Samples: This study consisted of 25 elderly who participated in osteoporosis gymnastic at Royal Taruma Hospital, which was selected based on purposive sampling. The samples aged ranges from 55-80 years with a gymnastic frequency >4 weeks. The sample examined the thoracic hyperkyphosis curve with flexicurve-ruler and balance with Berg Balance Scale. Method: This study was a cross-sectional with observational study and was a correlation study. Results: Average and standard deviation of the hyperkyhposis curve in elderly who participated in osteoporosis gymnastic was 50.63±5.42 while the balance was 49.96±2.55. Pearson test obtained the value of p=0.183 (p> 0.05), meaning that there is no correlation between the degree of the hyperkhyphosis curve and balance in elderly who participated in osteoporosis gymnastic at Royal Taruma Hospital. Whereas the value of r (correlation strength) = -0.276, it’s mean that there is a negative correlation between hyperkyphosis and balance of the elderly. Conclusion: There is no correlation between hyperkyphosis and balance of elderly who join osteoporosis gymnastic, however, there is a negative correlation between hyperkyphosis and balance, so the higher hyperkyphosis curve, the lower balance of elderly.","PeriodicalId":179648,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Health","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127084087","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The ability of ex-drug addicts to make decisions is thought to be influenced by their self-concept. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between self-concept and decision-making for an ex-drug addict. The design of this research is non-experimental quantitative research with non-probability sampling using the snowball technique. A number of samples are 34 ex-drug addicts. Measuring of self-concept was based on the theory by Berzonsky, with 55 valid items and 0.970 reliability value. Measuring of decision-making was based on the theory by Janis and Mann, with 28 valid items and 0.968 reliability value. The results showed that there was a significant, positive and strong correlation between self-concept and decision making (sig. 0.000 and r = 0.622). Self-concept has an influence on decision-making as much as 38.7%, with 61.3% being influenced by other factors. The majority of the subjects had a negative self-concept (55.9%) and poor decision-making (52.9%). Ex drug addict who had negative self-concept were more unable to make decisions.","PeriodicalId":179648,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Health","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130068941","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The energy obtained from cellular respiration processes. The cellular respiration involves the enzyme has a role transfer an electron. Cytochrome-c (Cyt-c) is an enzyme in the mitochondria inner membrane that has a role in cell respiration and stimulates apoptosis cells. We studied the Cyt-c gene expression in inflammatory phase of tissue regeneration of digit tip mice ( Mus musculus ) after amputation to analyze a role in tissue regeneration. The result of the Cyt-c gene expression reached a peak on day 3. It showed that the tissue regeneration process needs high energy and involves cell apoptosis to stimulate regeneration. The result of ANOVA homogeneity test of Cyt-c gene expression differentt significantly for each growth day (p <0.05).","PeriodicalId":179648,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Health","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129215276","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the villages known by the nickname is the Krebet Village in Jambon sub-district. Jambon is an endemic area due to Iodine Deficiency Disorders (IDD). The purpose of this study is to examine the factors associated with IDD in Elementary School 4 Krebet. This cross-sectional study was conducted from February to June 2016. The population is all students in Elementary School 4 Krebet. The total sample was 72 students. IDD status was identified using the palpation. Salt iodine content was measured using the iodine test. The frequency of food consumption from outside the village (FFCO) was collected by a food frequency questionnaire. Energy and protein intake were assessed using food recall. Nutritional status was measured using a height for age (HFA) index. The results of multiple logistic regression tests showed that significant factors associated with the incidence of IDD were iodine salt content (OR=8.7; p=0.003), protein intake level (OR=6.7; p=0.004), and FFCO (OR=5.8; p=0.009). It is very important for the Government of the Ponorogo Regency to ensure that used salt truly contains iodine.","PeriodicalId":179648,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Health","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126372695","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Tempeh and vital wheat gluten-based meat analog are expected to provide vitamin B12 for vegetarians. Completely Randomized Design was used as the experimental design. The organoleptic test was carried out by 25 semi-trained panelists and 30 consumers. The content of vitamin B12, protein, fat, carbohydrate, moisture, ash, Total Plate Count, and also production cost was analyzed. Organoleptic test result showed that F2 has the best acceptability with 6,67 mg/100g of vitamin B12, 9,25% protein, 2,94% fat, 28,32% carbohydrate, 56,72% moisture. 2,69% ash, and 2,3 x 104 cfu/g in Total Plate Count. The cost to produce one package of tempeh and vital gluten wheat-based meat analog is 9.171 rupiahs. Therefore, it is proved that tempeh and vital wheat gluten can produce a meat analog with high vitamin B12 content that also fulfills the minimum quality requirements in SNI 3818:2014. However, it was necessary to analyze the storability of the product, also analyze the protein content with the Kjeldahl method and analyze the pseudo vitamin B12 that might be contained in the product.","PeriodicalId":179648,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Health","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116101088","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Low in mental health literacy was one of the factors that contributed to prohibiting lay people to seek help. Culture has to get more attention in mental health discussion because it is probably related to mental health literacy aspects such as mental disorder recognition, belief about the cause of the mental disorder, stigma, even the help-seeking. In this study, we want to explore the mental health understanding from the sample of Chinese people's perspectives in Jakarta, Indonesia. The participants in this study were 130 people consisted of 85 women, 45 men (ranged 14-65 years old). The instruments to collect data in this study were two vignettes (depression and schizophrenia). The method to measure data was descriptive analysis. The result showed the mental health literacy of Chinese lay people was low, where Chinese culture mainly contributed to constructing beliefs about the cause of the mental disorder and the decision to seek help. PKPR began in 2003 at the Puskesmas. PKPR is a special health service for teenagers to deal with problems that exist in adolescents. The number of adolescent health problems in the Pulogadung District Health Center in 2018 is still high. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of the Youth Health Care Services (PKPR) program at the Pulogadung District Health Center. This research uses a descriptive type with a qualitative approach and tests the validity of the data by triangulating methods, sources, and data. Data were collected using in-depth interviews, observation and document review. The results of the study revealed that human resources did not have permanent doctors in the PKPR program, facilities were still lacking in the absence of IEC media, and the expansion of the PKPR program was still lacking. It is expected that the puskesmas will assign one PKPR polyclinic doctor to facilitate patient monitoring as well as additional means to promote the PKPR program to adolescents who still do not utilize the PKPR in the puskesmas.","PeriodicalId":179648,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the 1st International Conference on Health","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"1900-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129470195","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
