Flavonoids are valuable natural products with multiple biological activities such as estrogen, antioxidant, antibacterial and anticancer activities, and are widely used in food, medicine and other fields. However, the development and utilization of flavonoids is limited by problems such as low concentration and long cycle in obtaining them from plants. With the development of metabolic engineering technology and synthetic biology, the synthesis of flavonoids through microbial cell factories has good prospects. Based on microbial synthesis of flavonoids, this paper comprehensively reviews the research progress of some flavonoids synthesized in S. cerevisiae, summarizes and prospects the current difficulties and challenges as well as future research directions.","PeriodicalId":182292,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Biology and Life Sciences","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128033925","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It must be integrated with social, economic, political, and cultural constructions to build a beautiful China and reverse the continuously deteriorating ecological environment. This has nothing to do with people's well-being and the future of the nation is closely linked. At the same time, at the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China in 2019, General Secretary Xi Jinping once again proposed \"adhering to the harmonious coexistence between man and nature\", which shows that our understanding of natural environmental protection has deepened and our determination to strengthen the construction of ecological civilization has become firmer. In the new era, in order to promote the construction of ecological civilization, it is necessary to change the traditional animal husbandry model, vigorously develop ecological breeding, and implement the concept of green and sustainable development. The purpose of this article is to make a brief summary of ecological animal husbandry and make suggestions.","PeriodicalId":182292,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Biology and Life Sciences","volume":"73 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125862764","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Methods Analyze clinical data of patients undergoing radical prostatectomy (RP) in the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University from January 2017 to January 2021 retrospectively. Patients with localized prostate cancer undergoing NET+RP were selected as the experimental group. The ones who only received RP were chosen as the control group, and the peri- and post-operative outcomes such as down-staging, pathological complete response, positive margin, intraoperative blood loss, and operation time were compared between the two groups. In addition, collect the information of patients with bone metastatic prostate cancer, excluding organ metastases, who received NET+RP over the same time-period and analyzed the short-term efficacy and quality of life. Results In the experimental group, there were more down-staging (13.08% vs. 4.67%, P=0.031), more pathological complete response (12.15% vs. 0.93%, P=0.001), less positive margin (9.35% vs. 29.91%, P< 0.001) and less blood loss (171.45±16.19 vs. 177.76±23.28, P=0.022). NET+RP also showed a satisfying short-term efficacy in patients with bone metastases, with well quality of life. Conclusion NET combined with RP can provide good short-term prognosis and patient satisfaction in patients with prostate cancer, and it is a potential option for patients with bone metastases without organ metastases.","PeriodicalId":182292,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Biology and Life Sciences","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127978931","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The surface of the conductive hydrogel electrode film formed a three-dimensional porous structure, and the stacking of the PVA-coated MWCNTs formed a nanoscale micropore structure. However, the micropore network structure inside the electrode film was not obvious, which was the reason why the electrode film did not selectively catalyzed glucose. The elastic modulus of PtNPs/MWCNTs/PVA electrode film is consistent with that of PVA. Its modulus of elasticity is close to that of human tissue.","PeriodicalId":182292,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Biology and Life Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-20","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130444645","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

With the rapid development of modern technology and changes in social lifestyles, adolescents are generally facing risks to their visual health. This paper explores the social service model of youth vision protection through a review of existing literature and questionnaire analysis. Firstly this study aims to analyze and explore the current situation of prevention and control of youth and adolescent vision and the impact of social service models on it through theoretical studies of literature, with the aim of establishing a more complete vision protection system and improving the sustainability and effectiveness of social services for adolescent vision protection. In addition, this paper introduces the current social service model of youth vision protection, including services at school, family and community levels, and discusses the home-school-community linkage model and its construction method, and finally puts forward suggestions for the future social service model of youth vision protection. After the investigation and research, we found that youth vision protection is a complex social issue that requires the joint efforts of the whole society. Through social service models at different levels, comprehensive vision protection services can be provided to adolescents to promote their healthy growth. This study has some reference value for improving the quality of social services for vision protection and enhancing the intervention effects on adolescent vision protection.","PeriodicalId":182292,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Biology and Life Sciences","volume":"7 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-04-08","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132161814","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
