In the following decades, the cooperative principle has been a trending topic of discussion in linguistics and continuously developed. Leech’s politeness principle and Wilson and Sperber’s relative theory have improved the cooperation principle from different aspects. The cooperative principle has been widely applied in the analysis of conversations in films, dramas, and literature, which contributes to a holistic understanding of characterization and dramatic conflicts. In this paper, doctor-patient dialogues in The Good Doctor Season 1 are analyzed from the theoretical perspective of the cooperative principle. It can be discerned that healthcare workers should comply with the maxim of quality and quantity, to no little extent, when communicating with patients. However, in different contexts, healthcare workers sometimes choose to deliberately violate the maxim of relation and manner in order to achieve better communication effects, such as helping patients understand their conditions or relieving patients’ tension. This paper intends to provide effective suggestions for real-life doctor-patient communication by applying the cooperative principle to the corpus analysis in The Good Doctor Season 1, so as to improve the communication efficiency of both parties and create a harmonious doctor-patient relationship.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128759114","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Because of this, idols are more likely to influence their fans by their words and actions. This paper will explore the effect of celebrity speeches on fans' self-worth and sense of belonging based on addiction model, Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory and cultivation theory. By studying the influence of celebrities on fans' self-worth and sense of belonging, this paper can analyze what types or styles of celebrities are more sought after by fans, the psychological reasons why fans' sense of self-worth and belonging are influenced by their idols and remind society to look at following celebrities rationally. They called this silencing and regarded it as a violation of free speech. Sharma has presented a profound criticism of the former study and issued her own opinions based mainly on the intentionalist point of view, which is inaccurate and not satisfactory enough. To further the discussion, this paper argues that the reason for her defects locates in the intentional fundament. This paper creatively puts speech acts into the framework of Wittgenstein’s Language Game Theory and Brandom’s Asserting Theory, namely, the social view. This paper finally reaches a conclusion that the basic essence of speech acts is conventionality based on language game and the social web created by asserting. The intention is the secondary essence, which is highly related to securing uptake when it comes to further taxonomy. On this new framework, this paper also put forward the questions of the relationships between speech act verbs and speech acts, the further taxonomy of non-conventional speech acts for future discussions.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116610151","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It objectively discusses the historical background and main contents of the formation of Marx's religious view as well as the contents of religious criticism which cannot be ignored in the Marxist theoretical system. In the process of studying Marxism, people always used to combine religion with the words such as ignorance and unwisdom. This paper returns to the original work of Marx, puts forward the realistic value of the existence of religion under the historical background, and holds that religion should be discussed with realistic people based on the real society.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"79 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131001625","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the evolutionary game theory, the article defines the three participants in the evolutionary process of fertility choice and their payoff functions, then constructs a three-party evolutionary game model among individuals, firms and local governments, and finally analyzes the strategic choices of each party under the government-led family policies. The findings suggest that economic policies that directly give cash incentives and tax benefits are more effective in increasing fertility rate and creating a fertility-friendly social environment. Thus, the author suggests that the government should mainly use economic policies to promote the increase of fertility level and solve the social problem of low fertility rate.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134170863","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

PBL originated in America and developed systematically in western countries. To further the PBL development in China, this paper mainly makes comparison of PBL in class between China and America based on two authentic PBL class cases and finds out that PBL classes differ in process monitoring, project setting, and evaluation of works. At the same time, they are similar in the diversified assignments, project duration, and creative thinking skills. By analyzing these points, this research has three main findings :(1)The American case favors project-based learning more, whereas the Chinese case emphasizes problem-based learning; (2)When delivering the curriculum, it is crucial for teachers to strike a balance between PBL and related subjects, and obstacles, length, or materials should also be taken into account. ; (3)Group collaboration is the primary means of reducing the management challenge in PBL teaching, and strengthening PBL teaching management is a link in the teaching process. The paper contributes to helping teachers who are committed to PBL adopt the good points and avoid shortcomings of the lesson plan and project design.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134396495","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Memes, which can only be fully comprehended once a certain network group has assimilated people's views, are just one example of how network communication is spawning a new revolution in the meaning of language in particular senses. Furthermore, if people are uncomfortable using particular expressions online, other words will emerge to take their place. They could worry that they'll be bullied or harassed if they try to voice an alternative viewpoint. In this research, the author applies Grice's theory of non-natural meaning to analyse the potential impact of a few popular Chinese internet phrases and memes on the average Chinese person. It will be determined that the widespread use of non-natural meanings has a negative impact on the network environment and makes people playing more sentimental roles in passing along information. Because of this, a different method of network governance is required.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121315683","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The behavior of speaking the n-word, consciously or unconsciously, might be treated as racial discrimination, and thus people who utilize it might be considered a racist, as the n-word could not be detached from the social context that generalized it. However, a few people began to consider its culture and historical values. By using this format, a speaker can create an identity that demonstrates knowledge of African American history as well as a practical understanding of the nature and significance of the diaspora experience. The form of the n-word has been changing over time, which means the public gradually endeavored to accept this word. Those scholars suggested that there should be less tragedy, in which case people, Caucasians in particular, could not defray the cost of mentioning the n-word (such as losing jobs, online violence), and it has proven somewhat effective in spreading a variety of attitudes related to its fundamental meaning, including solidarity, a provocative voice for equality.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129121582","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This change is a significant break from previous practices because, particularly since the Cold War, American political discourse on space during the ISS (International Space Station) era has tended to encourage international cooperation. This research explores the relationship between American nationalism and space, offering an explanation for why the relevance of space exploration has changed over time from the 1960s to 2019. One of the key components of American national identity, space technology is employed to highlight and strengthen national might. This article will contrast how nationalism was practiced during these three eras of American history: the Cold War space race, the international space station era and Trump’s administration.
