The proposed rectifier utilizes the conventional 24-pulse parallelly connected rectifier with the addition of a passive current injection circuit. The passive current injection circuit consists of two additional lower rated power diodes which are connected to the secondary side of a dual tapped interphase transformer. THD value of the AC side current is found 3.64% which is very low and it also fulfills the IEEE 519-1992 standard. The simplicity of the proposed rectifier scheme makes it flexible to operate compared to other complex looking existing designs. This paper also explains the operation and simulation process of the proposed rectifier scheme with proper figures and equations.","PeriodicalId":138634,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130259443","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Every year many people being stricken, many of them losses their lives and a huge amount of property extermination being occurred because of vehicular misadventure. According to analysis reports on road accidents of recent years, it’s renowned that the main cause of road accidents resulting in deaths, severe injuries and monetary losses, is due to a drowsy or a sleepy driver. Drowsy state may be caused by lack of sleep, medication, drugs or driving continuously for long time period. But this sloppiness can bring preponderant torments in a victim’s life since it causes fatal damages of lives and properties. So in order to slenderize vehicle accidents it is essential to research an innovative technological system for prefiguring the occurrence of an accident on the basis of drivers’ drowsiness and distraction. The aim of our work is to Figure a system which will monitor driver’s drowsiness and distraction level based on eye tracking. A comparison has been made between the proposed method and other method. It has been shown that proposed method gives better accuracy than others.","PeriodicalId":138634,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129717606","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This paper illustrates the numerical analysis of the insertion of a thin Lead Telluride (PbTe) BSF layer between the ZnTe absorber layer and the back contact in the ultra-thin ZnTe solar cell is investigated by the wxAMPS simulation software. This PbTe BSF layer offers an extra hole tunneling action that produces a quasi ohmic contact near to the back contact and BSF region. The BSF layer minimizes the recombination losses and the quasi ohmic contact increases the carrier collection that improves the cell performance of the ZnTe solar cell. The simulated result was found 17.55% efficiency for the proposed ultra-thin cell without BSF and the improved cell efficiency was gained 22.15% for only $0.9{mu} m$ ZnTe layer with PbTe BSF layer. Besides, it was found higher thermal stability of the proposed cells where the temperature coefficient is of ${(-0.029%/^{circ} mathbf{k}).}$","PeriodicalId":138634,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128645816","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Boost converter has been used to enhance the voltage. Two batteries and the construction is such that the bicycle can run by one battery while charging the other at the same time. Practical data has been collected from Dhaka city to understand the real scenario. Maximum speed of this noiseless HPB is obtained about 25-30km per hour and it will cost only BDT – 27000. As both solar and wind energy is used hence day and night is no longer a matter of concern for charging battery and dependency upon the grid electricity. After full charge of a single battery it can travel up to 40 – 45km. However, the study can be a good initiative on the way to green vehicle without CO2 emission.","PeriodicalId":138634,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"148 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121988765","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is crucial to provide medication to the aged in due course. The elderly population can benefit from this device as it avoids expensive in-home medical care. By dismissing the patients or users from the error-prone responsibilities of interpreting medication directions may expand steadiness and prevent medication faults. By taking advantage of scheduling flexibility provided by medication directions, the device makes the user’s medication schedule easy to stick to. The main objective of this project is to provide a dispenser system which can operate both in manual and autonomous (via smartphone) mode.","PeriodicalId":138634,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"423 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"126712327","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

CdS is widely used buffer layer for chalcopyrite based photovoltaic cells and requires good crystalline property and less dislocation density as well as strain in conjunction with a thinner layer ensures good crystalline quality. The as deposited films were characterized by X-ray diffraction and the structural properties (crystal type, lattice alignment, lattice constant, crystalline size, microstrain, dislocation density, etc.) were analyzed. Analysis on structural properties shows that crystallite size increases and crystalline quality enhanced with higher RF power, while the dislocation density and developed strain declined for the same conditions. This investigation concluded that higher RF power sputtered CdS thin-films for lower time deposition can be more suitable for thin-film photovoltaic cell applications.","PeriodicalId":138634,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130696720","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The relays use pilot wires to find the ‘difference’ but the pilot wire itself creates so many problems. To eliminate the problems, in this paper an IoT based wireless current differential protection system is proposed based on Wi-Fi communication and is implemented as a small project work and has also been tested for the protection of a pseudo power system network. The work done here is a small project but with a small update this can be used for real life power system protection.","PeriodicalId":138634,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116881456","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Carbon Nanomaterial-based interconnects are one of the propositions of researchers and Graphene Nanoribbon (GNR) is the most leading pretender among all. In this research paper, the surface impedance response of GNRs has been simulated, analyzed and compared with respect to skin effect. First of all, skin depth response and data analysis of GNRs at high frequency has been covered for Copper, AsF5 (Tungsten) doped GNR and undoped GNR. Afterward, the surface impedance response of undoped and doped monolayer (one atomic thick carbon layer, 0. 34nm) GNRs have been examined under both anomalous skin effect (ASE, both p = 1 & 0) and normal skin effect (NSE) conditions up to 500GHz. To justify the better response, effects of Fermi energy level in different frequencies (100-300GHz) and layer width variation (20-60nm GNR slab) on impedance have also been investigated in both conditions.","PeriodicalId":138634,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"39 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"116921291","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Previous studies show a strong evidence of their associations with cancer risk in some cases. The detection method of these substances is very tough without chemical experts and can be even very time consuming. We propose a modified Dodecagonal photonic crystal fiber (PCF) for detecting these harmful chemical. Through numerical analysis it is shown that the introduced PCF can provide the relative sensitivity value of about 77.5% for methyl bromide, 77% for ethyl bromide, 79% for 1,3-dichloropropane, 79.8% for chloropicrin at the operating wavelength of 0.7μ m which are quite higher than previous results. In present days diagnosis of musculoskeletal conditions are dependent on radiographs. Sometimes doctors or radiologist can make an error that can mislead the diagnosis of abnormalities. So, we have been motivated to develop a novel Computer-Aided Diagnosis(CADx) system based on Deep Convolutional Neural Network (Deep CNN) that will help the doctors to identify musculoskeletal abnormalities through radiographs. We have used VGG-19, ResNet architecture to build a model for four types of study (Elbow, Wrist, Finger, and Humerus). 5-fold cross-validation method is also applied to evaluate our models. Then we have applied ensemble techniques to improve the model’s performance. Finally, based on some performance evaluating metrics the best one is selected for each of the study types and in aggregate. Our proposed technique tested on a benchmark radiographic dataset named ‘MURA’, and the final result is compared to other prominent techniques. For Elbow, Finger, Humerus, Wrist study, model performance was consecutively 86.45%, 82.13%, 87.15%, and 87.86%. Experimental consequences show that our proposed method is a condign strategy to resolve musculoskeletal abnormalities detection.","PeriodicalId":138634,"journal":{"name":"2019 5th International Conference on Advances in Electrical Engineering (ICAEE)","volume":"6 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-09-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131421306","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
