This essay will focus on the causes of housewives and policy protection in an effort to improve the status of gender discrimination. A substantial body of evidence and theory reveals that housewives are disadvantaged in economic, social, and the majority of other power structures, as well as in patriarchal partnerships in general. By monitoring and evaluating the development and predicament of housewives, this article will learn the history of policy protection behind housewives and the structure of marriage they live in, as well as the policy contradiction matching this history. Consequently, this paper argues that this policy contradiction is essentially an inequality in the perception of housewives' careers that develops as a result of discrimination against women. As a result, the concept of public policy design must be revised and the policy reconstructed from the standpoint of the policy support system for housewives' career development.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124448271","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The problem-based learning method, which takes “problems” as the carrier, creates problem situations, raises problems, analyzes problems, and solves problems, which is more effective for implementing teaching. This paper reviews the applications of PBL in science teaching in China’s senior high schools in recent years. The findings of the thesis are the following: 1) PBL teaching mode not only stimulates students’ learning interest and initiative but also improve students’ abilities to analyze and solve problems. 2) PBL teaching method improves students’ language expressive abilities. 3) adopting PBL teaching method can improve students’ critical thinking. Nevertheless, in the process of using PBL there are some shortcomings. From the perspective of most teachers, they are influenced by the traditional teaching mode so it is difficult for them to use PBL. Due to the limited teaching time, the assessment mode of PBL is too simple. Therefore, this study put forward some suggestions to improve PBL classes. First, teachers should look for the life phenomena related to the subject and find some teaching materials. Second, schools need to provide experimental equipment to encourage students to practice. Third, teachers should design questions with difficult coefficients to inspire students’ thinking. This paper objectively summarizes the examples of PBL science teaching in Chinese high schools, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages, and puts forward suggestions for improvement, which is conducive to promoting teachers’ thinking about PBL science teaching and promoting the applications of PBL teaching mode in Chinese high schools’ science classes.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"52 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115111107","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the question of whether the origin of the harm comes exclusively from a word and whether the word itself has a negative nature still needs to be discussed further. This paper will analyze and criticize traditional theories and conclude that there is no constant negative nature to a single word based on the research of historical changes and examples of semantic plurality in different geographical areas. It is only necessary to make people aware that language and semantics are dependent on the intentions of the speaker and the rational analysis of the listener, and that too much ethical criticism will only make the communication more unethical or counterproductive.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"17 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124012758","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As an important branch of sociolinguistics, the issue of Chinese-English taboos has become typical of the study of intercultural communication. Based on the different linguistic features of the Chinese and English languages, and the obvious differences in such features, the two are constantly confronted with the confrontation and challenge of taboo language in intercultural communication, not to mention the new vocabulary of communication that has emerged as a result of the development of the Internet. When taboo language and specific communication situations on both sides are accurately analysed, it is more likely that the root of the problem can be identified and avoided in order to ensure the progress and quality of intercultural communication. The analysis of regular cases from recent years has shown that the active avoidance of the direct use of taboo language and the reinforcement of linguistic knowledge for reasons of cultural sensitivity are effective in preventing intercultural communication errors.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"41 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125666377","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The song this study chooses has the style of Feng Yansi’s Song Poems Ye Jinmen, with a strong literati atmosphere, beautiful and colorful, euphemistic and implicit. Love for Life not only has good lyrics, but the music also exquisitely embodies the artistic conception of the lyrics. Through Leslie's singing, he sings such classical poetic lyrics in a monologue poet's voice. The live version of his 1988 concert, complete with medieval prince costumes, is quite Romeo style, reminiscent of Lam Yihua's words 'If there is a Romeo in the world, I think he is similar to you'. Apart from the analysis of Leslie, this study also draws some attention to the other contributors such as Zhong Xiaoyang. It is argued that through the cooperation of these artists, the song successfully represented the golden age of Hong Kong and one of the peaks of Cantonese culture.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132918902","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, according to the existing information and research data, most studies focus on him personally, not on his speech text techniques. This paper analyzes how his speeches burst with power using the following theories in details:language game theory, demagoguery rhetoric and rally effect. These three theories are often used in his speeches and became a catalyst for conflict. After these analyses, people can understand how did Hitler skillfully use the theories to help him and how his speeches exactly worked. Through these, this paper hopes to remind people of the power of language, to learn from history, and to avoid being compelled by speeches that can cause unexpectedly huge harm to others. Language is far beyond just a tool for communication, with elaborately planning, it could instantly become a hazardous weapon that careful utterance of words should always be born in mind.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"95 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129997732","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In the widespread live-streaming industry, the virtual anchors who stream behind various animated avatars are favored by a majority of young people. This paper summarizes five characteristics of Chinese game virtual streaming through observations on Bilibili live streaming platform and social media such as Weibo, TikTok and Little Red Book. The author believes that Chinese game virtual streamers have strong role-playing quality, a variety of live games content, humor, versatility and the ability to follow the latest trends. Through these characteristics, they can enrich the live content to attract more audience attention, also strengthen the interaction with the audience and meet the needs of the audience to a greater extent, thus promoting the development of the virtual streaming industry. The analysis of the characteristics of game virtual streamers can make the streamers better improve and strengthen their own advantages and expand the audience group, as well as enable the audience to have a deep understanding of the virtual streamers, which encourages a more appropriate and rational virtual stream watching experience.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130119228","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, through its business strategy, Bilibili has also changed from a core ACG subculture video website to a pan-ACG website. Using both case study and literature analysis methods, this paper analyses the reasons for the change in users through three components: social cognitive theory, Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory and social identity theory. From these three theories, it can be learned that changes in users can be caused by different reasons, which can be mainly divided into personal and environmental factors. Some very subjective reasons, such as growth, interests, needs, and so on, cause individuals to leave the platform or choose other forms of entertainment. In terms of the site itself, the weakening of the community atmosphere and the extension of the content section may lead to a change in the type of user. It also gives suggestions based on the relevant findings as well as giving the shortcomings of this paper.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129209554","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Six knowledge resources (KR) are included in GTVH: script oppositions (SO), logical mechanisms (LM), situations (SI), targets (TA), narrative strategies (NS), and language (LA) to analyze verbal humor. As a comedic performance on stage, stand-up comedies have experienced explosive popularity in China in recent years. This paper extracted four excerpts from the final round of a stand-up comedy TV show “Rock & Roast” Series 5 and applies qualitative research to analyze them with the theory of GTVH. From the analysis, different KRs of SI and TA showed up to give the audience several interesting contents. In the SO KR, from the most to lowest abstract level are all used in the script. At the same time, LM, NS and LA KRs as tools serve for the contents. It is obvious that LM varies among these excerpts, but NS are usually the same and LA can be absent in the performances. The straightforward content KRs of SI and TA are more obvious, LM, but NS and LA are sometimes unnoticed, which are essential tools to make the text effective. It suggests the feasibility of combining Chinese stand-up comedy with pragmatics theory and it extends the traditional studies in this field.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"31 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128834179","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
