HHD is a rare disease that affects approximately one out of every 50,000 people. Clinically, it presents as blisters, fissures, erosions, and vegetations with significant pruritus or pain in skin folds or reversal areas of the skin. In the presence of heat, localized sweating, or exercise, patients with HHD may suffer repeated or worsened symptoms. Furthermore, concurrent bacterial, fungal, and viral infections may aggravate localized lesions. HHD may raise the likelihood of problems such as insomnia, anxiety, and depression. There are no treatment guidelines or large clinical trials for HHD. This could be attributed to the low prevalence of HHD. Although the pathogenesis of HHD is well understood, there are no specific or curative treatment options available. The majority of current treatment focuses on symptomatic relief. In this article, we will discuss the most recent advancements in HHD research.","PeriodicalId":182292,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Biology and Life Sciences","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-15","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114638268","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is also the regulator of glucose homeostasis and is responsible for 80% of postprandial glucose uptake from the circulation. Skeletal muscle is crucial to metabolism, both for its role in glucose uptake and for its importance in exercise and metabolic disease. In this article, we outline the importance of skeletal muscle in metabolism, describe its role in glucose uptake and the diseases associated with dysmetabolism of skeletal muscle. We focus on the role of skeletal muscle in peripheral insulin resistance and the potential of skeletal muscle-targeted therapies in combating insulin resistance and diabetes, as well as other metabolic diseases such as ageing and obesity. In particular, we outline the molecular mechanisms underlying the beneficial effects of exercise on metabolic diseases, including a focus on the TFEB nucleus, which is an important regulator of glucose transport to skeletal muscle. In this article, we give an overview to summarise and discuss the important role of TFEB in metabolic and adaptive responses during exercise.","PeriodicalId":182292,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Biology and Life Sciences","volume":"83 1 Pt 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-14","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133895405","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The process in risk assessment is hazard identification, hazard characterisation, exposure assessment and risk characterisation. As a means of hazard evaluation, microbiological risk assessment links food and risk factors, such as food-borne bacteria, through data to predict their hazards relatively accurately and reliably, thereby reducing their impact on public health. This study mainly introduces the scientific information about risk assessment and the quantitative microbiological risk assessment in the instant food,mainly to evaluate the level of Listeria in foods. There is growing evidence that ICD is capable of reshaping the tumor immune microenvironment through the release of danger signals or DAMPs, which may contribute to immunotherapy. Currently, identification of ICD-related biomarkers that allow patients to benefit from ICD immunotherapy would be of great help to classify patients. Here, we identified two subtypes associated with ICD by consensus clustering. high ICD subtypes were associated with good clinical outcome, immune cell infiltration and immune response signaling activity. In addition, we developed and validated an ICD-related prognostic model that predicted survival in HCC and correlated with the tumor immune microenvironment. In conclusion, we developed a new ICD subtype-based classification system for HCC. This classification has significant clinical outcomes for assessing prognosis and of immunotherapy of HCC patients.","PeriodicalId":182292,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Biology and Life Sciences","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-02-02","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130100050","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
