Perlakuan pemberian 2% memberikan dampak yang paling optimal terhadap kualitas fisik maggot. Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the physical quality of fermented maggots using Saccharomyces cerevisia. The physical qualities include pH, odor, color and texture of maggot after fermentation. The research method used is experimental using a completely randomized design (CRD). The results showed that the average pH from the highest was the level of administration of 0% (7.75±0.50), the level of administration of 0.5% (7.50±0.58), the level of administration of 1% (7.50± 0.58), the administration level was 1.5% (7.25±0.50) and the administration level was 2% (6.00±0.82). The average texture from the lowest is the level of giving 0% (2.81±0.01), the level of giving 0.5% (3.00±0.01), the level of giving 1% (3.16±0.04 ), the administration level was 1.5% (3.40±0.01) and the administration level was 2% (3.52±0.02). The average smell of maggot after fermentation was from the lowest, namely the level of administration of 0.5% (1.88±0.01), the level of administration of 0% (2.89±0.02), the level of administration of 1% (2.94± 0.07), the administration level was 1.5% (3.07±0.02) and the administration level was 2% (3.29±0.01). While the average for the maggot color is the level of giving 0% (1.72±0.03), the level of giving 0.5% (1.79±0.09), the level of giving 1% (1.87±0, 07), the administration level was 1.5% (2.02±0.13) and the administration level was 2% (2.33±0.39). The conclusion was that the level of administration of Saccharomyces cerevisia had a significantly different impact on the physical quality of maggot which included pH, odor, texture and color. This research took place at the Bukit Limestone laying hens farm which is located in Talun, Blitar Regency, East Java. The sample of this study was randomly selected from each cage with the number of each cage being 30 test samples. Blood samples were taken through the brachial vein which is located on the inside of the chicken wing. Titer examination was carried out using the HI test (Hemagglutation inhibition) serological test method at the serological test laboratory of PT Akurat Diagnostik Indonesia. Based on this comparative descriptive research, the method used to analyze the data is the Mann-Whitney test and using SPSS. In closed house cages, the average AI antibody titer is 24.03 while in open house cages, the average AI antibody titer is 25.30. Chickens with an average antibody titer of > 24 were classified as protective against Avian Influenza. The study was carried out experimentally with a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 6 treatments and 3 replications. Each replication consisted of 3 eggs as an experimental unit with immersion for 15 minutes with a storage time of 14 days using room temperature, for each treatment and replication using a volume of 500 ml of water. Data from observations (observations) were analyzed using analysis of variance at a 5% significance level and continued with the Least Significant Difference (BNT) test (Steel and Torrie, 2013). The observed variable was the egg white index, which was the ratio of thick egg white (albumen) height (mm) to the average diameter (mm). The tool used to measure the egg white index is a caliper and the Egg Yolk Index (IKT) is the ratio of the height of the yolk (mm) to the width of the yolk (mm). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the effect of storage time for cracked eggs on the quality of broiler eggs with the salt solution immersion method gave results that were not significantly different (P>0.05) on the egg white index and egg yolk index. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 08 September 2021 – tanggal 08 Desember 2021 di Kandang Bapak Amiril Mukmin. Di Desa Tanjungsari, Kecamatan Karangrejo, Kabupaten Tulungagung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimental (percobaan lapang) dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan, perlakuan dengan pembatasan pakan sebanyak P1: Pakan komersial 18 g/ekor/hari, P2: Pakan komersial 20 g/ekor/hari, P3: pakan komersial 22 g/ekor/hari, P4: Pakan komersial 24 g/ekor/hari, P5: Pakan komersial 26 g/ekor/hari dan P6: Pakan komersial 28 g/ekor/hari. Jika terjadi perbedaan yang nyata antar perlakuan, maka akan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan’s. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembatasan pakan pada puyuh petelur berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap produsi telur fase awal produksi. Nilai rataan QDP (%) P1=33,42, P2=44,52, P3=55,28, P4=65,95, P5=68,56, P6=70,52. Nilai rataan bobot telur (g/butir) P1=10,00, P2=10,12, P3=10,66, P4=10,74, P5=10,80, P6= 10,94. Nilai rataan massa telur (g/ekor/hari) P1=3,39, P2=4,60, P3=6,00, P4= 7,27, P5=7,53, P6=7,88. Hasil ini bisa disimpulkan bahwa pembatasan pakan pada P2 sebanyak 20 g/ekor/hari menghasilkan QDP (44,52%), bobot telur (10,12 g/butir) dan massa telur (4,60 g/ekor/hari). