Hii ni mbinu inayotofautisha baina ya nani anaona na nani anasimulia. Kimsingi, mbinu hii hutumika katika kujenga uelewa na mtazamo juu ya masuala mbalimbali katika matini simulizi (Flavian, 2021). Dhima mojawapo ya mbinu hii inayojitokeza kwa uwazi ni kumfanya msomaji aone jambo fulani na kisha achukue mtazamo ambao utamwezesha kuyatazama mambo kwa mwelekeo fulani. Hata hivyo, kutokana na uchambuzi wa riwaya za Nagona (Kezilahabi, 1990; 2011) na Mzingile (Kezilahabi, 1991; 2011) ambao tumeufanya katika makala hii, uolezi unaonekana kutumika kujenga utambulisho wa wahusika. Hali hii imechangia waandishi wengi kujiaminisha kwamba watoto wana akili ndogo na hivyo basi ni rahisi mno kuwaandikia vitabu (Fox, 1993). Fox anadai kwamba watoto huwa na uwezo mkubwa wa akili na hali hiyo huchangia katika ugumu wa kuwatungia hadithi. Anasema kwamba ni vigumu zaidi kutunga fasihi ya watoto kuliko fasihi inayolenga hadhira ya watu wazima. Lengo la makala hii ni kuonesha kwamba, humohumo katika usahili unaonuiwa kumnufaisha msomaji mtoto mna uchangamano katika kazi za fasihi ya Kiswahili ya watoto zinaposomwa kwa jicho kali la kiuhakiki kwa misingi ya kinadharia. Makala inakusudia kupambanua namna itikadi za kisiasa zinavyobainika katika fasihi ya watoto kwa kuchambua maudhui katika tungo hizo. Tungo zinazohakikiwa ni: Usininyonye (Komora, 1971), Mkasa wa Shujaa Liyongo (Matundura, 2001), Karamu Mbinguni (Kimunyi, 2002), Zimwi la Leo! (Wamitila, 2002) na Sungura Mpanda Ngazi (Kobia, 2008). Usampulishaji wa kimakusudi umetumika kuteua kazi hizi. Usomaji wa matini umeegemezwa katika Nadharia ya Umaksi. Lusekelo, Halima Mvungi Amir","doi":"10.4314/kcl.v20i2.5","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.4314/kcl.v20i2.5","url":null,"abstract":"Since research has shown that the classification of plants into noun classes varies from one Bantu language to another (Legère, 2020), the present article contributes to the formation of the canonical noun classes for plants in the Nyamwezi and Sukuma languages in Tanzania. The data was gathered in Mwanza, Shinyanga, Simiyu and Tabora regions mainly through elicitation, revealed that the language has developed a lexicon of plant names based on four word formation strategies: (i) assignment of plant names to canonical tree noun classes 3/5 and 5/6, event for reduplicated, compounded and borrowed nouns; (ii) compounding of verbs and nouns to derive plant names; (iii) reduplication of verbs and nouns to derive plant names, and (iv) lexical borrowing from Swahili and English. The abundance of nouns in classes 5/6 suggests innovation in that classes 3/4 are being replaced by classes 5/6. Also, the paper shows that under the compounding, reduplication and phrasal mechanisms of nouns formation, many plant names express: (a) the structure and physiology of the plants, e.g. scent, softness or hardness; (b) physical environment where plants flourish, e.g. on mountain tops; (c) the berries and tubers produced by the plants; (d) the (gender) sex of the plants, and (e) the scent/smell produced by the plants. Based on the findings, it becomes plausible to establish that the Nyamwezi and Sukuma people employ both linguistic resources and physical and natural environment in assigning names to plants. Kwa ujumla, nyimbo ni fani ya fasihi simulizi ambayo