Alternative ways of solving it are due to the production and use of non-traditional feed raw materials in feed diets. A number of scientists consider atypical agricultural biotechnological products obtained from insects to be one of the alternative sources of fodder protein and amino acids and see prospects in the development of their production. The most common subjects for study in this regard are crickets, locusts, silkworm larvae, flies, worms, etc. Their protein value, amino acid, fatty acid and mineral composition, the content of vitamins, and other biologically active substances are studied. \u0000The development of this direction is considered one of the ways to solve a number of urgent environmental and fodder problems on a biological basis. \u0000Рurpose of the research was to study the protein value and complete amino acid composition of flour from insects, namely flour from the larvae of the BSF fly, crickets and snails, and the methods of its determining: crude protein by the Kjeldahl method, digestible protein with the help of 0,2% pepsin, and the digestibility coefficient, and the principles of conducting researches, as well as the characteristics of methods for determining the content of replaceable and essential amino acids, including sulfur-containing, using the Kapel-105M capillary electrophoresis system. \u0000As a result of the research, it was found that cricket flour is the least valuable in terms of protein value (digestible protein and digestibility coefficient), and it is also poor in the content of nonessential and essential amino acids, compared to other studied types of insect flour. \u0000The best indicators of protein value were noted in the flour from BSF fly larvae in terms of the content of crude and digestible proteins, as well as the digestibility coefficient, which is 75.6%, which indicates its good digestibility by the bodies of animals and birds. \u0000The highest content of amino acids is contained in the flour from BSF fly larvae. Taking into account the above results of crude protein content, digestibility, and digestibility in this sample, amino acid digestibility will also be higher compared to other flour samples. In addition, flour from BSF fly larvae is rich in sulfur-containing amino acids. The content of tryptophan and histidine, compared to other types of raw materials, is the highest. \u0000The studied samples of insect flour contain a complete set of essential and nonessential amino acids, but BSF fly larvae flour and snail flour are more valuable for essential amino acids.
Scientific and Technical Bulletin оf State Scientific Research Control Institute of Veterinary Medical Products and Fodder Additives аnd Institute of Animal Biology

Propoxur is used in insect acaricidal sprays and collars to kill fleas and ticks on pets. \u0000The aim of the work was to develop a method of identification and quantification of propoxur in spray for external use and collars with different matrices. The method was developed and validated by indicators of selectivity, linearity, suitability parameters of the chromatographic system and repeatability. Spray and collars with different polymer composition were used as a sample-object for the development of the technique. The standard sample and the test sample of the spray were dissolved in acetonitrile to a propoxur concentration of 50 μg/ml. The collar was dissolved in tetrahydrofuran and acetonitrile was added to precipitate the matrix. The samples were separated on a Dionex Ultimate 3000 chromatograph equipped with chromatographic column Acclaim C18 150×4.6, 5 μm. The mobile phase was a mixture of acetonitrile and water in a volume ratio of 80:20. Propoxur was detected at an absorption wavelength of 270 nm. \u0000Under the above conditions, it was possible to completely separate propoxur (retention time of the chromatographic peak – 2.2 min) and other components of the studied drugs. At the same time, the suitability parameters of the chromatographic system did not exceed the limits specified in the recommendations of the USA Food and Drug Association. For propoxur, the efficiency of the chromatographic system was 10,300–10,540 theoretical plates. The relative standard deviation (RSD) for the peak areas of the active substance was ± 0.37%, and the peak separation ratio (RS) of propoxur and other components of the drug was 3.1–5.7. The symmetry coefficient of the propoxur peak was 1.49. The calibration curve was linear in the recommended DFU 2.0 range (80–120% of the nominal concentration of the active substance). The coefficient of linearity (R2) for propoxur was 0.9985.
Scientific and Technical Bulletin оf State Scientific Research Control Institute of Veterinary Medical Products and Fodder Additives аnd Institute of Animal Biology

Were subjected to parasitological research cattle of various ages: dairy cows, heifers of mating age, calves. The research was carried out on pastures, in production premises and walking areas. As a result of the conducted research, it was established that the main representatives of zoophilic flies parasitizing animals in pasture conditions were: Lyperosia irritans, Haematobia stimulans, Musca autumnalis Musca vitripennis. The following types of flies in the case of animals staying in the production premises, were identified on them: Musca domestic, Fannia canicularus, Calliphora uralensis, Calliphora visina, Lucilia sericata and Muscina stabulans. It was established that the extent of infestation by zoophilous flies was 100% among all age groups of cattle. Intensity of infestation in the group of dairy cows was 270.22±4.28 specimens/animal, among heifers and heifers of mating age – 244.67±3.49 specimens/animal, and among calves – 81.67±1.14 specimens/animal. We identified a clear trend regarding the specifics of parasitic insect damage in cattle of different breeds. When staying within the same production group, the highest intensity of infestation (354.50±5.08 insects per animal) was found in black Holstein cows, and the lowest II indicator was found in Simmental cows - 159.83±1.41 insects per animal. The intensity of the infestation of cows by zoophilic flies among representatives of the Holstein breed is 28% higher than that of the Simmental breed, and also 25% higher than that of the cows of the Ukrainian black-spotted dairy breed. It was noted that with high indicators of the intensity of invasion by zoophilous flies, the animals showed the maximum degree of restlessness, when analyzing behavioral reactions and the level of well-being of cows. It manifested itself in a constant effort to be in motion. Therefore, as a result of the conducted complex of studies, the extreme relevance of insecticidal treatments of cattle of different age groups has been proven, since a wide range of zoophilic flies has been identified in the places where animals stay.
Scientific and Technical Bulletin оf State Scientific Research Control Institute of Veterinary Medical Products and Fodder Additives аnd Institute of Animal Biology

