The IMTA system is a cultivation method that utilizes feed residues that can be utilized by organism from the remaining feed biota at higher levels of trophic can be utilized by biota with lower trophic levels. This study aims to analyze the biological parameters with different densities of seaweed and green mussels and the best stocking densities for the growth and survival of tiger shrimp. The test animals used were PL 30 tiger shrimp with a range of sizes from 0.03 to 0.08 grams / larvae. Stocking density of tiger shrimp is 80 larvae / m2. The method used is the experimental method and complete randomized design with factorial design design with 9 treatments and 4 replications. The seaweed stock density treatment is 50, 100 and 150 grams while the stock of green seaweed stock is 30, 60, and 90 grams. The results showed that the highest growth rate and survival rate was found in treatment A1B1 with 50 grams of seaweed stocking density and 30 grams of green mussel with RGR value of 67.11% / day and the best SR of 88.75%. Phytoplankton found included 2 classes, namely Bacillariophyceae, and Cyanophyceae. Phytoplankton which dominates each treatment is found in the Bacillariophyceae class. The highest plankton abundance is found in A1B1 treatment with 50 grams of seaweed stock density and 30 grams of green mussels. Male guppy fish are more attractive, have more beautiful colour patterns, longer tail fins, and a slimmer body than female guppies. Hence, their selling price is much higher and is in demand in the market in the ornamental fish industry. One way that can be done to produce male guppy fish is by using the sex reversal or masculinization method. The sex reversal method that can be used is to use a solution of young hybrid coconut water (Cocos nucifera) with different doses. The immersion process will affect the percentage of male sex in guppy fish because in the young coconut water solution there is a content of potassium which plays a role in the sex reversal process which functions to regulate testosterone regulation in the body and direct the work of androgens. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of young coconut water on the sex ratio of male guppies resulting from the immersion of female broodfish and to determine the best dose for the success rate of masculinization of guppy fish. The research was conducted from April to June 2020 in guppy fish farmers in Sidomulyo Village, East Ungaran District, Semarang Regency. The test animal used was the Black Moscow fish. This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized design of 4 treatments and 3 replications. Treatment of different immersion doses of young coconut water solution used were A (without immersion), B (40%), C (45%), D (50%). The data observed included the percentage of the male sex, survival rate and water quality. The results obtained from the research showed that the percentage value of male guppy fish was treated A (50.57 ± 3.48%), B (84.90 ± 2.55%), C (90.42 ± 1.67%), D (96.90 ± 1.34%). The results of the survival rate are treatment A (98.91 ± 0.95%), B (95.58 ± 2.48%), C (91.25 ± 3.46%), D 84.36 ± 3.62 %. The results of water quality observations were in the form of temperatures ranging from 26.9-28.9 ℃, pH (7.2-7.9), and DO ranging from 3.5-5.5 mg/ L. The conclusion was that immersion of young coconut water solution in pregnant guppy broods with different doses had a significant effect (P <0.05) on the percentage of the male sex. Due tu a larger proportion of diet protein is utilized as energy by fish. Cinnamomun leaves extract (C. burmannii) contains the active ingredients of polyphenol and synnamaldehyde compounds which are thought to threaten body contents from diet fats and carbohydrates. So that diet fats and carbohydrates are expected to be used more efficiently as a substitute for diet protein energy. The purpose of this study was to examine the role of polyphenol and synnamaldehyde compounds in cinnamomun (C. burmannii) leaves extract to increase the growth and survival of milkfish (C. chanos). The study consisted of four treatments, namely A (0 g/kg diet), B (0.5 g/kg diet), C (1 g / kg diet), and D (2 g/kg diet) the treatment was repeated three times. The results showed that the additions of cinnamomun leaves extract in the diet at different doses had a significant effect (P <0,05) on the level of diet consumption, efisiency diet utilizen, protein efficiency ratio, and relative growth rate, but the same (P >0,05) for the survival rate. Treatment B (0.5 g/kg diet) gave the highest results for level of diet consumption, efisiency diet utilizen, protein efficiency