Supplier selection is an important issue in decision making. In the manufacturing industry, one of the important activities is the procurement of raw materials by suppliers This Study Case which is a company engaged in the field of building materials with the main product in the form of nails with raw materials in the form of wire rod. In this research, some problems related to wire rod supplier that is not the right way used in supplier selection and delay of acceptance of raw materials, and less according to raw materials with quality and price of different raw materials from each supplier. This study aims to determine the best wire rod suppliers based on the weight of criteria and subcriteria and to rank on each supplier alternative. The method used in this research is AHP-TOPSIS method that will determine supplier priority. Determination of criteria and subcriteria is built on expert answers with closed and semi-open questionnaires. AHP method is used to obtain the weight of each criteria and subcriteria available and the weight is used in TOPSIS method to obtain the preference value of each supplier alternative which will determine the priority of the supplier. The research results show that there are 5 criteria with 15 subcriteria, where the quality weight has the biggest weight 0.5095, subcriteria The quality of service provided has the greatest weight of 0.2951 and PT. Master Steel has the greatest weight of 0.4589. Based on the preference value of PT. Master steel has the greatest preference value of 0.867. This shows that PT. Perkebunan Nusantara is a company that produce black tea. One of the step to make black tea is the process of drying tea leaves to have a water content of 2.5% - 3%. The company use Endless Chain Pressure (ECP) type machine. Inside the ECP machine there is a tray where the tea will be dried. Tray that use today is often broken in certain location. This study goal is to look for factors that affect the broken tray with Taguchi Method. The factors are adjusted to the company’s standard operational procedure in order to maintain the product. The factors use are drying time, inlet temperature, and inlet velocity. Base on orthogonal array L 16 (4 3 ) so that the experiment was obtained 16 times. Each experiment was conducted twice, Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) and Static Structural. The experiment result be analyze using S/N Ratio smaller the better and ANOVA. It is known that the optimum factor for tea drying machine tray are time level 1 at 1200s; inlet temperature level 1 at 369.25K, and inlet velocity at 16m/s and 24m/s with stress’s score 485.32 MPa. This research was conducted at MSEs of silver jewelry handicraft called SILVER 999. Workers in this MSEs, especially in assembly work station often experience back pain, neck pain, achy shoulders, achy hands called musculoskeletal disorders (MSDS). To reduce the risk of MSDS, ergonomic evaluation is carried out directly at this work station. Respondents in this study were all 10 workers. Data collection uses observation and filling in questionnaires. Worker posture is measured by Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) method. The MSDS complaint was measured by filling out Nordic Body Map (NBM) sheets. The results obtained as much as 70% (7 people) work posture in the assembly section with a very high category and 70% (7 people) workers in this section who experience MSDS complaints with a moderate category. Non-ergonomic work postures can cause MSDS complaints. Work posture that is getting worse cause greater musculoskeletal complaints. This shows that the redesign of the assembly work station is recommended so that the work posture is more ergonomic and reduces the symptoms of MSDS. DOOgether is an electronic commerce as a sports venue booking platform that provides easy access to various types and sports venues in Jakarta area, Indonesia. It uses mobile application media for its sales. The number of visitors increased from year to year in line with improvements made. Apparently there are still problems in the operation of DOOgether. From interviews information it has not been optimal so that it affects the initial process to the end of ordering the sports venue. Therefore, a study was conducted aimed at evaluating and finding problems in the mobile application with usability and user acceptance approach. The study propose to improve a better mobile application user interface. Usability evaluation was done by measuring effectiveness with the task completion rate metric, efficiency with time-on-task metrics, and user satisfaction with questionnaire calculations. The study involved 30 participants were grouped into initiator participants (never used a DOOgether mobile application) and non-initiator participants (never a DOOgether mobile application). The results showed that the system was effective for non-initiator participant groups. Distribution activity is important factor to determine service performance from producer to customer. One of distribution problems is about route determination. Some researches explain about Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP). VRP is a development of Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) with various modifications such as capacity and time constraints. This research try to use linear programming model to solve the problem of Capacitated Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows (CVRPTW) based on Dell’Amico, et al (2007) model with some adjustments such as the index period and some functions in cost. Branch and bound method will be used to solve linear programming model and will give the best route with minimum total distribution cost. Case study at washing jeans company which is used for numerical example aim to determine distribution route which could give minimum total distribution cost and time to company. Distribution costs consist of travel cost and overtime cost. Based on calculation process, washing jeans company will get total distribution