{"title":"Teacher's Strategy in Overcoming Students' Moral Decadence through Character Education","authors":"Siti Arifatur Rohmah, Eka Diana","doi":"10.29407/jsp.v6i1.232","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.29407/jsp.v6i1.232","url":null,"abstract":"This research was conducted based on obtaining a description of the teacher's strategy in overcoming the moral decadence of students through character education and obstacles in its implementation with the locus of MTs Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo. The research method uses descriptive qualitative to get a detailed and credible picture of the teacher's strategy in overcoming the phenomenon of student moral decadence. The main subjects of the research include the principal, the student affairs department, class teachers, and several students as part of the research sample. Data were collected using participant observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The Miles-Huberman interactive model was used as the data analysis procedure, which includes data collection, data presentation, data reduction, and conclusion drawing. The research analysis results show that efforts to overcome moral decadence carried out through character education by teachers with habituation, learning integration, and school culture application. Efforts to implement character education are not limited to being carried out by principals and teachers, but also all school components ranging from educational parts, environment, family, and pesantren. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) menggunakan pembelajaran Kooperatif Jigsaw. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah siklus I diperoleh presentase ketuntasan belajar 62,5% dan skor nilai ketuntasan kelas 58,8% dengan nilai terendah 50 dan nilai terbaik 80. Pada siklus II diperoleh presentase ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 100% dan skor nilai ketuntasan kelas 90,3% dengan nilai terendah 70 dan nilai 90. Sehingga nilai tersebut sudah memenuhi indikator keberhasilan. Kemudian aktivitas belajar Seni Budaya siswa melalui Pembelajaran Kooperatif Jigsaw di kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan pada siklus I sebesar 62,9%, sedangkan pada siklus II sebesar 76,8%. Sedangkan aktivitas guru pada siklus I sebesar 76%, sedangkan pada siklus II sebesar 86%. The students are expected to be able to master those four language skills. Improving productive skills is the most important in teaching English. One of the productive skills that have to be improved is writing. However, in practical level, a lot of students have difficulties in writing English texts. Therefore, this research aims to analyze students’ difficulties in writing recount text at the 8th students SMP 15 Kota Serang. The method used in this research was qualitative method which used some instruments like documents, questionnaires, and interview. Based on the result of the research, the most difficult aspects of writing recount encountered by the students were in term of grammar, and then followed by the use of verb, capitalization, the use of to be, punctuation, spelling, preposition, and vocabulary. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental Design dengan desain penelitian yaitu nonequivalent control group design. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Kelas kontrol akan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional sedangkan kelas eksperimen menggunakan model pembelajaran discovery learning. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VII SMP Satrya Budi yang masing-masing kelas terdiri 20 orang siswa. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar siswa yang berupa pretest dan postest untuk mengukur pemahaman konsep siswa pada ranah kognitif. Tujuan penelitian yang hendak diperoleh adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan berbicara dan hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia materi menyampaikan informasi siswa kelas 6 SDN 2 Sumberanyar kecamatan Jatibanteng penerapkan metode cerita berantai. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan (action research) sebanyak dua putaran. Setiap putaran terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu rancangan, kegiatan, pengamatan, refleksi dan revisi. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 6 SDN 2 Sumberanyar Kecamatan Jatibanteng Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Data yang diperoleh berupa hasil tes formatif, lembar observasi kegiatan belajar mengajar. Dari hasl analisis didapatkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus I sampai siklus II yaitu, siklus I (57,14%), siklus II (100 %). Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Responden adalah mahasiswa program studi PG PAUD sebanyak 28 mahasiswa yang terdiri dari 10 responden berasal dari angkatan 2020/2021 dan sebanyak 18 berasal dari angkatan 2021/2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 96% mengetahui dan pernah mendengar akan adanya kebijakan MBKM, akan tetapi hanya 11% yang mengetahui kebijakan program secara keseluruhan, dan hanya 4% yang tidak mengetahui sama sekali. Minat mahasiswa mengikuti kegiatan MBKM sebanyak 89% sedangkan program pertukaran mahasiswa merdeka dan kampus mengajar yang menjadi kegiatan yang paling banyak diminati mahasiswa. Kemampuan ini merupakan salah satu keterampilan penting bagi siswa dalam memecahkan masalah dan membuat keputusan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengidentifikasi publikasi yang berkaitan dengan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran ekonomi dan mendeskripsikan karakteristik penelitian ini. Metode Analisis bibliometrik digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah publikasi terkait berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran ekonomi meningkat setiap tahunnya dari tahun 2019 hingga tahun 2023. Sementara itu, jumlah dokumen terbanyak berasal dari Indonesia. OSF Preprints memegang posisi teratas sebagai lembaga atau penerbit dengan 14 dokumen terbanyak, sedangkan penulis dengan sitasi terbanyak adalah Abbas dengan 17 sitasi, diikuti oleh Aslamiah dengan 17 sitasi dan Fitriyah dengan 10 sitasi. Tema baru yang muncul dalam bidang ini adalah \"pembelajaran\", \"application\", dan \"development\". So that made us conduct research that aims to find out what forms of physical bullying behavior are carried out by students, what are the strategies of PAI teachers in dealing with physical bullying behavior in students and want to know what are the obstacles and solutions in dealing with these problems. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research type. The subjects in this study were PAI teachers and their supporting informants were school principals, student assistants, counseling teachers, teachers, security guards and students. This study used data collection techniques by observation, interviews with informants and documentation. To check the validity of the data obtained, we use a triangulation technique by re-collecting data if there is unclear data. Based on the data obtained, the following research results were found, namely forms of bullying by children such as pushing a friend's body, kicking, hitting, pushing the head, and so on.