hutumika katika hatua na nyanja mbalimbali za maisha ya binadamu. Mojawapo ya vipera vyake ni nyimbo za watoto. Nyimbo hizo, pamoja na mambo mengine, zina hazina kubwa ya mafunzo katika kuyaelewa mazingira ya jamii husika. Mazingira ni kila kitu kinachomzunguka mwanadamu (na mwenyewe akiwamo). Hujumuisha wanadamu, wanyama, mimea, bahari, mawingu, ardhi, majengo, milima na vitu visivyo na uhai. Lengo la makala hii ni kuchunguza mchango wa fasihi ya Kiswahili, hususani nyimbo za watoto, nchini Tanzania katika taaluma ya mazingira. Makala inachunguza namna ambavyo nyimbo za watoto zinatoa maarifa mbalimbali kuhusu mazingira katika kumfunza mtoto na jamii kwa ujumla. Data za utafiti huu zilikusanywa uwandani kwa kusikiliza nyimbo za watoto za Kiswahili kutoka katika muktadha wa kitaaluma na katika mazingira yao wanamoishi. Aidha, data nyingine zilipatikana kwa kupitia maandiko mbalimbali maktabani kuhusu nyimbo hizo. Njia mojawapo ya urithishaji wa utamaduni katika jamii inayobadilika ni umatinishaji-upya wa matini. Huu ni mchakato wa kuichopoa matini kutoka katika muktadha wake asilia na kuichopeka katika muktadha mpya. Nchini Tanzania, kumekuwa na utaratibu huu pia ambapo hotuba mbalimbali za Mwalimu Julius K. Nyerere hurushwa na kituo cha TBC Taifa kila siku katika kipindi kijulikanacho kama 'Wosia wa Baba‘. Halikadhalika, nyimbo mbalimbali zilizopigwa miaka iliyopita huendelea kupigwa ili kurithisha tunu mbalimbali kwa kizazi cha sasa. Makala hii inajadili hotuba ya Mwalimu Nyerere iliyohusisha utambaji wa ngano. Ngano hii inahusu wanaume waliogeuka kuwa mawe baada ya kutetereka kimsimamo. Data zilikusanywa kwa njia za hojaji na upitiaji nyaraka. Matokeo yalionesha kuwa wanafunzi hufanya dosari mbalimbali za kisarufi katika makundi makubwa manne ya kisarufi ambayo ni: ya kifonolojia, kimofolojia, kisintaksia na kisemantiki. Lengo lake ni kufafanua ruwaza za ujalizaji wa vitenzi kwa kubainisha miundo mbalimbali ya vijalizo vya vitenzi vya Kiswahili sanifu. Data zimekusanywa maktabani kwa njia ya upitiaji wa nyaraka na kuchambuliwa kwa kutumia Nadharia ya Msingi ya Isimu ya Dixon (2010). Makala hii inaonesha kuwa wanasarufi wanatofautiana katika kubainisha aina za miundo ya ruwaza za ujalizaji wa vitenzi katika lugha ya Kiswahili kutokana na maendeleo ya kinadharia. Katika sarufi mapokeo, kitenzi kinajalizwa na kirai nomino chenye uamilifu wa yambwa. Pia, katika Sarufi Mfumo Amilifu kitenzi kinajalizwa na kijalizo ambacho kinaweza kuwa kirai nomino au kirai kivumishi. Vilevile, tofauti na mitazamo iliyotangulia, katika nadharia za kimuundo, kama vile za Sarufi Geuzi inaonesha kuwa kitenzi kinaweza kujalizwa na kirai, kishazi au sentensi. Aidha, mitazamo hiyo inadhihirisha kuwapo kwa namna mbalimbali za ujalizaji wa vitenzi ambazo ndizo ruwaza za ujalizaji wa vitenzi. Mnyampala ni miongoni mwa washairi maarufu wa ushairi wa Kiswahili katika karne ya ishirini. Kwa ujumla, mchango wa Mnyampala katika ushairi wa Kiswahili haujulikani kikamilifu tukilinganisha na washairi wengine kama Muyaka bin Haji na Shaaban Robert. Maswali tunayojiuliza ni kwamba: kwa nini Mnyampala hajazungumziwa na wataalamu mbalimbali? Mnyampala alikuwa na mchango gani katika ushairi wa Kiswahili? Kutokana na maswali hayo tunaona kuna haja ya kuchunguza mchango wa mtaalamu huyu katika ushairi wa Kiswahili.
