Additionally, it sought to assess the strength of the evidence for these factors and offer insights into promoting positive behaviors.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Methods</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>This systematic review adhered to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses reporting standards. We searched seven databases in February 2023 to include qualitative studies related to patients with GDM that explored their perceptions of and changes in healthy eating behaviors. Two researchers independently screened the articles, assessed their quality, extracted data, and coded the factors using the theoretical domain framework. For the factors involved, we performed a meta-synthesis based on their frequency and assigned a confidence level to determine their level of evidence.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Results</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>We included 32 of the 536 extracted articles. Barriers identified by high levels of evidence include: “Environmental context and resources,” “Social influences,” “Knowledge,” “Emotion,” and “Social/professional roles and Identity.” The facilitators identified by high levels of evidence include the following: “Beliefs about consequences,” “Social influences,” “Environmental context and resources,” “Skill,” and “Memory, attention, and decision processes.”</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Conclusion</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>This meta-synthesis highlights that healthy eating behavior change is influenced by the interaction of factors at different levels of individuals, organizations, and sociocultural environments. Furthermore, we established a framework that displayed the associations between these factors, giving prominence to those with higher levels of evidence. However, financial and geographical barriers can hinder patient access. The Japanese government implemented insurance coverage in April 2022 for specific ART treatments. This study assessed the effects of insurance coverage on ART utilization and accessibility.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Methods</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>An online survey was administered to 427 ART facilities that participated in a pre-policy assessment from December 1, 2023, to January 30, 2024.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Results</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>A total of 283 facilities responded (response rate: 66.3%). The number of ART patients increased by 4.0% (217 699–226 401) following the implementation of insurance coverage. The number of insured patients aged 25–43 years increased by 6.6%, with a notable increase of 22.9% (range: 44 144–54 253) in the 25- to 34-year age group. However, the number of uninsured patients aged ≥44 decreased by 16.3%; 172 facilities experienced an increased number of patients, whereas 111 facilities experienced no increase or decline. Patient growth rates were significantly higher in rural areas than in metropolitan regions (mean difference: 0.07; 95% confidence interval: 0.0–0.1; <i>p</i> = 0.03). Although there was a significant negative association between the proportion of out-of-pocket treatment and the rate of patient increase (<i>p</i> = 0.02), no such association was observed in rural areas (<i>p</i> = 0.68).</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Conclusions</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>Insurance coverage improved patient access to ART services, especially for those in their 20s and early 30s. However, the number of patients in the uninsured group decreased significantly. Accessibility in rural areas also notably improved. The research data were collected at antenatal polyclinics of a university hospital from November 2022 to January 2023. The Survey Form, the Female Genital Self-Image Scale (FGSIS), and the Attitude Scale toward Sexuality during Pregnancy (AStSdP) were used in the collection of research data.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Results</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>The mean scores obtained by pregnant women from the FGSIS and the AStSdP were successively 14.50 ± 4.15 and 88.01 ± 14.46 points. The factors affecting the attitude toward sexuality during pregnancy were the genital self-image and the duration of marriage.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Conclusions</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>In the study, it was discerned that pregnant women had a negative genital self-image and held negative attitudes toward sexuality during pregnancy. Also, it was found that genital self-image and the duration of marriage affected the attitude toward sexuality during pregnancy. The care bundle approach has been shown to reduce the risk of the primary outcome, a composite of severe postpartum hemorrhage, laparotomy for bleeding, or death from bleeding, compared to usual care among patients having vaginal delivery. In a large, international, parallel cluster-randomized trial, the E-MOTIVE trial. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire addressing personal and vaginal douching practices. Statistical analyses were performed at a significance level of <i>p</i> < 0.05.