After a field test, qualitative interviews were conducted with the evaluators.All 24 indicators originally developed were classified as significant, 18 of them as scientific. Of these, 9 (by experts) and 8 (by evaluators) were rated as practicable. Indicators on delirium prevention, age-specific groups and liberty-depriving measures were rated as non-scientific. This study used network analysis to examine associations between the six ACT flexibility processes and mental health-related quality of life.The study included 157 psychiatric patients. A baseline and a change-score network were estimated using the R package \"bootnet.\"The processes Values and Defusion showed high centrality in both networks; Defusion was also most strongly associated with mental health-related quality of life.The strong link between Defusion and mental health-related quality of life in both networks suggests that processes closely related to mental health at the beginning of treatment may also be relevant for change over time. His medical records from the Altscherbitz Provincial Asylum for the Insane in Schkeuditz near Leipzig, where he spent a total of twelve months between 1895 and 1897, now made accessible here, provide new insight into the nature and extent of his illness, as well as into the inner workings of this institution, which was considered internationally exemplary at the time. After his release from Altscherbitz in 1898, a dispute erupted between Schlaf and the poet Arno Holz (1863-1929) over the authorship of a jointly written work. Holz publicly exposed Schlaf's \"mental illness\" in an attempt to discredit him. A Scoping Review].","authors":"Isabel Dominique Hoelscher, Markus Witzmann, Gabriele Christine Koller, Oliver Pogarell","doi":"10.1055/a-2737-6041","DOIUrl":"10.1055/a-2737-6041","url":null,"abstract":"<p><p>This scoping review examines the effects of medical and vocational psychiatric rehabilitation on resilience, self-stigmatization, and quality of life in adults.Scoping review following JBI guidelines with searches in PubMed, PubPsych, and REHABDATA, plus supplementary searches.From n=1.247 titles, n=38 studies were included, of which n=36 (94,74%) address vocational rehabilitation services and n=16 (42,11%) medical ones. Resilience is strengthened through relationship building and shared decision-making. In Germany as well as in Leipzig, psychiatric care was dominated by the imbalance between asylum and university psychiatry, characterized by hierarchy, a lack of cooperation, and separated areas of responsibility. In contrast, there existed an independent and poorly developed extramural care system. Starting in 1974, the Leipzig reform group reorganized the city&apos;s mental health care system based on the sector model, aiming to establish a community-based, low-barrier, and less hierarchical psychiatry. Sectorization meant introducing a territorial obligation to provide inpatient care and a reorganization of outpatient and inpatient structures. This study aims to validate a modified version of the Suicidal Ideation and Behavior Scale (SIBS), focusing on a one-week survey period (SIBS-7d).The SIBS-7d was tested on N=139 patients (41.7% female; age in years M=40.2, SD=15.8) with regard to its psychometric properties. Participants were interviewed within seven days of inpatient admission.A confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the expected one-dimensional structure. The internal consistency was excellent.
