As the number of people connecting to the internet increases, it is expected that communication will produce mountains of data. Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) are now used by IoT to collect, monitor, and transmit data and confidential information through wireless networks using sensor nodes. There are numerous challenges that WSNs encounter caused by attackers with unauthorized access and data security. Especially in the context of IoT, where small embedded devices such as sensor nodes with poor computational capabilities are expected to connect to a larger network. Thus, WSNs are prone to a variety of attacks. Furthermore, implementing security is time-consuming and selective, as traditional security algorithms degrade the security of data in transits due to computational complexity and inherent delays experienced during algorithm execution. A tie-up occurs when the number of vehicles on the road exceeds the capacity of the road. Within the urban cities of Egypt, the holdup is also a serious problem, which is caused when demand exceeds the available road capacity. Building highways and other physical infrastructure isn't the only way to control traffic flow. It's more of a combination of such appropriate infrastructure and the extraction of new ways of thinking and the application of new technologies. As known, the problems of traffic congestion in Egypt lead to dangerous accidents, slower traffic, high fuel consumption while idling and waiting, and without giving enough space for the passage of emergency vehicles such as ambulances and firefighters. It offers high-speed computing, storage, and ICT resources on demand. One of the significant challenges in cloud computing is the impact of impatient users or request (task) reneging. When a request has been compromised, missed its execution deadline, or depends on other rejected ones, it must be removed from the queue without being processed. The reneging or removal of tasks from queues may trigger the reneging or removal of other tasks that depend of them. We refer to this reneging of requests from the load balancing or computing queues as correlated reneging. We presented the performance analysis of a network of queues that constitute a queueing model of a simplified cloud computing infrastructure. We show the relationship between the load, delay, and probability of buffer saturation (blocking probability). The range of driving simulators varies from simple desktop racks or virtual reality based setups to highly dynamic driving simulators with a full motion system. A key aspect of driving simulators is the degree of immersion of the user. A realistic visualization is therefore a crucial task. In this paper, an efficient and automated approach to create 3D virtual environments from various data sources is presented. Available sources such as OpenStreetMap [18], existing OpenDrive [10] maps, CityGML [19] and digital terrain models [20] are taken into account. These sources are then fused together and information is corrected based on existing norms and regulations. Finally, information is enriched and procedural algorithms are deployed to create a realistic 3D environment. The approach is presented independently from the underlying engine. However, for our evaluation we utilized the well known games engine Unity [16]. The localization could be distributed indoors and outdoors for three or more dimensions based on the required applications. For two-dimensional positioning, mathe-matically, at least three anchor nodes with known positions to locate a target are needed. The first two anchor nodes are utilized to compute the mobile position but with its ambiguous position. Then, the third node is used to eliminate the ambiguous position. This work presents an algorithm to eliminate the ambiguous position without using the third node by creating a criterion to select the correct position. The developed approach could be implemented in indoor or outdoor environments with specific constraints to eliminate the ambiguous position. With these constraints, the target position should be obtained in a perfect situation. The proposed approach is proven mathematically and evaluated using simulation experiments by MatLab and actual experiments using Ultra Wide Band (UWB) technology in the line-of-sight and non-line-of-sight conditions. Goals 10 and 16 are aimed at reducing inequalities, encouraging awareness, and building diverse societies. Many organizations have embarked on the journey of finding ways to explore sustainable development issues and identify ways to resolve them. This is particularly true of Higher Education Institutions which often focus on traditional theoretical foundations. In this paper, the fields of ICT and Engineering within the Faculty of ICT's Work Integrated Learning (WIL) curriculum at a Higher education Institution (HEI) were explored. Using an Agile approach, the learners were tasked to develop a solution for children belonging to the Down Syndrome Association as part of a community engagement initiative. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with the learners at an HEI in Johannesburg, South Africa and the interview transcripts were analysed. These two parameters can be easily measured individually by using a weighing balance to measure weight and the water displacement method (WDM) to measure volume. However, these two methods are not suitable to apply in industries since both methods require a lot of time to obtain the final output. Therefore, a new approach is needed. The main objective of this work is to develop a contactless system based on computer vision system that can estimate the volume and weight of apples by using the width and height via 2D image captured. The camera needs to calibrate in order to get the ratio of pixel/cm by using the checkerboard point detection technique. Mask regional convolution neural network (R-CNN) was used to detect and segment apple images while providing the height and width of apples. The system was tested with four different settings, with 20cm and 30cm distance, and two different camera models. The best estimation of the volume and weight of apples obtained were with errors of 11.97 % and 11.49 % respectively. However, there is great complexity in the design and verification process for the development of telepresence robots because they integrate several interconnected systems. A computer simulation can provide an essential virtual test space that allows understanding the operation of these robots in a safer and more efficient way. The motivation for this study is the lack of computer simulations in the literature that integrate all the systems that are part of telepresence robots. Therefore, the main contribution of this paper is to propose a telepresence robot simulation program developed using the ROS2 (Robot Operating System 2) and Unity platforms, integrating the navigation, localization and telecommunication systems that are part of these robots and to provide any user with a tool to test these robots during the design process. The simulation can be viewed and controlled through a web browser tab. The implementation of ROS2 and Unity proved to be useful to add custom visualizations. The major element of Energy harvesting circuits is the rectifier. It works on converting RF energy found in available sources to DC power. This paper introduces an efficient multi-stage Cockcroft voltage multiplier design. The efficiency of the proposed design is investigated by varying the number of stages from 2 to 7-stages and examining different load resistance and three Schottky diode models (e.g., HSMS2822, HSMS285C and HSMS2852). Simulation results are obtained for all the circuits using Advanced Design System (ADS) 2019. This study highlights the specific input power range -20 dBm to 30 dBm with targeting frequency 2.45 GHz.