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Results</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>The prevalence of vaginal douching among the participants was 30.7%. The primary motivation for vaginal douching was personal hygiene, with water being the most frequently used substance. Information about the practice was predominantly obtained from family elders, friends, or individual experience. Misconceptions regarding the hygienic and health implications of vaginal douching were prevalent among participants. Despite awareness of its association with genital infections or related problems, many participants continued the practice. Multiple logistic regression analysis identified significant predictors of vaginal douching, including perceptions that it is hygienic, healthy, and associated with risks of genital infections/problems; a history of genital infections/problems within the previous year; receiving information about vaginal douching from family elders; engaging in sexual intercourse 1–2 times per week during the current pregnancy; being in the third trimester; being unemployed; and having completed secondary or high school education. The data were collected using the Descriptive Information Form, Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy Scale (BSES), and Social and Emotional Loneliness Scale (SELSA-S).</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Results</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>The mean total score of the mothers in the study was 43.72 ± 11.13 and the mean total score of SELSA-S was 59.67 ± 13.25. In the study, it was found that those who were university graduates, were employed, received education about breastfeeding, were currently breastfeeding, as well as those who exclusively breastfed for the first 6 months, received spousal support while breastfeeding, had statistically significantly higher mean total scores on the BSES and lower mean total scores on the SELSA-S than the others. Additionally, receiving general social support and specifically from their spouses also contributed to these higher scores. In addition, we classified the Ty-G index and LAP into tertiles to determine the efficacy of these indicators in predicting the risk of MetS. Finally, the effects of the Ty-G index, LAP, and lipid ratio on the prediction of MetS were evaluated with the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Results</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>Our results indicate that the incidence of MetS was 38% in 134 patients with PCOS, and that the Ty-G index, LAP, and lipid ratio were independent risk factors for MetS. In addition, the incidence of MetS significantly increased with Ty-G index and LAP. The ROC curve showed that the Ty-G index, LAP, and lipid ratio all showed good performance in predicting the occurrence of MetS in PCOS patients, but the Ty-G index had the highest predictive value, with a cut-off value of 8.70.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Conclusions</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>Our study revealed that the Ty-G index plays an important role in predicting the occurrence of MetS in PCOS patients. Unlike other plane blocks, the ESP block provides cutaneous and visceral analgesia by involving both ventral and dorsal roots. This study compared the ESP block and the transversus abdominis plane (TAP) block after laparoscopic hysterectomy, aiming primarily to compare quality of recovery (QoR) and secondarily to compare pain scores.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Methods</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>A prospective randomized controlled study involved 64 patients. After ethical approval and patient consent, patients undergoing elective laparoscopic hysterectomy were randomly assigned to two groups: Group E received a bilateral ESP block, and Group T received a bilateral lateral TAP block. In the recovery room, patients with a numerical rating score (NRS) of 4 or above received intravenous meperidine as rescue analgesia. The same postoperative analgesia plan was applied to all patients, including intravenous paracetamol and intramuscular diclofenac sodium. Tramadol was administered if the NRS score was 4 or above. Preoperative and postoperative QoR scores, pain scores, rescue analgesia use, nausea and vomiting, antiemetic use, unexpected side effects, mobilization time, and discharge time were recorded.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Results</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>When comparing preoperative and postoperative QoR scores, it was found that the decreases in scores were less in Group E. NRS scores were lower at the 4th, 8th, 12th, and 16th hours in Group E. This study investigated the association between miRNA polymorphisms and male infertility (azoospermia, oligospermia), female infertility (endometriosis), and recurrent implantation failure in IVF.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Methods</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>In order to find relevant articles, a search was conducted in PubMed, WOS, Scopus, and the Cochrane Library databases using Mesh terms and Entry terms with the keywords (miRNA OR microRNA polymorphism) AND (abortion OR miscarriage OR infertility OR sterility OR pregnancy loss OR implantation failure).</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Results</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>The study revealed miRNA polymorphisms linked to a higher risk of male and female infertility and repeated implantation failure in IVF. These results underscore the significance of genetic variations in miRNAs in developing reproductive issues and the promise of personalized treatment strategies guided by genetic profiles.</p>\u0000 </section>\u0000 \u0000 <section>\u0000 \u0000 <h3> Conclusion</h3>\u0000 \u0000 <p>These results provide valuable insights into the genetic basis of infertility and emphasize the need for further research to develop targeted diagnostic tools and therapies. Understanding the role of miRNA polymorphisms in reproductive health has significant implications for improving outcomes for couples struggling with infertility.
