The use of modern improved cage systems, high-quality feed and balanced rations for sexual age groups of rabbits allows to optimize the operating costs of the rabbit farm, and properly adjusted logistics of rabbit breeding products ensures constant profit at optimal profitability.","PeriodicalId":21617,"journal":{"name":"Scientific and Technical Bulletin оf State Scientific Research Control Institute of Veterinary Medical Products and Fodder Additives аnd Institute of Animal Biology","volume":"611 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139203881","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Studies of dog cognition and behavior are recent and have proliferated since the early twenty-first century, when these animals began to be considered \"true companions\" worthy of study as pets adapted to life in an urbanized environment rather than mere human accessories. Life during a full-scale war, this life is full of stresses, which are primarily constant irritants, namely explosions and sirens. This has a negative impact on the psycho-emotional state of not only people, but also companion animals who may experience post-traumatic stress disorder. Taking into account the relevance of this issue, the article presents a literature review of scientific works related to the topic of post-traumatic stress disorder in dogs against the background of stress due to military operations, namely, the formed etiological hypothesis of the development of the pathology, its prognosis, the clinical features of the manifestations are highlighted in detail. Driving predictors and contributing factors stimulating post-traumatic syndrome have been established. Taking into account the experience of foreign and domestic scientists, a list of drugs that should be used not only for treatment, but also for prevention has been defined. It has been proven that post-traumatic stress disorder often arises as a result of mental destabilization under wartime conditions and can happen to almost every person directly or indirectly involved in the war.","PeriodicalId":21617,"journal":{"name":"Scientific and Technical Bulletin оf State Scientific Research Control Institute of Veterinary Medical Products and Fodder Additives аnd Institute of Animal Biology","volume":"60 2","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139205936","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This products cannot be authorized without establishing this important parameter. There are a number of veterinary medicinal products on the market of Ukraine and EU member states, which have the same active substance in the same concentration and pharmaceutical formulation, but the withdrawal period can differ significantly. The goal of our study was to determine the influence of various factors on the withdrawal period of amoxicillin from single-component oral (powders) and injectable (suspensions, long acting suspensions) dosage forms, which are included in the State Register of Veterinary Medicines of Ukraine and EU product database (UPD). As is known, amoxicillin is widely used for the treatment of infectious diseases in humans and animals, in particular food-producing ones, which are a source of food products intended for human consumption. From the point of the hazard of development acquired antimicrobial resistance when consuming products of animal origin contaminated with residues, the duration of the established withdrawal period is a question of great importance. As shown in the study results, the pharmacokinetic parameters of veterinary medicinal products, in particular bioavailability, as well as clinical characteristics of the disease, have a significant impact on the duration of the withdrawal period. Usually, the withdrawal period depends on the type of dosage form, and the amount and nature of excipients, because oral and injectable pharmaceutical formulations of the same veterinary medicinal product differ in terms of bioavailability from the systemic circulation and the site of injection. It was also defined that the duration of the withdrawal period depends on the amount of the administered dose of the veterinary medicinal product, the treatment duration, the target animal species, fasting conditions (before or after feeding), and the substrates used for feeding (dissolving in water or mixing with feed), analytical methods used to determine active substances or their metabolites, methods of the statistical processing results and differences between individual values established in a group of animals involved in the study. The importance of approving the withdrawal period for generic veterinary medicinal products manufactured by different companies is confirmed by studies carried out by the European Medicines Agency order at the request of the Competent authorities of individual EU countries in connection with the detection of the overestimated residue level compared with the established maximum limits over time, defined as the withdrawal period specified during product authorization. In two cases, changes were made to the Summary of Product Characteristics and package leaflets, regarding the extension of the withdrawal period ","PeriodicalId":21617,"journal":{"name":"Scientific and Technical Bulletin оf State Scientific Research Control Institute of Veterinary Medical Products and Fodder Additives аnd Institute of Animal Biology","volume":" 9","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139197961","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Ethylbutylacetaminopropionate is used in insect acaricidal sprays as a repellent against mosquitoes, lice, fleas and ticks for pets. The aim of the work was to develop a method of identification and quantitative determination of ethylbutylacetaminopropionate in a spray for external use. The method was developed and validated by indicators of selectivity, linearity and suitability parameters of the chromatographic system. A spray repellent was used as a sample-object for the development of the technique. The standard sample and the test sample were dissolved in a mixture of acetonitrile and water in a volume ratio of 1:1, to a concentration of ethylbutylacetaminopropionate of 50 μg/ml. The samples were separated on a Dionex Ultimate 3000 chromatograph equipped with an Acclaim C18 chromatographic column 250×3.0, 3 μm. The mobile phase was a mixture of acetonitrile and water in a volume ratio of 60:40. Ethyl butylacetaminopropionate was detected at an absorption wavelength of 210 nm. Under the above conditions, it was possible to completely separate ethylbutylacetaminopropionate (retention time of the chromatographic peak – 4.9 min) and other components of the studied drug. At the same time, the suitability parameters of the chromatographic system did not exceed the limits specified in the recommendations of the USA Food and Drug Association. For ethylbutylacetaminopropionate, the efficiency of the chromatographic system was 15,100 theoretical plates The relative standard deviation (RSD) for the peak areas of the active substances was ± 0.31%, and the peak separation ratio (RS) of ethyl butylacetaminopropionate and other components of the drug was 25.0. The symmetry coefficient of the ethyl