In accordance, this study is aimed to examine the effective technique in teaching writing by comparing the two; think-talk-write (TTW) and fast writing techniques. This quantitative study was deployed in terms of quasi-experimental design. The data were collected through the test and conducted in one suburban junior high school in Indonesia involving 250 2 year students as the population and 46 sample students. In conclusion, the result statistically reveals that 82% students in TTW class reached the passing grade. Meanwhile, those who were taught under fastwriting were only 42%. Hence, think-talk-write is more effective than fastwriting technique. Therefore, the policy maker should explicitly state on the EFL curriculum that think-talk-write is the recommended technique applied by higher education level while fast writing is for lower education level.","PeriodicalId":199842,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Business, Law And Pedagogy, ICBLP 2019, 13-15 February 2019, Sidoarjo, Indonesia","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129003802","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, Structural Equation Modeling Generalized Structural Component Analysis (SEM-GSCA) will be used in the study to test the hypothesis of objective influence scientifically and also internally on the mission of the organization. MMT-ITS as postgraduate program in ITS-Surabaya has been selected as an example of an organization case to explore the effectiveness of outbound training programs in achieving organizational mission. The results of the analysis show that the objectives scientifically and internally from the outbound training activities will directly affect the achievement of the organization's mission. It was also found that the scientific objectives of outbound training activities can influence the mission statement of the organization better than the internal objectives of the outbound training activities.","PeriodicalId":199842,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Business, Law And Pedagogy, ICBLP 2019, 13-15 February 2019, Sidoarjo, Indonesia","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132396899","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nonetheless, there is no single program is held to address the issue of preeclampsia. To Analyze the effectiveness of the PRECOG program on the management of preeclampsia in Bojonegoro District. The research method is quantitative are represented by The Dander Health Center consisting of 9 villages and The Kepoh Baru 13 villages. The intervention was given to Dander health center by implementing the PRECOG program which consisted of guidance on early detection and recommendations through cadre training, and manipulation of maternity services according to PRECOG, while Kepoh Baru health center was a comparison. The sample are all pregnant women in amount 220 people in Dander and 100 people in Kepoh Baru with Total Sampling Technique. The effectiveness of PRECOG to handle pre eclampsia is measured by comparing risk factor screening, Detection and recommendation of two districts. There are significant differences in risk factor screening. The PRECOG guide shows that 68.75% with Diastolic BP of 80-89mmHg as a risk factor developing into a preeclampsia while without the PRECOG, it is not a risk factor, even though the diastolic BP is 80-89mmHg by 50%. The recommendation measured by Chisquare test with α 5% obtained sig.1.00, which means there is no difference in recommendation. The paper was exploring how education in Pesantrens remained to build up the potential of the human heart through the management of knowledge based on Islam. The research method of string studies is used to describe how the teaching of good that is theoretically given at school has been carried out and developed in the propagation of pesantren for centuries through the management of knowledge of the heart. Wisdom in the mind, word and deed are the objectives of the management based on spiritual values without bounds. Pesantren builds a sense of night, life, and humanity that in time clears the heart up as the mind control of humans who create, share, use and manage knowledge and information.","PeriodicalId":199842,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Business, Law And Pedagogy, ICBLP 2019, 13-15 February 2019, Sidoarjo, Indonesia","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133685546","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Empirical evidence suggested that most of them stagnated and never graduated into the segment of the medium even small-size enterprises, only a small minority of them graduated to the next size category. This research referred to this group as upgrades. It raised the question as to which factors determined the upgrading of MEs into higher scale. The target population of this study was MEs which graduated to small enterprise, operating in different lines of business. The sample size of this study was 209 enterprises. Responses of the subjects were collected through questionnaires. Structural Equation Model (SEM) was used for analysis. As a result, the main factors determined the upgrading of MEs was shaped by internal (i.e. financial literacy, operational training, accessibility to a financial institution) as well as external (i.e. policy, social environment, challenge) factors. SEM results showed that financial literacy and operational training were the most critical determinant to upgrade the scale level of MEs. Meanwhile, lack of accessibility to the financial institution could not stop them from surviving, since they financed by their capital. External factors also contributed significantly to the upgrading of MEs. Eventually, the research provided policy recommendations not only specific to develop microenterprise, but should further upgrade the size of micro size enterprises in operation, management and policy.","PeriodicalId":199842,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Business, Law And Pedagogy, ICBLP 2019, 13-15 February 2019, Sidoarjo, Indonesia","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-10-16","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116981238","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
