It encompasses expressions including directly referring to the audience as “you” and “we”, generic expressions, imperative expressions, and rhetorical interrogative expressions. This study primarily focuses on describing and analyzing the representational forms, pragmatic functions, and different metapragmatic awareness reflected in audience metadiscourse in self-built corpus of Chinese-American new year speeches during about ten years. For a long time, there have been problems in the protection and development of ethnic minority cultural villages in Panzhihua, such as insufficient local government awareness, single cultural village functions, serious loss of young labor force, and a lack of reasonable planning and scientific management. For this reason, this study will explore new ways to protect and develop ethnic minority cultural villages with distinctive characteristics in Panzhihua. It was not until the 21st century that Chinese education in Thailand entered a period of rapid development. This paper systematically reviews the development of Chinese teaching resources in Thailand at different stages, from different sources and of different types. It points out that the early experience of Chinese schools laid a solid foundation for the construction of contemporary Chinese teaching resources. While the development of Chinese teaching resources in Thailand has been rapid, there are still issues such as the lack of top-level design and policy implementation, insufficient teaching resources in higher education, and the need to improve the quality of Chinese teaching resources in vocational education. Suggestions are made to strengthen collaboration from a macro perspective, deepen Sino-Thai cooperation to improve localized teaching resources, and enhance the development of \"Chinese + vocational education\" teaching resources. Taking the corporate social responsibility reports of BYD and Tesla from 2018 to 2022 as the corpus, this study takes the Discourse-Historical Approach (DHA) as a theoretical framework to analyze the identity construction of Chinese and American new energy enterprises and the social context behind them. It is found that BYD and Tesla both have constructed the corporate identities of “smart car provider”, “faithful environmentalist”, and “zealous globalist” based on social contexts of China and America. Due to the differences between the two cultures, BYD and Tesla have won a good social reputation by building the corporate identities of “social-oriented contributor” and “self-oriented contributor” respectively. However, he resigned and lived in seclusion in the 14th year of the Qianlong period after witnessing some challenges. Advocating the “spirituality” (Spirituality theory is an idea of poetry inditement and comment in ancient Chinese poetics, which is advocated most strongly by Yuan Mei in Qing Dynasty. It is one of the four major schools of poetry theory in the early Qing Dynasty, together with verve theory, style theory, and texture theory) of poetry inditement, Yuan Mei paid attention to expressing the author’s true emotion and personality. “Spirituality” put forward by him attacked the popular retro-ism and formalism in poetry at that time, which was of progressive significance, although it had limitations due to its overemphasis on subjective emotion. This paper explores the pragmatic functions of four specific emojis (doge, smile, funny face, love) from comments on Bilibili and Weibo. A corpus of 229 comments is created through manual collection and crawler, and annotated according to the intext functions of the emojis. The results show that the four emojis are mainly used as “external tonal complements” and used for friendliness or joking, which can be explained by the renderings of the emojis. Furthermore, the friendly-looking love emoji and smile emoji also have occasional uses for sarcasm. Emojis used mainly for joking have softening uses, while emojis used mainly for friendliness are found to have sarcastic uses instead of softening uses. A possible cause of these negative uses is the censorship in Chinese social media. Framing effect, known to be effective in one’s decision-making process, can lead patients to certain options, misunderstandings and subsequent arbitrary decisions may take place. Therefore, in this study, four main factors, or effects, are discussed based on framing effect. People behave preferences according to words they hear. This ‘words’ include descriptive adjectives attached to one event or object, numerical descriptions like survival probability and whether it is described as an uncertainty or a risk. As a result of loss aversion, a negative description will lead to risk-taking behaviours, while a positive description will lead to risk aversion ones. At the same time, if the given probability level is considerably low, patients will turn to risk aversion and choose conservative treatments, weighing life quality more than quantity. Aside from numeric, people show consistent disbelief upon uncertainty to certain risk no matter the real probability level and will set a subjective probability for uncertain choices. Health state utility can also be another indicator when judging the patients’ state because of the prospect theory. In conclusion, people with different health states put different anticipation on medical results. Ages and prior disease experience are the two main factors influencing the patients’ own measurement of their health state utilities. The older the patients are, the more utility they will assign to.
