Other than mask and sanitizer, social distancing has become another big point of concern. In this work, we have dealt with social distancing issue in public vehicles. Our aim is to allocate passengers with the vehicles in an optimal manner, maintaining the constraint of social distancing. Our solution is based on the consideration that it is a smart city which allows V2V, V2P and V2I communication in 5G environment. The vehicles and passengers communicate between themselves to perform the allocation. Using the concept of queuing theory, we have tried to model the passengers standing in the bus-stoppage and provide allocation to them based on M/M/1 model. We have also tried to conclude the rate of incoming vehicle in a route so that passengers can get allocation even after maintaining the social distance and vehicles can also get required number of passengers without the wastage of seats. We have implemented our proposed model using omnet++ and SUMO and our simulated result establishes our assumptions based on the queuing theory.","PeriodicalId":137485,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Region 10 Symposium (TENSYMP)","volume":"95 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133217509","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In this paper, two different controlling techniques have been used one is the hysteresis current technique and the other one is pulse width modulation technique to design a shunt active power filter. The shunt active power filter provides better conversion efficiency and operates at a very low switching frequency. The overall performance of the shunt active power filter is evaluated by way of the THD of supply current. The THD is reduced within the acceptable limit with the aid of regulating various parameters and power factors close to unity. The effectiveness of the SAPF has been validated with the aid of the significant simulation outcomes completed in the MATLAB/Simulink platform.","PeriodicalId":137485,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Region 10 Symposium (TENSYMP)","volume":"16 4 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"133298787","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Existing symbolic analysis tools have demonstrated to be efficient in detecting many of the security vulnerabilities, but by virtue of the complex nature of the analysis they perform to detect vulnerable paths, there is a considerable increase in search time with an increase in depth. Cryptocurrencies have recently achieved the milestone of a USD 2 trillion market cap and with such a high volume of assets involved, the need for an efficient and scalable security vulnerability detection tool in an ever-increasing list of tokens becomes of utmost priority. This paper proposes a deep learning based approach for the prediction of security vulnerabilities in ERC-20 token smart contracts. The proposal proposed by this paper is based on the use of Long Short-Term Memory neural network architecture on smart contract opcodes which are in form of sequential data. The proposed solution achieves an accuracy of 93.26% when tested on ERC-20 smart contracts collected from Ethereum mainnet and thus proves to be an efficient alternative for existing symbolic tools.","PeriodicalId":137485,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Region 10 Symposium (TENSYMP)","volume":"138 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134021531","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The ensemble model consists of CNN, LSTM, and self-attention to effectively learn the relationship between gait data. The model was trained using a triplet loss to map each data to a better embedding vector of latent space. The experimental results showed that the accuracy was improved in recognizing people by using the proposed ensemble learning while reducing the size of the model by half.","PeriodicalId":137485,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Region 10 Symposium (TENSYMP)","volume":"13 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115612076","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Forcing the catheter contact with the cardiac tissue surface exerts a direct force on the tissue to transfer heat energy to a target tissue. Excessive force might be overheating and perforating the heart tissue's surface, whereas deficient force might limit the ablation lesion to insufficient dimensions. Thus, the effects of catheter contact force in generating effective lesions and its part of the ultimate success of a radiofrequency catheter cardiac ablation procedure. Against this backdrop, the purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of catheter contact force on biophysical properties of the ablation lesion formation in radiofrequency catheter cardiac ablation. The eight contact force levels (2, 4, 6, 10, 15, 20, 30, and 40 gf) were applied to the heart tissue surface at the perpendicular orientation and repeated six times at each contact force. And then, lesion surface diameter, lesion width diameter, and lesion depth were measured. The results revealed that the catheter contact force has a significant correlation (P < 0.0001) with lesion surface diameter, lesion width diameter, lesion depth, and lesion volume. When contact force was increased, all ablation dimensions also increased. This current in vitro study demonstrated a substantial impact of the catheter contact force on the ablation lesion formation's biophysical properties in radiofrequency catheter cardiac ablation.","PeriodicalId":137485,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Region 10 Symposium (TENSYMP)","volume":"110 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115750433","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Yet, the technology advancements have provided the attackers with enough resources to get the password by trying out diverse means. In addition, there is a burden of entering a password when the user wants to access the computer, which is comprehended as discomfort to the user. Given this discomfort, the users often leave the computer in an unlocked state while moving away. The computer in this situation is most vulnerable and makes it susceptible to lunchtime attacks.To address the aforementioned issues, we propose a method called smart authentication that requires minimal user interaction with the computer. Smart authentication encompasses the concepts of authentication, de-authentication, and re-authentication under the same hood. The proposed method uses continuous authentication so that the concepts called de-authentication and re-authentication can be implemented with an insignificant effort. Considering the constraints associated with password-based authentication, second factors of authentication have been introduced as an additional security feature. Due to the difficulty of carrying extra hardware components around all of the time, the proposed approach considers the smartphone device as the second factor. Hardware cost is another aspect that ascends scalability concerns to most of these approaches. The proposed approach aims to use existing hardware commonly found in modern desktop machines and thereby decrease the cost factor of scalability drastically.","PeriodicalId":137485,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Region 10 Symposium (TENSYMP)","volume":"20 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115440979","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

To support RTA, high performance needs to be ensured for the worst-case latency, not just average latency. However, since a Wi-Fi network essentially operates based on access category (AC) using EDCA mechanism, even RTA traffic should be allocated for priority order traffic. This pertains to the problem of long delay encountered during channel access, which results in applications not being guaranteed for extremely low latency. This paper proposes a new EDCA operation for supporting RTA in 802.11be, which is in the process of standard development. As a result of extensive simulation, it was confirmed that there is 76.57% less average latency on 802.11be through the proposed EDCA operation on applications such as real-time gaming compared to the original multi-user EDCA (MU-EDCA) mechanism.","PeriodicalId":137485,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Region 10 Symposium (TENSYMP)","volume":"215 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"115512125","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, researchers have barely scratched the superficials of food image classification till now. To evaluate the dietary aptitudes of people from various ethnicities, the classification of their traditional foods makes a huge impact. That’s what steered us into the classification of seven traditional foods in Bangladesh. In this regard, our key contribution to this aspect is the development of a dataset of Traditional Bengali Food Image (TBFI) including images of seven different classes of traditional Bengali foods: Biriyani, Panta Ilish, Khichuri, Fuchka, Roshogolla, Dim Vuna & Kala Vuna. For this, a scratch model incorporating Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) has been developed, rectifying to another vital contribution. As conventional Neural Network doesn’t perform well in case of image datasets, the CNN approach has been followed in view of its high accuracy, computational power with efficiency and automatic recognition of important features without any human oversight. Moreover, transfer learning approach with fine tuned VGG16 has also been used for TBFI classification. The proposed model in this paper has generated a culminated outcome upon our TBFI dataset with an average accuracy of 98% in classifying the traditional Bengali food images.","PeriodicalId":137485,"journal":{"name":"2021 IEEE Region 10 Symposium (TENSYMP)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2021-08-23","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124479564","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
