Thus, it requires deep investigation of Electric vehicle's integration in the already developed grid control and operational structures, such as the microgrid concept. This paper is focused on the design and operation of a microgrid with the development of specific control functionalities to incorporate EV models for smart charging with vehicle-to-grid (V2G) implementation under normal and islanded modes. The modeling is done in Simulink to simulate the behavior of a MG for islanded modes under-voltage unbalanced conditions. It is found that EVs have different responses depending on the different droop parameters. It is seen that EVs have different responses depending on the droop parameters, where some EVs decrease the power being drawn from the grid.","PeriodicalId":176979,"journal":{"name":"2020 9th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125375430","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Their capacity can be extended step by step depending on the market development. A challenging aspect within this environment is the re-ramp-up of the production system after the implementation or adaption of production facilities. This paper demonstrates how virtual commissioning can be used to shorten and improve the commissioning phase of new production facilities and thereby ensure the re-ramp-up of production systems in time. Despite high cost and time saving potential, the development of a virtual model and the commissioning in the simulation environment causes a lot of effort. The paper identifies basic requirements as well as other factors of influence on virtual commissioning and provides an evaluation model which can be used by production engineers. The focus is to identify projects with a high potential and support the decision for or against using virtual commissioning within the expansion of a scalable production system.","PeriodicalId":176979,"journal":{"name":"2020 9th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"81 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125557129","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The study examines that it is an efficient method of operation research in the field of industrial engineering. Using the data of a Chinese company Z, which is a famous food company, the study analyzes the empirical results and obtains the following evidences. Firstly, the linear programming theory is very consistent with the actual production situation in China. Secondly, the real data of the company Z is used to derive the gross margin of one-unit product especially via the opportunity cost principle. Finally, one-period decision problem can be easily solved by the linear programming method and the results are reasonable and robust. In addition, the multi-period decision problem can be easily extended from one-period decision problem.","PeriodicalId":176979,"journal":{"name":"2020 9th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115042941","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of personality traits, social support and group identification on courier turnover intention. Data were collected from 869 couriers, recruited from twelve representative express companies in China. SPSS 17.0 was used to explore the relationships among the proposed variables based on the hypothesized model. The results showed that personality traits are positively related to group identification while negatively related to turnover intention. Moreover, group identification is negatively related to couriers' turnover intention and plays a mediating role between personality traits and turnover intention. In addition, we found that social support moderate the relationship between personality traits and group identification. Personality traits of a person are difficult to change, but managers can reduce employees' turnover intention by providing social support.","PeriodicalId":176979,"journal":{"name":"2020 9th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117045054","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

For example, approximately 90% of all the financial institutions still maintain a traditional paper-based work system, including the printing, storage, and inquiries of physical account opening documentation. Therefore, to reduce the number of physical documents handled, this study proposes a four-stage digitalization model. First, the necessary requirements are elicited. Then, the second stage identifies the main problem and defines improvement objectives. Next, the following tools are executed: change management, business and technology management, and a new digitalization process. Finally, the results obtained are verified against the expected results. The proposed model will be validated through a case study, wherein 35% reduction in unnecessary operating costs, 90% decrease in document inquiries, and 100% cut in documentation-related expenses were reported.","PeriodicalId":176979,"journal":{"name":"2020 9th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114601460","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

A mathematical model is established to minimize the path cost, time window penalty cost and vehicle use cost, and a hybrid heuristic algorithm is designed to solve the problem. Finally, the effectiveness of the method is verified by an example of an automobile body production line. On the other hand, the new technologies from Forth Industrial Revolution are promising trends in industry. This work aimed to study the possibility of integration between the concepts of Industry 4.0 and Lean Manufacturing. After observing and categorizing the principles, attributes, technologies and guiding concepts of LM and Industry 4.0, a relationship matrix was developed by this study, associating each of the five LM principles with the attributes of Industry 4.0. It was identified 22 synergy points, which are also represented in the five proposed diagrams. These diagrams were developed to represent, in a visual way, the relationship of each LM principle and attributes 4.0, approaching organizational challenges, Lean tools, and technologies 4.0. As a result, it was proposed that LM and Industry 4.0 can work together and collaborate mutually from a holistic integration perspective.","PeriodicalId":176979,"journal":{"name":"2020 9th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"23 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124987603","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Yet, literature in applied psychology shows that leaders elicit very different reactions from others as a function of leaders' abilities to regulate their emotions and those of people around them, particularly in times of crisis. Unfortunately, these two research communities tend to work in silos. Consequently, this research aims at developing a decision-making meta-model for addressing production crises that relies on both management science and applied psychology. A practical production crisis decision model is developed that couples the formalized decision making framework of a Markov Decision Process (MDP) with empirical data on interpersonal emotion management. This model is applied to cases of production crises or disruptions where managers use different levels of Interpersonal Emotion Management (IEM).","PeriodicalId":176979,"journal":{"name":"2020 9th International Conference on Industrial Technology and Management (ICITM)","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2020-02-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123990785","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