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kadar eugenol dalam pakan terhadap nilai kecernaan nutrien ransum pada ayam pedaging. Eugenol yang digunakan diekstraksi dari bahan daun cengkeh yang diperoleh dari kebun petani di Sulawesi Tengah. Pengujian kecernaan nutrisi pakan dilakukan di Kandang percobaan Fakultas Peternakan dan Perikanan Universitas Tadulako. Analisa kandungan bahan kering, protein kasar dan gross energi ransum dan ekskreta dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Kimia Makanan Ternak Universitas Hasanuddin Makassar. Percobaan studi kecernaan nutrisi pakan dilakukan dengan menggunakan 25 ekor ayam pedaging (broiler) umur 6 minggu dengan bobot badan berkisar 1,97 ± 0,092 kg. Pada percobaan ini ditambahkan eugenol pada ransum basal dengan 5 perlakuan yaitu: E0 = ransum basal + 0% eugenol; E1 = ransum basal + 0,5% eugenol; E2 = ransum basal + 1% eugenol; E3 = ransum basal + 1,5% eugenol; E4 = ransum basal + 2% eugenol. Variabel yang diamati adalah nilai kecernaan protein, bahan kering dan energi metabolis. Sifat tersebut mempengaruhi performans yang berkaitan dengan kemampuan produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi fenotipe dan faktor yang mempengaruhi perdagangan kambing Jawarandu yang dipelihara dan dipasarkan oleh pedagang ternak di Kota Samarinda, Kalimantan Timur. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Desember 2020 - Maret 2021 di pedagang ternak Kota Samarinda. Penelitian menggunakan kambing Jawarandu jantan umur 8 sampai 24 bulan. Metode penelitian dan analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis dan analisis keragaman. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh rataan sifat kuantitatif kambing Jawarandu di kota Samarinda diperoleh nilai rataan dan SD dari Panjang badan, Lingkar dada dan Tinggi pundak (cm) secara berurutan yaitu 63,16±6,14; 70,87±6,48; 69,20±6,24. Keragaman sifat kualitatif kambing Jawarandu di kota Samarinda memiliki warna bulu dominan ditemukan yaitu campuran coklat putih (34,69%). Profil muka kambing yang dominan ditemukan yaitu cembung 100%, dengan bentuk telinga menjuntai ke bawah dan tidak terlipat 100%. Faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas perdagangan kambing Jawarandu di Kota Samarinda dipengaruhi oleh jenis bangsa kambing, jenis kelamin, umur kambing, asal kambing, dan berdasarkan biaya (cost-based pricing). Penelitian dilaksanakan pada KKP Suluh Obor, desa Mandeu, kecamatan Raimanuk, kabupaten Belu propinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur. Menggunakan metode observasional dan pengamatan lapangan. Sampel diambil secara purposive sampling dengan kriteria: induk laktasi/pernah laktasi, berumur 5-8 tahun sebanyak 3 ekor. Data diperoleh dari pengukuran terhadap status fisiologi ternak (pulsus, respirasi dan suhu rektal) sapi FH. Pengukuran dilakukan sebanyak 3 kali sehari pada jam 08.00 WITA; jam 12.00 WITA dan pada jam 16.00 WITA selama 30 hari sedangkan pengukuran produksi susu dilakukan dua kali per hari (pagi jam 05.00 WITA dan jam 16.00 WITA). Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya ditabulasi dan dianalisis deskriptif melalui pendekatan nilai rataan, koefisien keragaman dan standar deviasi. Untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lingkungan dengan status fisiologi ternak dilakukan uji korelasi, sedangkan pengujian tingkat produksi susu menggunakan uji T dengan software Minitab 17. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi lingkungan mikro pada lokasi pemeliharaan ternak sapi FH memiliki suhu lingkungan kandang berkisar antara 27,80-31,97°C dengan rata-rata 29,87°C; dan kelembaban udara berkisar antara 48,07-65,73% dengan rata-rata 55,73%. Untuk status fisiologis sapi perah FH yang dipelihara menampilkan kisaran nilai denyut nadi (pulsus): (61,27-65,02 kali/ menit), frekuensi respirasi: (25,54-30,64 kali/menit) dan suhu rektal: (37,49-38,00°C). Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 10 ekor sapi Peranakan Ongole dengan usia rata rata lima sampai sepuluh tahun. Variabel yang diamati adalah lingkar skrotum, panjang skrotum, konsentrasi sperma, motilitas sperma ,dan viabilitas sperma. Data analisis menggunakan korelasi dan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Thirty six does aged 6-12 months, divided into three blocks, of four treatment diets, were used in our replicity. The diet treatments used bamboo leaf meal: 0% (P0), 2% (P1), 4% (P2), and 6% (P3). The parameters observed were: dry matter intake, doe’s milk production, kits mortality, and kit as level: body weight gain.
