However, it is understood that in some other Jiangxi Opera troupes, Jiangxi Opera, like most local operas in China, is also facing a shortage of actors, and there is a gap between new and old actors. A series of problems, such as the loss of an audience and the lack of performance venues, has led to a vicious circle in the development of Jiangxi Opera, which is in danger of being lost. Many local opera troupes are facing difficulties that they cannot continue to survive. Through studying the methods of popularizing Jiangxi Opera in universities, this paper introduces three methods of integrating Jiangxi Opera into the classroom, regularly carrying out Jiangxi Opera activities, and establishing Jiangxi Opera clubs, to make Jiangxi Opera more popular on campus, cultivating more Jiangxi Opera lovers, enabling students to understand and learn Jiangxi Opera more closely, and participating in learning and experiencing Jiangxi Opera personally, which can not only inherit and carry forward Jiangxi Opera, Protect and inherit the excellent traditional culture of our Chinese nation. At the same time, it can also cultivate students' understanding of \"cultural diversity\" and enhance national pride. Through this article, I hope to find out a more suitable development path and method for the art of Jiangxi Opera on campus, which can make Jiangxi Opera more and more popular in universities, and truly inherit and carry forward this excellent traditional art of Jiangxi.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"150 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115591057","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
{"title":"Getting Rid of Male Gaze Gradually: Exploring the Development of Feminism from ELLE Magazine","authors":"Ying He","doi":"10.54691/bcpep.v9i.4684","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.54691/bcpep.v9i.4684","url":null,"abstract":"In order to focus on women's fashion and lifestyle, a Frenchwoman named Helene Lazareff started ELLE magazine in 1945. After 50 years, ELLE has evolved from a fashion publication to a global fashion brand. Most notably, the ELLE brand process incorporates gender equality as a major theme. In this publication, women from varied backgrounds continue to express how they have defined men and their own social standing throughout history, as well as how they see femininity and masculinity now. Through a comparative analysis of images on magazine covers from the 20th and 21st centuries and theoretical knowledge of the male gaze, this paper finds that the development of the female gaze contributed to the rise in male models, that changes in clothing styles and brands reflected the emergence of women's sense of self, and that a variety of poses allowed women to present themselves bravely. Combined with such arguments, the paper concludes that feminism is developing rapidly, reflected on the covers of ELLE magazines, as women are gradually getting rid of the male gaze. Besides, based on the additional risks that come with advancing times, there are still many obstacles in the path of feminism challenging current feminists and females, which need them to make more efforts to overcome.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"27 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128666002","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper not only examines the effects of PBL, but also the underlying reasons of these effects. Results show that PBL positively impacts students compared with traditional education. Also, it can improve students' active thinking, hands-on, and teamwork cooperative ability. These positive effects can help students adapt to future work and project learning. Meanwhile, the reason for these positive effects is the change in PBL and traditional teaching methods.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"3 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121430832","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Nowadays, scholars generally study the issues of communication and gender from the perspective of social gender. The Disney Frozen and Princess series of animated films has created 14 princesses with different images and styles in 80 years, from 1937 to 2017. The inner characters of the women in the films are influenced by the environment and ideology of The Times to a certain extent. Based on gender theory, nine princesses were randomly selected from 14 princesses in 13 Disney officially recognized princess films and Frozen as research objects, and the independent characteristics of princess characters were coded and analyzed by using the content analysis method to explore the main reasons for the change. The research finds that, with the development of the times, the princesses in the Disney princess animation series gradually show more independent characteristics in personalities. Moreover, the main reasons for the differences and changes in these princesses are the changes in social culture.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"14 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114561440","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The human brain is limited to information processing capacity; when the input and output of Information mismatch, the individual will feel overwhelmed by tons of Information, resulting in anxiety, depression, and out of controlled psychological state. The idea of information overload has a long history. As early as the last century, it was applied by many scholars in enterprise management. The main consequence of information overload is the decline of decision-making quality and efficiency; decision-makers often need to consume more time and cognitive resources to deal with the task. In addition, the impact of information overload on mental health is often mentioned. Especially in the Internet era, people can receive more Information in a day than those who lived a hundred years ago combined in a lifetime. Massive amounts of instant Information build up to a state of life that requires a constant response; prolonged exposure to information overload can lead to personal stress, depression, and social media fatigue. It can be seen that information overload not only hurts people's work but also harms their physical and psychological health. Therefore, this paper will systematically describe the negative impact of information overload on individuals, especially psychological health, and provide some feasible suggestions.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"110 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126504901","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The male gaze can be found in every woman's daily life and has extended to social media. Thus, a specific type of female gaze emerges on social media in order to resist the male gaze. This type of female gaze aims at judging men's appearance, figure, education level or social position aggressively, differing from the female gaze in its usual context. Most studies of the gendered gaze lie in the field of film, literature and art, so in order to fill the gap, this study tries to analyse the gendered gaze in the field of social media. Two cases are raised in this study, 1saye bikini gate and Rayza airport gate, and the comments concerning the gendered gaze are gathered. Using textual analysis as a method, this study analyses the different characteristics of the male gaze and the aggressive female gaze on social media. According to the characteristics, this study focuses on whether the aggressive female gaze on social media can launch a rebellion against the male gaze on social media. Because of the nature and the purpose of the aggressive female gaze on social media, this study regards it as impossible for this type of female gaze to truly become a solution and a rebellion.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"51 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131583713","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study examines the parents' relationship, peer relationship, and romantic relationship levels of teenagers' social relationships from the perspective of violent online games, as well as the gender variations in social relationship positivity. Specifically, Chinese teenagers were split into the violent game and non-violent game groups, gathered the adolescents' social interaction scores in three aspects via questionnaires, and conducted a quantitative study. The data revealed that violent online games had no significant influence on teenagers' moms, peers, or romantic connections, with the exception of their ties with their fathers. This demonstrates that in families affected by violent video games, the relationships between adolescents and their parents warrants further investigation and debate in order to attain healthier parent-child relationships through the examination of the mothers' relationship pattern. In addition, peer relationship and romantic relationship scores of adolescent violent game players revealed that social behavior in violent games does not influence the development of positive social interactions in the real world. In the study of gender differences, it was determined by comparing the overall differences in social relations between males and females with the differences in the violent game group that violent games are the primary factor that boosts males' enthusiasm for social relationships. Consequently, examining the online social behavior of male online violent gamers players could be a breakthrough in enhancing the social relationships of Chinese adolescents.","PeriodicalId":173879,"journal":{"name":"BCP Education & Psychology","volume":"30 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-03-29","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115449699","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