In particular, in the period before the full-scale invasion in 2022, the main players in the market were compound feed plant integrated into agricultural holdings. \u0000At the same time, about a third of the market belonged to the MHP Holding, and the main industries consuming compound feed were poultry and pig farming. In peacetime, the formation of the price of compound feed was influenced by two main factors: the price of feed raw materials and the cost of feed additives. Thus, in 2020-2021, the market faced a significant increase in the price of compound feed, which was caused by the reduction in grain and sunflower production. \u0000With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation on the territory of Ukraine and war, the agricultural sector suffered huge losses. Due to the loss of territories, mining of farmlands, destruction of agricultural machinery, destruction of granaries, blocking of seaports and disruption of logistics chains, the fodder industry of Ukraine require large capital investments for its recovery. Mostly it manifests itself as a permanent effect of positive temperatures well below the physiological norm or periodic fluctuations of an uncomfortable temperature. Such a stress factor of low intensity, but permanent over a long period of time, causes negative pathophysiological changes in the macroorganism with the development of immune-depression, metabolic syndrome, perversions of the qualitative composition of the microbiome and, as a result, disruption of native physiological processes of stimulation of cellular mechanisms of nonspecific innate immunity, induced by immune-biological mechanisms of the functioning of neutrophil granulocytes. The negative effect of low-intensity permanent cold stress was studied on a model object - murchakаs, which were kept for two weeks at a temperature of 4-6 °C under conditions of light and movement restriction. Before the start of the experiment, initial microbiological studies of the microbiome of the large intestine were conducted using generally accepted methods. Resident indigenous probiotic prokaryotes - M. vaccae & A. viridans, which possessed typical species characteristics, were isolated. Pathogenic variants of enterobacteria were not isolated, isolated cultures of E. coli were apathogenic and belonged to the usual normal flora. A two-week cold injury resulted in the disappearance of the indigenous probiotic microbiota M. vaccae & A. viridans, which are indicator prokaryotes of the physiological well-being of the macroorganism, from the microbiome. At the same time, the number of potentially pathogenic enteral microorganisms, coccal and rod-shaped, increased. This was correlated with a decrease in the phagocytic activity of native neutrophil granulocytes and their preformed filamentous spatial nucleoprotective mesh structures, which inhibit the de-fragmentary function in relation to genetically non-syngenic objects.
Scientific and Technical Bulletin оf State Scientific Research Control Institute of Veterinary Medical Products and Fodder Additives аnd Institute of Animal Biology

The feed additive contains yeast of the genus Saccharomyces cerevisiae with an activity of at least 1.5 x 10^10 CFU/g and a six enzymes complex with protease, cellulase, xylanase, ɑ-amylase, β-gluconase, phytase, which are located under the layer of yeast cells. \u0000The results of the study showed that the use of "EnzActive Mix" in sows and their piglets’ diet has a stimulating effect on the oxygen transport function of blood. This is evidenced by a higher number of erythrocytes and platelets, a higher concentration of haemoglobin and haematocrit in the blood of sows of the experimental group compared to the control group on 21st day of lactation (p<0.05). Addition of the feed additive "EnzActive Mix" to the diet caused changes in certain forms of leukocytes ratio in the sows’ blood. Thus, during this period, a higher (p<0.05) relative lymphocytes number and a tendency to decrease of segmented neutrophils number in the blood of experimental group sows compared to the control group were found. \u0000 Similar changes were noted in the haematological parameters study of piglets obtained from these sows. In particular, the leukocytes number in the blood of the experimental group piglets at 5-, 14- and 28-day age was higher than in their peers of the control group. At the same time, on the 5th day of life, the differences relatively to the control group animals were significant (p<0.05). Feeding of the feed additive led to a decrease in the segmented neutrophils relative number in the blood of the experimental group piglets on the 14th and 28th day of life (p<0.05) and an increase in the lymphocytes number (p<0.05) during the indicated periods of the study. \u0000The positive effect of the feed additive "EnzActive Mix" on the productivity parameters of the studied animals was established. In particular, the body weight of experimental group piglets at 5-, 14- and 28-day age was 7.8%, 13.7% (p<0.05) and 8.4% (p<0.01) higher, respectively, than that of the control group.
Scientific and Technical Bulletin оf State Scientific Research Control Institute of Veterinary Medical Products and Fodder Additives аnd Institute of Animal Biology
