The nutritional content of cacao pod husk consisted of 9,15% protein, 1,96 % lipid, 25,64 % crude fiber, 10,39% ash, and 52,86% nitrogen-free extract  (NFE). Crude fiber from cacao pod husk was difficult to be digested by fish.  The solution for that constraint was by applying fermentation proccess. This experiment was aimed to observe the influence of cacao pod husk flour which has been fermented first before added into the practical diets, on the feed efficiency and growth of carp (Cyprinus carpio). The trial fish used were carp (C. carpio) with an initial average body weight of 6,54 ± 0,07 g/fish. Feeding frequency applied was twice a day, i.e. at 08.00 a.m and 16.00 p.m. and by appliying an at satiation method. The fishes were cultured for 42 days with the stocking density of 1 fish/ 2L. The experimental method used was completely randomize design (RCD) with 4 treatments and 3 replicates. The treatment of A, B, C, and D were the trial diets with the concentration of cacao pod husk flour of 0, 10, 20, and 30%, respectively. The data measured were feed consumption, feed efficiency (FE), protein efficiency ratio (PER), growth (G), spesific growth rate (SGR), and survival rate (SR). The data showed that the use of fermented cacao pod husk flour in the diets resulted significant by effects (P<0,05) on the feed consumption, FE, PER,G, SGR, and SR. Treatment C resulted on the values of feed consumption i.e. 190.1±2.98g, FE i.e. 88.19±8.09%, PER i.e. 2.66±0.24%, G i.e. 7,26±0,11, SGR i.e. 1.68±0.13%, and SR i.e. 96,00±4,00%. The water quality parameters during this observe were varied between suitable range for fish life. One of the problems in hatching of silver barb is because the maturation period of gamete broodstock male and female fish does not happen together. The solution to solving this problem is through the application of reproductive biotechnology in form of sperm storage. High sperm concentration can inhibit spermatozoa activity and affect sperm to find microphils. The addition of honey in dilute solution of physiological NaCl is expected to be able to improve the quality of sperm of silver barb. The aim this research was to know the effect and the best honey dosage in physiological NaCl on sperm quality of silver barb. The test fish that will be used in this research is 1 broodstock male and 1 broodstock female with 1-1,5 years old. In this research, the Completely Randomized Design experimental method is used. This research also using 4 treatments and 3 repetitions. Those treatment were A (0 ml honey + 100 ml physiological NaCl), B (0,2 ml honey + 99,8 ml physiological NaCl), C (0,4 ml honey + 99,6 ml physiological NaCl), D (0,6 ml honey + 99,4 ml physiological NaCl). The result of this research shows, addition of honey with different doses in dilute solution of physiological NaCl gave significant effect (p < 0,05) on fertilization rate and hatching rate of silver barb. Feed utilization efficiency (FUE) by tilapia could be improved by feed them with the suitable E/P ratio value of feed. This studi was aimed to examine the effect of various dietary protein with the E/P ratio of 8,5 kcal/g protein on the growth of nile tilapia. The experimental fish used was nile tilapia with the average body weight of 0,50±0,02 g/fish. The feed was given three times a day i.e. at 8.00 am, 12.00, and 4.00, pm by applied at satiation method. The experimental fish was maintained for 35 days with the density of 1 fish/l. The experiment used was completely randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 replicates. The treatments A, B, C, and D were trial feeds with protein content of 28, 30, 33, and 36% with DE content 240, 255, 280.5, and 306 kcal, respectively. The variables measured were total feed consumption (TFC), ratio efficiency protein (REP), specific growth rate (SGR), and survival rate (SR). The data showed that various dietary protein with equal E/P ratio resulted significantly effect (P<0,05) on FUE, REP, and SGR; but did not significantly effect (P>0,05) on TFC and SR. The TFC values of A, B, C, and D were 17,84±1,24, 18,70±0,28, 17,42±0,53, and 18,65±0,34 g; FUE values were 27,20±2,49, 38,19±3,84, 41,05±1,74, and 44,49±5,60%; REP values were 0,96±0,09, 1,28±0,13, 1,26±0,05, and 1,25±0,16%; and SGR values were 1,46±0,08, 1,94±0,28, 1,95±0,08, and 2,05±0,30%/day. The SR values of A, B, C and D were 100±0,00, 97,78±3,85, 97,78±3,85, and 95,33±4,04%, respectively. Catfish have a low feed efficiency value which is causes the growth of catfish to be less optimal, so it is necessary to add ingredient into the diets so that the fish are interested in eating the diets given. The use of earthworm meal as an attractant was expected to increase of feed consumption, feed efficiency and growth of catfish. This experiment aimed to study the effect of dietary earthworm meal as an attractant on feed consumption level, feed efficiency and growth of catfish (Pangasius sp.). The catfish used with an initial average body weight of 6,78±0,68 g/fish. The fishes were cultured in the aquarium for 42 days with the stocking dencity of 1 fish/2L. The experimental method used was completely randomize design (RCD) with 4 treatments and 3 replicates.  