The need to increase the overall dimensions of the generators of the system of electromechanical radiators and acoustic screens necessitated a search for new approaches to the construction of low-frequency systems. One of such approaches is the transfer of external acoustic screens of cylindrical radiators into their internal cavities when the latter are filled with liquid. Under conditions of symmetrical electric excitation of piezoceramic radiators and asymmetric arrangement of acoustic screens in their internal cavities, this approach ensures the preservation of one-sided radiation directivity. However, the conditions for the formation of the physical fields of the radiators in the composition of the systems under review undergo significant changes and the previously developed theoretical foundations and the properties of the physical fields of the screened cylindrical radiators established using them do not correspond to new physical realities. The purpose of this work is to obtain the calculated ratios for determining the physical fields of cylindrical piezoceramic radiators with internal acoustic soft screens when operating as part of flat measuring systems. To solve the problem, we use the method of coupled fields in multiply-connected domains. The method of numerical analysis revealed a number of features in the physical fields of piezoceramic radiators, which determine the conditions for the energy efficiency of their collaboration with electronic generators of the radiating paths of measuring systems. In the acoustic field, the radiation load of cylindrical radiators with screens as part of flat systems is characterized by a loss of axial symmetry. In the mechanical field of cylindrical piezoelectric radiators, the violation of the symmetry of their acoustic loading while maintaining the symmetry of the electric is accompanied by the emergence of multi-mode oscillations and effective redistribution of energy “pumped” into the radiators with the accepted mode of excitation only in one - zero mode of oscillation between all modes. The established features of the processes occurring during radiation indicate the need to consider them when choosing measurement methods and developing methods for measuring field characteristics.","PeriodicalId":178034,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 41st International Conference on Electronics and Nanotechnology (ELNANO)","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114966505","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Our instrument is a meshless full-wave code, built using the analytical regularization of the dual series equations, based on the use of Discrete Inverse Fourier Transform. This technique casts the scattering problem to a Fredholm 2nd-kind matrix equation for the unknown amplitudes of the scattered field Floquet harmonics and thus guarantees the convergence. Our computations demonstrate that such a metasurface is highly frequency-selective. If the elementary cell size and substrate thickness are in tens of microns, then the resonance frequencies of such a periodic cavity are in the terahertz range. They are of two different families-low-Q natural modes of the substrate and ultrahigh-Q lattice modes of the whole grating.","PeriodicalId":178034,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 41st International Conference on Electronics and Nanotechnology (ELNANO)","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115242786","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The growing application of a linear induction motors in industry requires in-depth research of mathematical models which can be aplied for the development systems where this motors used. The characteristics of linear motors are affected by electromagnetic processes that occur due to the opening of the magnetic circuit, as well as the “input-output” effects during the transition of the contours of the secondary element from the final zone to the active one at the approaching end of the inductor and from active to the final one at the coincident end, as a result of which the so-called, “end effects”. The opening of the magnetic circuit and the end effects lead to a change in the shape of the flow and induction in the air gap along the longitudinal axis, as a result of which additional EMFs appear in the winding coils, which causes asymmetry of the phase currents, the presence of MMF harmonics and unwanted losses. Such things like increased air gap, overlap of secondary and end effects should be considered. This paper shows existing types of linear machines and mathematical models of them, but it also derrives the mathematical model of linear induction motor. Existing types of linear machines are defined by many parametres such as motion type, current type etc. Obtained mathematical model based on equivalent substitution scheme is adaptive for frequency control. The well-known Duncan model is used to account end effects.","PeriodicalId":178034,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 41st International Conference on Electronics and Nanotechnology (ELNANO)","volume":"148 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114427068","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To estimate the effectiveness of vaccinations, treatment, quarantine restrictions and testing levels, the daily and accumulated numbers of cases and deaths per capita were used for different days and time periods. The linear correlation of relative accumulated values with some demographic characteristics such as population of European countries and regions of Ukraine, its density, and the percentage of people living in cities was investigated. The results have demonstrated that the urbanization level affects the numbers of deaths per capita and the deaths per case ratio. Two opposite trends were revealed for European countries and the regions of Ukraine. The average daily number of cases and deaths in the period from September to December 2020 were compared with the same period in 2021 for Ukraine, EU, the UK, USA, India, Brazil, South Africa, Argentina, and in the whole world in order to find some correlations with seasonal factors, the percentage of the fully vaccinated people and boosters. The results showed that existing vaccines cannot prevent new infections, but vaccinations can diminish the numbers of death per capita.","PeriodicalId":178034,"journal":{"name":"2022 IEEE 41st International Conference on Electronics and Nanotechnology (ELNANO)","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117024154","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
