In addition to descriptive analyses and subgroup analyses, correlation measures and effect sizes were also determined.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>One third of the 447 psychotherapists surveyed recognised a reduction in the waiting time for an initial consultation, and 25.0% considered the TSS to be a well-functioning central point of contact. The lack of available capacity was seen as an obstacle to making appointments with the TSS.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>The results highlight the potential of TSS to improve access to psychotherapeutic care, but also point to challenges that need to be overcome. Drawing on a narrative integration of philosophical, psychopathological, and empirical literature, alienation is discussed as a phenomenon situated between subjective experience and socially mediated processes. Social alienation resulting from deprivation or work intensification may contribute to the development and persistence of mental disorders, while its relevance for disorder-specific treatments remains insufficiently understood. Interventions aiming to foster resonance and relations to the world (e. g. green prescribing, Soteria) are discussed, although stronger empirical support is required. Nevertheless, data on suicidality and actual mental health care utilization remain limited. In an exploratory pilot study conducted in shared accommodation facilities in Lübeck, established screening questionnaires for depression, anxiety disorders, PTBS, and somatoform disorder were used to assess the prevalence of at least one mental disorder, which was 78%. Overall, 10.8% reported at least one suicide attempt after arriving in Germany. In contrast to the general population, where the likelihood of psychiatric/psychotherapeutic treatment increases with the number of comorbid disorders, participants in our study showed an opposite pattern. The study examines the experiences of former users of a facility in northern Germany and derives practical recommendations.</p><p><strong>Methodology: </strong>Naturalistic, qualitative longitudinal design with five measurement points (n=18). Semi-structured interviews and content analysis (Kuckartz).</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>The participants consider structured information, targeted support, peer networking, and continuous exchange to be helpful. A confident attitude on the part of the support network and the visibility of role models are desired.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>The results suggest that there is a great need for change in reducing bureaucratic hurdles and improving access to the housing market. This was the most obvious publication option for GDR professionals.The number of publications by women increased significantly from 1968 onwards. Nevertheless, of the 5,662 publications between 1949 and 1990, only 18.12% were written by or with women. The 20 women with the most publications can be identified for the first time.It stands to reason that women gained a greater presence in psychiatry and neurology in the GDR in the second half of the 1960s. Some women will also have increasingly attained higher positions here, as they functioned as scientific publicists. The focus was on metaphorical usage of the terms, their contextualization in relation to criminal offenses, and the depiction of treatment options.The analysis is based on a systematic full-text review of 709 articles, categorized according to predefined thematic criteria.The findings indicate a decline in metaphorical usage from 44.9% in 2004 to 30.8% in 2023, alongside a marked increase in criminal associations from 20.3% to 39.9%. Treatment options were addressed in only 18.5% of the articles.Despite some positive developments, the reporting still reflects stigmatizing tendencies. In the context of a depressive episode, increased appetite led to refeeding syndrome with consecutive Wernicke encephalopathy following previous food deprivation due to anorexia. The pathophysiology is based on increased thiamine consumption during a sudden transition to an anabolic metabolic state. Wernicke's encephalopathy should be considered even in cases of nonspecific symptoms associated with any type of malnutrition, especially since the encephalopathy can be triggered by refeeding syndrome. How did this affect the experience of patients and staff members, and what can we learn about the functioning of the therapeutic environment?Qualitative content analysis of 37 guideline based interviews with patients (n=19) and staff (n=18) of a psychosomatic university clinic.The restrictions of the therapeutic environment is experienced as an additional burden.