The treatments were addition of earthworm meal (Lumbricus sp.) as an attractant with a dose of 0%, 5%, 10% and 15% in the diets. The data showed that  the use of earthworm meal (Lumbricus sp.) inclusion in the diets resulted in significant effects (P <0,05) on feed consumption  (159,73 g), FE (81.06%), PER (2,31%), G (9,76 g) and SGR (1,97%/day) but not significant effect (P>0,05) on survival rate (84.44-93,33%). The best food preference test in treatment C dose 10% of earthworm meal with percentage 44% fish approaching diets. The water quality parameters during this study varied between suitable range for the catfish (Pangasius sp.) life, i.e temperatures 27,70-30,900C; pH 7,00; DO 5,37-5,52 mg/L and NH3 0,0036-0,0095 mg/L. Harga pakan terus meningkat tanpa diiringi dengan kenaikan harga ikan. Hal tersebut menjadikan pengusaha budidaya perikanan terus berinovasi mencari alternatif bahan lokal. Salah satu alternatif yang digunakan yaitu silase cacing tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh silase cacing tanah (Lumbricus sp.) sebagai substitusi tepung ikan dalam pakan buatan terhadap pemanfaatan pakan dan pertumbuhan ikan bawal tawar serta menentukan komposisi terbaik silase cacing tanah (Lumbricus sp.) sebagai substitusi tepung ikan dalam pakan buatan. Ikan uji yang digunakan yaitu benih ikan bawal tawar dengan bobot tubuh rata-rata 2,98±0,01 g/ekor, dipelihara selama 35 hari, padat tebar 1 ekor/L. Pakan yang digunakan berbentuk pellet dengan protein 31% diberikan secara at satiation dua kali sehari. Eksperimen menggunkan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) 4 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan, substitusi silase cacing tanah yang digunakan yaitu perlakuan A (0%), B (25%), C (50%) dan D (75%). Variabel yang diamati meliputi total konsumsi pakan (TKP), efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan (EPP), rasio konversi pakan (FCR), protein efisiensi rasio (PER), laju pertumbuhan relatif (RGR) dan kelulushidupan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa silase cacing tanah sebagai substitusi tepung ikan memberikan pengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap TKP, EPP, FCR, PER dan RGR, namun tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kelulushidupan. This experiment was to determine the effect of substitution of anchovy flour with fish meal in feed onthe feed utilization efficiency and growth of tilapia (O. niloticus) seed. The trial fish used were individual body better range betwen 5-7 cm tilapia (O. niloticus) with initial average body weight of 3.07±0.03 g/fish density the was 1 fish/liter for 35 days. The variables measured included the totalfeed consumption (TFC), feed utilization efficiency (FUE), protein efficiency ratio (PER), relative growth rate (RGR), and survival rate (SR). The experimentused was completely randomized design that consisted of 5 treatments and 3 replicates. The fifth treatments were treatment A, B, C, D, and E, withration of dietary fish meal to anchovy flour was 0:100, 25:75, 50:50, 75:25, and 100:0%, respectively. The data showed that dietary anchovy flour resulted significantly effect on TFC, FUE, RGR, and PER values, but did not for SR value.  Treatment Cassumsted the best performance values for TFC,FUE, PER, and RGR, with the values for 80,70%, 69,45%, 2,19%, and 1,6%/day, respectively. Peningkatan produksi budidaya dapat dilakukan dengan efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan sebagai upaya memenuhi kebutuhan konsumsi ikan nila. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan yaitu penggunaan enzim eksogenus dengan penambahan probiotik penghasil enzim ke dalam pakan yang mampu meningkatkan efisiensi pakan karena lebih mudah dicerna dan enzim dapat bekerja lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja pertumbuhan dan respons imun ikan nila. B.methylotrophicus merupakan salah satu kandidat bakteri probiotik yang diduga mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan respon imun ikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penambahan bakteri kandidat probiotik B.methylotrophicus pada pakan buatan terhadap efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan, pertumbuhan, rasio konversi pakan, kelulushidupan, serta pengaruhnya terhadap gejala klinis, profil darah ikan nila (O.niloticus) yang diuji tantang terhadap A. hydrophila. Ikan uji yang digunakan adalah ikan nila (O.niloticus) dengan bobot rata-rata 14,43±0,11 g. Metode penelitian yaitu eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri atas 4 perlakuan dengan 3 ulangan yaitu perlakuan A (0 CFU/mL), B (105 CFU/mL), C (107 CFU/mL) dan D (109 CFU/mL). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) terhadap laju pertumbuhan relatif (RGR) dan kelulushidupan (SR) namun tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap efisiensi pemanfaatan pakan (EPP) dan rasio konversi pakan (FCR) ikan nila (O.niloticus). Hasil berpengaruh terhadap dinamika profil darah ikan nila (O.niloticus) yang diuji tantang dengan gejala klinis menunjukkan adanya infeksi. The development of milkfish cultivation technology in the community is inseparable from its comparative and strategic advantages because milkfish can be cultivated in brackish water, sea water and even freshwater and tolerant to environmental quality changes. Technology of cultivation and seeding has been done by the community. Milkfish is not susceptible to disease. The prospect of the development of milkfish breeding business in Ulujami District has good potential due to market demand. The purpose of this research is to know the technical aspect, financial aspect, and business feasibility of milkfish cultivation in Ulujami District. This research method is interview that is using questionnaire for data retrieval. The problems that arise in the breeding business of milkfish enlargement is how the efforts to obtain good and profitable results in fulfilling the market demand by spending as less as possible because it affects the profitability of the milkfish farmer income. Data analysis methods are obtained from Payback Period (PP), which is located in Limbangan Village 0.34, Mojo Village 0.98 and Pesantren Village 5.85. Net Present Value (NPV), the farmer's NPV value is positiv.  Benefit Cost Ratio (B / C Ratio) of each village are 2.35 and 4. Solusi untuk menurunkan kandungan bahan organik yaitu menggunakan kerang hijau (Perna viridis) sebagai biofilter. Kerang hijau sebagai hewan filter feeder dapat mengasimilasi bahan organik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji laju filtrasi kerang hijau dalam menurunkan kandungan bahan organik yang berasal dari kepadatan udang windu  yang berbeda dan mengkaji  pertumbuhan serta kelulushidupan udang windu yang dibudidayakan dengan air hasil filtrasi kerang hijau. Biota uji yang digunakan adalah udang windu post larva 45 kepadatan 40 ekor/m2 dan kerang hijau ukuran 3-4 cm kepadatan 30 ekor/m2. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri atas 3 perlakuan dengan 3 kali pengulangan, yaitu: A (kepadatan udang windu 20 ekor/m2), B (kepadatan udang windu 60 ekor/m2), dan C (kepadatan udang windu 100 ekor/m2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan organik dari kepadatan udang windu yang berbeda tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhahap laju filtrasi (FR) kerang hijau dalam menurunkan kandungan bahan organik. Air limbah hasil filtrasi kerang hijau tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhahap pertumbuhan dan kelulushidupan udang windu. Laju filrasi perlakuan A berkisar antara -1,83–1,31L/hari, perlakuan B -2,07–0,96 L/hari, dan perlakuan C -2,03–1,06 L/hari. Penurunan bahan organik perlakuan A sebesar 44,92 mg/L, perlakuan B 36,58 mg/L, dan perlakuan C 39,84 mg/L. Laju pertumbuhan relatif perlakuan A sebesar 12,32±1,02%, perlakuan B 12,46±0,81%, dan perlakuan C 13,68±1,28%. Kegiatan budidaya kakap putih di Indonesia saat ini masih belum banyak berkembang, salah satu faktor yang menghambat kegiatan pembesaran kakap putih di Indonesia adalah masih sulitnya pengadaan pakan rucah secara berkelanjutan dalam jumlah yang cukup. Salah satu upaya kegiatan pembesaran ikan kakap putih yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan media keramba jaring apung (KJA) dan penggunaan pellet sebagai ganti pakan rucah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui performa pertumbuhan ikan kakap putih (Lates calcarifer) yang dibudidayakan dengan sistem keramba jaring apung (KJA). Hasil dari pengamatan performa pertumbuhan ikan kakap putih yang dibudidayakan dengan sistem KJA adalah nilai SGR 0,28%/hari, nilai pertumbuhan bobot mutlak 47 g, dan nilai kelulushidupan 82,5%.