cost about IDR 160927 per week and actual route which give cost about IDR 181525 per week. The Pertamina Exploration and Production-PEP field Bunyu injection pump system often fails. Maintenance performance is measured by the availability that has low amount and impact on increasing LPO (as an undesirable condition). This study aims to optimize the effectiveness of PEP field Bunyu injection pump by implementing measurements of overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and analysis of six big losses. The analysis results show that the proposed problem components that need to be improved are suction and discharge pump piping, pump characteristics, power supply characteristic, setting of suction or discharge valve and quality of pump spare part. The results of the study show that there are two big losses affecting the effectiveness of water injection pump system produced, namely breakdown losses and reduced speed losses. Waste Cooking Oil (WCO) is classified as municipal waste that potentially could pollute the environment. The form of the chains for waste cooking oil management has never been identified so the benefits are still unknown to the community. Up till now, waste cooking oil is always dumped into drains or sold to third-party collectors for converting it to be residual bulk oil. The risk of dumping waste cooking oil into drains can make the water source pollution. If it is reprocessed for human consumption, it can cause diseases. The added value of waste cooking oil is when converted to energy resource. In Yogyakarta, the chains for waste cooking oil management involved waste banks and Bumdes X that came from Bantul regency. Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) method was used to determine the added value of the waste cooking oil chains so that it can be used as an energy resource. The method that will be used in conducting a risk assessment using the Grey Theory method. There are three risks that need to be considered for fish meatball SME, namely the risk of adding preservative supporting ingredients to meatballs, the risk of contamination with lizard dung, rats, cockroaches. Supporting materials used are not in accordance with the list of ingredients in LPPOM MUI. Therefore fish meatball SME can communicate risk by exchanging information and opinions on food security risks by adopting important mitigation principles, namely control, coherence and coordination. By minimizing the risk of halal food in the SME, the halal guarantee law can be realized to encourage halal industry in Indonesia. Introduction Halal food is a very sensitive issue in Indonesia, which has the population of 255 million people 87.2 percent of whom are Muslims, representing the world's largest Muslim population [1]. Consequently, the halal food producers use the label of halal on their products as a symbol of quality [2], [3] and combine it with the label of thoyyiban which means “safe for consumption” [4]. Therefore, halal products are consumed not only by Muslim customers but also by non-Muslim customers so that the growth of halal products is significant enough, about 18.3 percent of global food expenditures reaching US $ 1,914 billion in 2021. [5] state that Muslim consumers have a high awareness of halal products and avoid the risk of halal products. However, the risk of halal products can occur starting from the origin of raw materials, the way to obtain them, the process of handling the raw materials, the type of material or substance (material), the storage and every stage of the process from raw materials to finished products [6]. Thus, the risk potential may take place along the supply chain points such as raw material risk, production risk, food safety risk, and logistics risk [7]. In general, the risk potentials that occur on halal food products may be in the form of fraud and forgery of halal food, food safety incidents, and contamination of non halal raw ingredients [8],[9],[10] One of the potential risks occurred in 2014 on the cases of Hazelnut and Cadbury circulating in the market that were declared for containing swine DNA [11]. Additionally, in 2001, there was the case of Ajinomoto seasoning that was suspected of mixing its raw ingredients with lard in the manufacturing process. The use of raw ingredients such as pork, alcohol, carcasses, blood, forbidden (haram) animals and improperly slaughtered animals is forbidden even though the percentage of those ingredients is small [12] In another case, [13] mentioned the manipulation of halal labels from MUI for pork containing products which occurred in beef jerky and shredded chicken products available in the society. The undeveloped chocolate industry in Indonesia is characterized by low competitiveness. Improvement of the sustainable competitiveness chocolate industry need to be done. Several approaches (lean, agile, resilient, green) have been implemented in an effort to realize the sustainable competitiveness of the chocolate industry, but no one has integrated these four approaches directly. The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation of the LARG issue in bean to bar chocolate SMEs in Indonesia. The calculation of the LARG index is done to find out how far SMEs have implemented the LARG issue. In addition, a mapping of the interests and performance of each LARG sub-indicator and also a rich picture were also carried out to illustrate the current situation of the chocolate SMEs. The results show many LARG sub-indicators that have not been implemented properly. Green have the most sub-indicators that need to be improved, namely P G1 (collaboration with suppliers and consumers in protecting the environment), P G3 (natural resource use), P G4 (environmentally friendly design, innovation, operation and packaging), P G5 (environmentally friendly label), and P G10 (reduce inventory levels). Comparison of the LARG index calculations shows the LARG index implementation is still very low at 3.66 while the interest according to Experts is 4.39.
