Hence, image compression is among the procedures of preserving the system resources. In this paper, we propose a new lossless compression technique based on hierarchical segmentation, namely hierarchi-callossless segmentation (HLS). The principle of HLS works with bilevel images on hierarchical segmentation until homogeneous segments are obtained. The homogeneous segments are then encoded by an efficient interference-limiting constellation in which each symbol assembles two bits. From the compression performance perspective, findings illustrate that the proposed HLS outperforms the existing work with compression gain up to 6%. From the compression time perspective, HLS introduces moderate computational time among the comparable approaches. Images, that meet the smoothness criterion, highlight the compression and computational efficiencies of our proposal.","PeriodicalId":202568,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Electrical, Computer, Communications and Mechatronics Engineering (ICECCME)","volume":"75 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114842113","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

We consider the high number of satellites in these recently installed systems, which can interfere with the optical link by forming a reflective surface. We determine the amount of interference, which with the current minimal satellite number is minor, but with the development of complete systems, it can already cause a relevant disturbance. We have limited our calculations to the 900 - 1550nm optical communication bands. Our article presents the Earth-Mars long-distance connection, assuming the transmitter is oe Earth.","PeriodicalId":202568,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Electrical, Computer, Communications and Mechatronics Engineering (ICECCME)","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116843357","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In particular, we propose a framework for further discussion, focusing on the significance of social prescriptions in assisting minority citizens who are isolated in society. We go on to investigate how immigrants can be integrated into the social networks of their communities to help them build mutual understanding and common understanding with other citizens. The study examines whether the transmission and sharing of experiences, knowledge and information through digital narratives using digital devices and the fostering of mutual understanding and mutual respect by the implementation of effective social prescriptions can help to support minorities.","PeriodicalId":202568,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Electrical, Computer, Communications and Mechatronics Engineering (ICECCME)","volume":"180 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125823437","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Aerators have a very important role in increasing dissolved oxygen (DO). But require large operational costs, especially in terms of electric power consumption. This research aims to provide an analysis of the design, prototyping, and experimental of a paddle wheel type aerator to determine the effect, phenomenon, and performance of dissolved oxygen (DO) and the resulting electric power consumption with differences in the number of blades (4, 6 and 8) and the number of holes (12, 16 and 20). The research model chart consists of design, prototyping, and experimental. The results of research with variations in the number of blades and holes can affect the value of dissolved oxygen concentration (DO) and the electric power consumption that will be generated. In the variation of the number of holes, the concentration of dissolved oxygen (DO) produced fluctuates. Meanwhile, the level of electricity consumption produced is inversely proportional to the value of electric power consumption. In the variation of the number of blades, the concentration of dissolved oxygen (DO) produced is directly proportional to the number of blades. While the level of electricity consumption generated is directly proportional to the value of electric power consumption. Aerators with a number of blades of 6 holes 16 and aerators with a number of blades 8 holes 16 are recommendations in the prototype aerators that are effective and efficient in producing an optimal level of DO concentration and saving electric power consumption.","PeriodicalId":202568,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Electrical, Computer, Communications and Mechatronics Engineering (ICECCME)","volume":"373 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124666706","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Traffic routing and forwarding have scalability issues because of the gigantic number of Name-based prefixes. To address these issues, this paper proposes a new scheme for global routing optimization. This optimization is achieved by: 1) implementing a Peer Name Provider (PNP), 2) globally advertising PNP names and peer's names (PNAME) instead of content names, and 3) utilizing the NDN's Interest ForwardingHint to hold the producer's PNAME. The proposed scheme is implemented and tested in N-BGP, an interdomain routing protocol for routing NDN names and IP prefixes, using the Mininet emulator. The results show that the proposed scheme enhances the N-BGP scalability performance in terms of exchanged messages, and memory utilization.","PeriodicalId":202568,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Electrical, Computer, Communications and Mechatronics Engineering (ICECCME)","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128176509","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Pyrolysis of biomass produces three main products: biooils, biogas and biochar. Depending on the process conditions, they appear in different proportions. High biochar yield will be achieved if low temperature and low heating rate are carried out. One of the main disadvantages of pyrolysis is the formation of dioxins and furans which are very toxic. Their formation also depends on the conditions of the process. In this paper, the aim is to optimize the conditions of the pyrolysis process in laboratory scale in order to achieve the maximum yield of biochar and the minimal production of dioxins and furans. For this purpose, oak sawdust was used as biomass. Oak sawdust was previously characterized by ICP-MS and CHNS analyzes and its calorific value was determined. Pyrolysis processes were performed at three temperatures: 350, 550 and 750 0. The yields of the main products were measured gravimetrically, while the main gaseous by-products of pyrolysis were measured by GC-MS technique. From the obtained results, it can be concluded that the highest yield of biochar is at the lowest temperature; with lowest yield of syn-gas. Unlike the lowest temperature, at the highest temperature, almost no biochar is formed with almost 90 % of produced syn-gas and in that case GC- MS analysis shows that there are less unwanted by-products.","PeriodicalId":202568,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Electrical, Computer, Communications and Mechatronics Engineering (ICECCME)","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127281336","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result, more automated production machines are required to meet market demands. Unfortunately, most machine screen activities still need humans to control manually, and most of the operations are simple and repeated. The human eye must constantly assess the production situation and control the keyboard and mouse to operate machinery to do excessively repetitive tasks. We proposed a smart automated agent operating system called “iScript” to upgrade the old machine to a more automated machine. “iScript” is a software solution that uses image recognition techniques to automate agent operation by automatically controlling the keyboard and mouse to perform agent operations using preset scripts. The agent operation system is also integrated with a modular software design. The essential modules include the Steps Control Module (SCM), Function Plug-in Module (FPM), Variable Module (VM), Condition Control Module (CCM), and Operator Control Module (OCM). The modular design makes the script setting highly expandable. It can set customized scripts for varied purposes and applications dynamically, making production process management more accessible and efficient and accomplishing many tiresome tasks necessary for industrial automation upgrades. The proposed smart automatic agent operating system has been applied to several industrial applications, and the cases of application are shared in this research.","PeriodicalId":202568,"journal":{"name":"2022 International Conference on Electrical, Computer, Communications and Mechatronics Engineering (ICECCME)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-11-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125670339","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
