We consider that the resources available and the total time of inventory and transportation are limited.In the transportation process, transportation cost, transportation time and transportation capacity may vary between the two adjacent nodes for the reason of the transfer among various transportation modes. When the mode of the transportation is changed, we need consider the transshipment time and transshipment cost.The issue is a multi-transportation option network question under the normal distribution of the minimum total cost which consists of transportation cost, inventory cost, stock-out cost and time cost. In this paper, we comparatively study and specifically calculate the minimum total transportation and inventory cost in several different cases. Our paper shows that the result is not only more reasonable and effective than other models which can be seen in the appendix but also more in line with the actual situation of the supply chain logistics system. We can get our purpose that we may have a certain referential significance to reduce the total cost and raise the total profit of the supply chain logistics system.","PeriodicalId":173716,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Logistics Engineering and Intelligent Transportation Systems","volume":"18 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123623328","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this study, three planning models are to be integrated into a natural disaster logistics decision support system. The system readily decomposed into three problems the first one being fuzzy clustering disaster grades by historical data, the second one showing the grade distinguishment of new disaster areas based on fisher discrimination procedure, the last one giving plan incorporating relief commodities and equipment distributing in proper sequence in disaster areas. In emergency logistics context, supply is available in limited quantities at current time period but commodity demand is known with uncertainty at the time. So how to make grate use of the limited commodities under the uncertainty information, that is of great value. The mathematical models describe setting are considerably different than other conventional vehicle routing problem articles in the world. It suggests that macro adjustment is needed in emergency logistics programming in natural disasters, and it will drow more attention to this field in the near future.","PeriodicalId":173716,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Logistics Engineering and Intelligent Transportation Systems","volume":"148 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114851744","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In order to eliminate peak-hour congestion, many cities establish priority lanes such as bus lanes and Olympic lanes. Although priority lanes could help Local Authorities gain its short-term management objectives, at the same time, it would greatly infringe on the legitimate rights of other vehicles and waste the scarce road resources, which is rigorously proved by mathematical models in this paper. In the long run, priority lanes would make social conflicts more intensified, and therefore highly undesirable. On the contrary, the social system engineering, combined with High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes and High Occupancy Toll (HOT) lanes, is the right way to alleviate overcrowding and build a Low-Carbon harmonious society.","PeriodicalId":173716,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Logistics Engineering and Intelligent Transportation Systems","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128994033","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study discusses how to dispatch CTs by utilizing information about pickup and delivery locations and time in future delivery tasks based on dynamic dispatching strategy in which multiple tasks are matched with multiple CTs. In this paper, Multi-agent system (MAS) is used as the basis for an intelligent dispatch system. Relationship between transport tasks and service of CTS has been taken as a contract net using the fuzzy set theory and method. Considering the load of communication and consultation efficiency in system, the bidirectional negotiation mechanism is adopted. The dispatching model based on Contract Network Protocol (CNP) using bidirectional negotiation is provided for assigning optimal delivery tasks to CTs and fuzzy reasoning process of dispatching decisions is suggested. The method has both virtues of precision of static planning and flexibility of CNP and has been confirmed by cases.","PeriodicalId":173716,"journal":{"name":"2010 International Conference on Logistics Engineering and Intelligent Transportation Systems","volume":"99 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2010-12-10","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132725986","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Electronic commerce is changing many aspects of logistics, and promoting the development of logistics greatly. At the same time, if there is no modern logistics, business activities will become difficult. For enterprises, the right logistics model chosen is necessary. Therefore, the scientific logistics decision-making method should be applied by enterprises for their own development. On the base of research about the logistics current situation of developed countries and developing countries, through detailing analysis and comparison three models of self-logistics, logistics outsourcing and logistics alliance, the strengths and weaknesses of different models is pointed out. Existing logistics model decision-making methods had been detailed analysis, in order to make up their flaws and shortcomings, and a new method based on logistics strategic position of enterprises has been proposed.