butylacetaminopropionate peak was 1.31. The calibration curve was linear in the recommended DFU 2.0 range (80–120% of the nominal concentration of active substance). The coefficient of linearity (R2) for ethyl butylacetaminopropionate was 0.9991.","PeriodicalId":21617,"journal":{"name":"Scientific and Technical Bulletin оf State Scientific Research Control Institute of Veterinary Medical Products and Fodder Additives аnd Institute of Animal Biology","volume":"1269 ","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139202464","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Bees of the control (I) group were fed with 60% of sugar syrup (s.s) in the amount of 2 l / family / week. Bees of the II (experimental) group with 2 l of s.s. received 4 mcg/ml of Mg in the form of citrate obtained by the nanotechnology method from LLC Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies, Kyiv. Indicators of bee queens egg laying intensity was determined by the method of counting the amount of number of sealed brood. Samples of bee body tissues and honey were investigated, in which the content of individual heavy metals (Fe, Сu, Zn) was determined on an atomic absorption spectrophotometer SF-115 PC, as well as the qualitative indicators of honey. According to the results of the researches during the entire research period bee queens of the control (1st), 2nd research groups oviposited 47783 and 49721 eggs, respectively. Probable inter group differences of egg laying were marked at feeding bee families pure sugar syrup and with adding to it citrates Mg. Amount of oviposited eggs in the 2nd research groups during the research period was higher accordingly by 1,4 % in comparison to the control group. Research results specify on expediency of application of citrates of Mg for stimulation of vital functions of bee colony and increasing the reproductive ability of queen bees during their intensive egg laying Researches have shown changes in the correlation of trace elements in body tissues of bees with an increase in the content of Fe, Cu and a decrease in the concentration Zn. Feeding of bees with Mg citrates caused an increase parameters of honey, as evidenced by the probable increase in diastasis number and proline content in honey of bees of the experimental groups. Organoleptic characteristics of honey when feeding bees with Mg citrates did not change significantly in the experimental groups compared with the control and met the current standards of DSTU 4497: 2005. Clinical signs of the disease were similar and characterized by anorexia, cachexia, vomiting and diarrhea that appeared in different periods of the disease. The mucous membranes of the oral cavity and eyes were icteric, the abdomen was visually enlarged, palpation revealed nodular thickenings in the abdominal cavity. During the ultrasound diagnostics, diffuse multiple non-encapsulated anechoic formations with uneven edges and growth of tumorous tissue into the intestinal wall were visualized. In another cat, there was an encapsulated formation of a hypoechoic fine-grained structure with well-defined vascularization. From the moment of the preliminary diagnosis until the very death, the cats were kept in the clinic under supervision. After the death, an autopsy was performed with the selection of material for histopathological examination. Organs’ fragments were fixed in 10% aqueous solution of neutral formalin and Carnois fluid. Histological preparations were made according to the generally accepted methods. Immunophenotyping of lymphoma type was performed using CD3 (T-cell) and CD79a (B-cell) markers. During the pathological autopsy, an increase in mesenteric lymph nodes, their compaction, and focal thickening of the small intestine wall were revealed. The histological examination showed that jejunum was the most infiltrated intestinal segment, in which massive, diffusely placed monomorphic lymphoblastic cells were localized in the mucous membrane lamina, submucosa and muscle layers. The submucosal layer vessels were sharply dilated, filled with erythrocytes; the muscles of the inner circular layer were swollen. The outer (longitudinal) muscle layer of the jejunum thickened significantly and was intensively infiltrated by lymphoblastic cells. Typical diffuse lymphoblastic proliferations were also detected in the cortical substance of lymph nodes and lymphoid nodules. Stasis and significant expansion of the marginal sinus vessels were visualized too. In addition, moderate mononuclear lymphoblastic infiltrates were detected in the pancreas parenchyma with their perivascular location. Immunohistochemically, a significant positive expression of CD3 cells was detected both in the jejunum mucous membrane and the marginal sinus area, around the germinal centers of the lymph nodes, which indicated a T-cell type of lymphoma.","PeriodicalId":21617,"journal":{"name":"Scientific and Technical Bulletin оf State Scientific Research Control Institute of Veterinary Medical Products and Fodder Additives аnd Institute of Animal Biology","volume":"10 4","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139196698","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This is facilitated by the constant change in the morphology and biological properties of the causative agent of tuberculosis, the low efficiency of existing laboratory diagnostic methods (outdated bacteriology standards that do not meet European requirements), the emergence of multi-resistant strains of mycobacteria that are difficult to treat. Therefore, in recent decades, scientists of the world have been actively working on the creation of new chemotherapeutic agents with potential tuberculocidal and tuberculostatic activity. In recent decades, cases of isolation of multi-resistant strains of mycobacteria have been increasingly recorded, causing infection that is difficult to treat, which poses a significant threat to the health of animals and people. The World Health Organization constantly monitors the situation of epidemic and socially significant diseases in the world. Particular attention is paid to tuberculosis. In the last decade, the WHO has developed and successfully applied the so-called DOTS strategy in the world. The essence of DOTS (Directly Observed Treatment Short-course) is strictly controlled treatment with a short course of chemotherapy. Therefore, the search for new chemotherapeutic drugs for the treatment of tuberculosis infection is a priority area of pharmaceutical chemistry. One of the promising similar drugs are triazole derivatives, the active development of which continues at the department of natural sciences for foreign students and toxicological chemistry of the Zaporizhzhia State Medical University. Therefore, the direction of influence of these derivatives on epizootic strains of mycobacteria, the causative agents of animal tuberculosis, is promising.","PeriodicalId":21617,"journal":{"name":"Scientific and Technical Bulletin оf State Scientific Research Control Institute of Veterinary Medical Products and Fodder Additives аnd Institute of Animal Biology","volume":"173 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139208104","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
