Traditional research methods for cervical spondylosis are limited by ethical and material constraints, but finite element models can effectively address these issues during the research process. In this paper, a finite element model of C0-C7 vertebrae was reconstructed based on CT scan data, and finite element models of intervertebral discs, ligaments, muscles, and other anatomical structures were added and combined. The reconstructed cervical spine finite element model is highly realistic in shape and has good similarity, making it suitable for cervical spondylosis research.","PeriodicalId":182292,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Biology and Life Sciences","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123715624","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The computer comprehensively searched PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, China Knowledge Network (CNKI), Chinese Biomedical Literature Database (CBM), Wanfang, and VIP databases for randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of bDMARDs and tsDMARDs in the treatment of RA. The search time limit was set from the establishment of the databases to February 18, 2023. The quality assessment of the included studies was performed using the Cochrane Collaboration’s tool, and the R software (version 4.1.3) calling the gemtc package (version 1.0-1) in conjunction with JAGS software was for data analysis. Efficacy outcomes included American College of Rheumatology 20%, 50%, 70% response (ACR20, ACR50, ACR70). The included 68 RCTs, totaling 32356 patients with RA were analyzed. There were 68, 64 and 63 studies reported the outcomes of ACR20, ACR50, and ACR70 respectively. The result showed that fifteen drugs all had significant difference compared with placebo. According to the SUCRA values, certolizumab pegol had the highest probability of becoming the best intervention in ACR20 and ACR50, and etanercept was ranked first in ACR70, followed by certolizumab pegol. In conclusion, bDMARDs and tsDMARDs were all effective in improving signs and symptoms in RA patients who had been treated with csDMARDs without adequate response. Certolizumab combined with csDMARDs had better performance on efficacy compared with other interventions.","PeriodicalId":182292,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Biology and Life Sciences","volume":"15 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-06-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"120947626","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

At the same time, the issue of aging is becoming increasingly serious, and rural elderly care has become an important issue that restricts rural development. Northern Shaanxi is located on the Loess Plateau. Through literature review and field research, this article analyzes the main elderly care models in Shenmu County and explores the social security system. Taking people as the core, this study proposes optimization measures for elderly care security. In addition to the support of the government and families, more attention should be paid to forming a community security system and implementing unified management based on the community as a unit, which helps to alleviate the contradiction between population and development.","PeriodicalId":182292,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Biology and Life Sciences","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-30","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128844819","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Surgery is required in 10%-18% of patients. For lumbar disc herniation, the common ones include posterior small incision discectomy, percutaneous endoscopic lumbar discectomy, posterior microendoscopic discectomy, and foraminal endoscopic nucleus pulposus removal, Intervertebral fusion, etc. However, it is often accompanied by residual symptoms such as lumbar mobility disorder, lumbar swelling and pain, abdominal distension, constipation, lower limb strength, and hyperalgesia in the nerve root innervation area of the lower limb. Acupuncture has the characteristics of simple treatment, effective effect, and high acceptance. It can relieve postoperative pain and improve various physiological and biochemical functions by regulating qi, blood, yin, and yang. With the continuous development and change of acupuncture techniques, traditional acupuncture treatments and various innovative acupuncture treatments have achieved good clinical effects in rehabilitation.","PeriodicalId":182292,"journal":{"name":"International Journal of Biology and Life Sciences","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-05-25","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128225653","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