ratio, and relative growth rate, wich are 77.18 ± 1.41 g, 47.32 ± 10.32%, 1.18 ± 0.26%, and 0.95 ± 0.26%. Oithona sp. memiliki nilai nutrisi yang hampir sebanding dengan Artemia. Oithona sp. memiliki kandungan protein sebesar 69,24%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengkaji pengaruh perbedaan kandungan protein pada pakan organik terhadap performa pertumbuhan Oithona sp., dan mengetahui perlakuan dari kandungan protein pakan organik yang memberikan performa pertumbuhan Oithona sp. terbaik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperimen menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang dilakukan yaitu pemberian pakan organik dengan kandungan protein 25% (A), 30% (B), 35% (C) dan 40% (D). Kultur Oithona sp. dilakukan di dalam 14 toples plastik bervolume 9 L yang diisi air media sebanyak 2,5 L. Pemeliharaan dilakukan selama 20 hari. Pada setiap kultur Oithona sp. dalam toples plastik diberikan pakan sebanyak 50% dari sel mikroalga Chaetoceros calcitrans dan 50% pakan organik yang telah difermentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kandungan protein pakan organik berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pertumbuhan Oithona sp. (P<0,01) namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap produksi telur Oithona sp. (P>0,05). Pemberian 30% protein pada pakan organik merupakan dosis terbaik dalam penelitian ini. Pengembangan ikan seluang perlu dilakukan melalui proses budidaya, agar terjaga ketersediaan ikan seluang di alam. Sehingga perlu diketahui aspek reproduksi sebagai informasi dalam upaya pemijahan ikan seluang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektifitas hormon GnRH-Analog+Anti Dopamin yang diberikan untuk kematangan gonad ikan seluang melalui pakan dan mengevaluasi dosis terbaik yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kematangan gonad ikan seluang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode percobaan, dengan dosis pemberian GnRH-Analog+Anti Dopamin ke dalam pakan yang digunakan ialah  P1 (0 ml/g) P2 (0,005 ml/g) P3 (0,01 ml/g) P4 (0,015 ml/g). Bawang putih (Allium sativum) sebagai salah satu tanaman obat terbukti memiliki aktivitas antibakteri terhadap spektrum luas bakteri Gram positif maupun Gram negatif, sehingga berpotensi dijadikan antibiotik alami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penambahan  ekstrak bawang putih (A. sativum) pada pakan terhadap kelulushidupan ikan nila salin (Oreochromis niloticus) yang diinfeksi oleh bakteri V.harveyi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode eksperiman menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Parameter yang diamati yaitu kelulushidupan (survival rate/SR), total leukosit, dan gejala klinis secara morfologi ikan nila salin yang diinfeksi bakteri V.harveyi. Total ikan uji sebanyak 120 ekor dengan panjang rata-rata ± 10 cm. Perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu A (0 ppm), B (50 ppm), C (100 ppm), dan D (150 ppm) didapat berdasarkan hasil uji pendahuluan berupa uji zona hambat. Pergantian air dilakukan setiap 3 kali sehari  sebanyak 30% dari air pemeliharaan selama 14 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan ekstrak bawang puith berpengaruh nyata terhadap kelulushidupan (p<0,05). Perlakuan D (150 ppm) menunjukkan kelangsungan hidup tertinggi (68,15%), diikuti perlakuan C (66,67%), B (62,96%) dan A (48,15%). Haditomo","doi":"10.14710/SAT.V3I2.4069","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.14710/SAT.V3I2.4069","url":null,"abstract":"Aeromonas hydrophila is a bacteria that causes of MAS disease (motile aeromonad septicemia) in freshwater fish cultivation and can cause mass death in a fairly short period of time in some species including tilapia. There are several alternative strategies in prevention, one of which is the use of probiotic bacteria as agents for controlling or preventing this disease. One candidate for probiotics that has been molecularly identified as 16sRNA and is known to have the ability to inhibit pathogenic bacteria is B. methylotrhrophicus. The aim of this research was to study B.methylotrophicus in inhibiting  A. hydrophila in Oreochromis niloticus culture. This research consisted of in vitro and in vivo test that used experiment method with completely randomized design with 4 treatments (density of 1 fishes/l) and 3 replications. The treatment consisted of a mixture of A. hydrophila 102 CFU/mL with B. methylotrophicus 109 CFU/mL (a) without addition of B. methylotrophicus (b) Addition every 3 days, (c) Addition every 5 days, (d) Addition every 7 day. 120 fishes at average weight of 17,5±1,9 g was used as experimental animals. Based on the in vitro test, the most powerful concentration of B. methylotrophicus to inhibit A. hydrophila was 109 cfu/mL with clear zone of 24,9±4,2 mm. In vivo tests show that the addition of B. methylotrophicus periodecally does not significantly affect survival rates, but can slow the gowth of A. hydrophila. Treatment D showed the highest survival rate (13.33%), followed by treatment A (6.66%), B (3.33%), and C (3.33%). Biaya pakan dihitung sekitar 60-70% dari total biaya dalam satu siklus produksi. Tingginya porsi biaya pakan disebabkan oleh ketidakefisienan pakan. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah dengan menambahkan enzim papain dalam pakan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh suplementasi enzim papain dalam pakan terhadap pertumbuhan dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup lele sangkuriang (Clarias sp) yang dipelihara di kolam, di Desa Tambaksari, Kecamatan Rowosari, Kabupaten Kendal, Provinsi Jawa Tengah, Indonesia. Bibit lele sangkuriang yang digunakan memiliki berat rata-rata 2,23 ± 0,56 g / benih. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap. Percobaan dilakukan dalam 4 (empat) perlakuan dan setiap perlakuan memiliki 4 (empat) pengulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari penambahan enzim papain protease ke dalam pakan dengan dosis 0 mg / kg pakan (A), 0,75 mg / kg pakan (B), 1,5 mg / kg pakan (C) dan 2 , 25 mg / kg pakan (D). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suplemen enzim papain dalam pakan secara signifikan (P <0,01) memengaruhi Specific Growth Rate (SGR); dan tidak berpengaruh signifikan (P> 0,05) Survival Rate  (SR) lele sangkuriang (Clarias sp). Dosis terbaik penambahan enzim papain adalah pada level 1,5 mg / kg pakan (perlakuan C) yang memiliki efek optimal pada pertumbuhan ikan. Tigriopus sp. lebih toleran terhadap perubahan kondisi lingkungan seperti suhu dan salinitas, yang dapat berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas dan kepadatan individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh salinitas media kultur yang berbeda terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi telur Tigriopus sp. dan mengetahui salinitas terbaik serta salinitas optimal bagi pertumbuhan dan produksi telur Tigriopus sp. Rancangan yang digunakan ialah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 5 kali ulangan. Tigriopus sp. dengan kepadatan awal 1 ind/ml pada masing-masing perlakuan, dikultur pada media dengan salinitas yang berbeda selama 20 hari pemeliharaan. Salinitas media tersebut diantaranya 14 ppt (perlakuan A), 18 ppt (perlakuan B), 22 ppt (perlakuan C), 26 ppt (perlakuan D), 30 ppt (perlakuan E) dan 34 ppt (perlakuan F). Diet mikroalga yang diberikan ialah dari jenis Chaetoceros calcitrans dan Isochrysis galbana dengan kebutuhan 511.349:231.129 sel/ind/hari. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa salinitas berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap pertumbuhan namun tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap produksi telur Tigriopus sp. Hasil terbaik ditunjukkan pada perlakuan B (salinitas media 18 ppt) yang menghasilkan pertumbuhan dengan jumlah individu diakhir pemeliharaan sebanyak 47,8±0,31 ind/10 ml dan produksi telur Tigriopus sp. sebanyak 17,67±0,58 ind/10 ml. Produksi larva bandeng dipengaruhi oleh jenis pakan alami rotifer. Peningkatan nutrisi rotifer dapat dilakukan melalui pengkayaan (enrichment) dengan vitamin B1, B6, B12 dan C. Kombinasi vitamin ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan kelulushidupan larva. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh pengkayaan B. rotundiformis dengan dosis vitamin (B1, B6, B12 dan C) yang berbeda terhadap kelulushidupan dan pertumbuhan larva. Pengambilan data dilakukan saat larva berusia D3 – D15 dan D15 – D20. Larva D3 dipelihara selama 20 hari di dalam 15 bak plastik yang berisi 30L air payau dengan kepadatan 600 ekor/bak. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri atas 5 perlakuan dengan 3 kali pengulangan, yaitu: A (Pengkayaan rotifer 0 µg/mL vitamin B12 dan 0 µg/mL vitamin C), B (0,7 µg/mL vitamin B12 dan 4 µg/mL vitamin C), C (1,4 µg/mL vitamin B12 dan 4 µg/mL vitamin C), D (2,1 µg/mL vitamin B12 dan 4 µg/mL vitamin C), E (2,8 µg/mL vitamin B12 dan 4 µg/mL vitamin C). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengkayaan rotifer dengan vitamin B1, B6, B12 dan C berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap Pertumbuhan Panjang Relatif (PPR) dan SR larva D3 – D15 dan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap FCR, EPP, PER, RGR, PPR dan SR larva D15 – D20.
