As well as in delivering subject matter, more teachers apply teaching methods that are monotonous and less varied. As a result students become less active and only accept what is given by the teacher and do the assignment in accordance with what is asked by the teacher. Therefore, teachers need to find better learning methods so that the learning process that is endeavored can improve student learning outcomes, one of which is the EPA method. The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes through the EPA method. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) which takes place in three cycles. This study uses the EPA method (Exploration, Introduction and Application of concept). Data collection techniques used were tests and observation. Data analysis techniques using qualitative analysis. Based on the results of the study showed an increase in mastery learning from the average value of students in the first cycle of 70,51 with a percantage of 74,28% and the average value in the second cycle of 73,82 with a percentage of 80% and the average value in the third cycle of 80,05 with percentage of 88,57%. This type of research is classroom action research. The approach taken is a qualitative approach. The results showed a change in students abilities for the better. In the pre-cycle activities there are still many students who don’t understand the purpose of the worth fractions. After being given dominoes media and sample, capacity building is shown in learning cycle one. Four children from all students have started to be able to determine the worth fractions. This was repeated even experienced an increase in learning cycle two. Nearly three-fourths of the students in 4th grade are able to determine worth fractions, while the rest reach the KKM limit. One of the causes of this condition is still a lack of understanding of the two-digit multiplication concept and the procedure for working on it. In line with this, the existence of this study is expected to overcome the low ability to calculate multiplication operations of students by applying the lattice method. The aim of this study is describe of using the lattice method in overcoming the low ability to calculate multiplication operations. This research is a qualitative study. The stages in this study are divided into several treatments, where each treatment students get treatment from the introduction of the lattice method to use the advanced lattice method. The results of this study show that students are very interested in the new methods they know. They were able to complete independently the multiplication operation after going through four treatments that had been given. This article aims to identify various combinations of visual, audio, and kinesthetic learning styles that exist in class VIII of SMP Negeri 1 Arjasa Jember. This research is a descriptive study whose data was obtained through questionnaire collection which was distributed to 58 students of class VIIIA and VIIIB. The subjects in this study were VII grade students at MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Malang and 6 selected students with categories 2 high, 2 medium, and 2 low from the results of social arithmetic tests that had been done. The method used in this study is a qualitative research approach. The research subjects were two students from class IX-1 and IX-6 each representing students from homogeneous and heterogeneous classes, as well as two math teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Batu who each taught in homogeneous and heterogeneous classes . Analysis of the data used in this study is analysis of observations, questionnaire results and interview transcripts. Based on the results of the research, it was found that the problem of mathematics learning in SMP Muhammadiyah 8 Batu is 1) poor mathematical mastery; 2) learning motivation that is not good; 3) the use of instructional media and 4) the application of learning methods. This research is a qualitative research with ethnographic approach. The results of research in the form of mathematical ideas which are found based on the physical form of Reyog Tulungagung art elements, including: (1) mathematical ideas in gong, namely circles, arcing curved spaces, volumes of rotating objects, and symmetry; (2) mathematical ideas on the selompret, namely construct curved side spaces, rotating objects volume, and symmetry; (3) mathematical ideas on kenong namely circles, build curved side spaces, and rotary object volumes; (4) mathematical ideas on iker namely lines, circumference of circles, and symmetry; (5) mathematical ideas on dhodhog, that are circles, arcing curves, volume of rotating objects, triangles, and one-to-one correspondence; (6) mathematical ideas on goseng namely counting and arithmetic (addition and multiplication). At this writing Cox Regression Analysis will be taken as an example of parameter estimation by the classical statistical approach Survival Analysis and Bayesian statistical approach as an example of global (Bayesian). Survival Bayesial parameter estimation using MCMC algorithms for model complex / complicated and difficult to resolve while the Cox regression models using the method of partial likelihood.
