The research was carried out in Pakunden Village, Sukorejo District, Blitar City, East Java for one month in June. The materials used are potato skins which can be obtained from the potato crusher in the Pakunden area, EM4, molasses, pollard. The method used in this study was an experiment based on a completely randomized design consisting of five treatments and four replications and continued with Duncan's Multiple test. The results of this study showed the average pH of P0 (4,22 ± 0,12), P1 (4,05 ± 0,05 P2 (4,00 ± 0,08), P3 (4,02 ± 0,28), P4 (4,10 ± 0,08), then from the variable presence of fungi there was no presence of fungi in each treatment. From the results of the organoleptic test, the color P0 (3,14 ± 0,16), P1 (2,96 ± 0,13), P2 (2,95 ± 0,06), P3 (2,95 ± 0,15), P4 (2,89 ± 0,08), of the odor variable P0 (3,11 ± 0,06), P1 (3,12 ± 0,03), P2 (3,03 ± 0,03), P3 (3,05 ± 0,05), P4 (3,10 ± 0,05), of the texture P0 (4,00 ± 0), P1 (3,92 ± 0,03), P2 (3,87 ± 0,08), P3 (3,85 ± 0,08), P4 (3,88 ± 0,10). From the research data, it can be concluded that the duration of fermentation has no effect on color, odor, texture, pH, and fungus (P> 0.05). This is due to the low content of WSC (water soluble carbohydrates) and LAB (Lactic Acid Bacteria) so that the ensilase process runs slowly. The pH of silage at a shelf life of 28 days showed the number 4.1 which indicated that the silage process was running well.","PeriodicalId":202468,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Ilmiah Fillia Cendekia","volume":"69 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-11-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"139282520","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Complete feed based on sugarcane shoots and gamal contains 12.42% crude protein (F 0 ), higher than only sugarcane shoots (5.24%). Fermentation for 7 days produced complete feed with good texture and color, fresh sour and no mold was found. A decrease in chemical composition was found in complete feed with a fermentation time of 21 days although was not significants (P>0.05). Crude protein levels at F 14 and F 21 respectively 11.72% and 11.30% were lower than F 0 . Dari tahun ke tahun, populasi ayam broiler mengalami peningkatan. Sedangkan pertambahan populasi penduduk di Indonesia menyebabkan semakin sempitnya lahan untuk beternak, sehingga diperlukan inovasi perkandangan broiler di wilayah lahan terbatas, namun tidak menurunkan produktifitas ayam. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan observasi ke lokasi peternakan yang telah menerapkan inovasi sistem perkandangan di lahan terbatas. Parameter yang diamati dalam observasi ini adalah topografi dan kondisi lingkungan areal kandang, konstruksi kandang, manajemen kondisi di dalam kandang dan produktifitas ayam. Hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa kandang broiler tersebut menerapkan sistem semi closed-house bertingkat dengan tipe lantai gabungan postal – slatt (postal panggung bertingkat). Sistem perkandangan ini terbukti dapat memberikan kenyamanan (comfort zone) bagi ayam dan menciptakan micro-climate (iklim mikro) yang ideal di dalam kandang, sehingga produktifitas ayam terjaga dengan baik.","PeriodicalId":202468,"journal":{"name":"Jurnal Ilmiah Fillia Cendekia","volume":"26 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-09","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115058994","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Therefore a silage storage technique is needed to preserve and reduce environmental pollution. The process of preserving high-protein feed by silage has a weakness in the process of lowering the pH. This happens because the ammonia from the deamination process is alkaline . The silage processing can converting some nutrients into organic acids which can improve livestock health and production. The Complete feed silage which was supplemented with tofu dregs was carried out on thin-tailed local rams aged 8-10 months and body weight 16-18 kg. The rams were grouped to 4 groups. The first gorup was P0 = complete feed which was suplemented with tofu dregs without silage processing compared to P1 = P0 + silage processing which was fermented for at least 14 days. The data then analyzed using t-independent method in a randomized block design on the basis of body weight. The results of the study showed that the average dry matter consumption of livestock was not significantly different P>0.1, the increase in monthly weight was higher in group P1 with a P value <0.05, the silage process increased the efficiency of p<0.05.
