This research is focused on analyzing the need for teaching materials, desired teaching methods and student language learning strategies. This research is a case study involving 136 Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and Islamic Religion Teacher Education (PGMI) students. The data was collected from respondents by conducting surveys and interviews. Survey data were analyzed using SPSS and Thematic analysis was used to analyze data from interviews. The results of this study indicateed that speaking skill is the skill that is mainly needed by students. Furthermor the development of vocabulary is also the main focus of the students. The results of this study with regard to learning methods show that students like mixed methods. In reference to the learning strategy, the students used variety and wide range of learning strategies. The findings of this study indicate that in the current era of education modernization, the Salafiah Islamic Boarding School 'adatuddaren still exists even though the number has indeed decreased but not too significantly. Religious diversity and customs inherent in community life, but does not mean it makes the pluralistic Indonesian society divided and fragmented. Precisely these differences condition they respect and value between one another. Despite the fact that the majority of Indonesian people are Muslims, but the application of the laws of force in it are not necessarily subject to the laws of Islam alone. In the matter of implementation of the division of the estate, Indonesia's Muslim population is very varied, either by using the Islamic inheritance law as well as the customary inheritance law. Islamic inheritance executed by referring to the rules contained in the Compilation of Islamic Law which is certainly a source of law of the KHI major source of al-Quran and al-Hadith that there must be collaboration mujtahids interpretation of a well-formulated for the benefit of Indonesian Muslims. This research is a quantitative research with correlational approach. The population in this research is all Islamic Religious Education Teachers in junior high school in Jambi City, the sample in this research is 58 teachers. Data collected through questionnaire. Data analysis technique using data normality test analysis, data linearity test, partial correlation test and multiple test. Hypothesis testing using path analysis with significance level a = 0,05. Three conclusions of the research are: 1) there is a positive and significant relationship between Pedagogic Competence with Teacher Creativity with correlation coefficient of 0.728 and contribution 53,1%. 2), a positive relationship between Work Motivation with Teacher Creativity with Coefficient correlation of 0,575 and contribution 31,3%. 3), it was also found positive relationship between Pedagogic Competence and Work Motivation with Teacher Creativity with a correlation coefficient of 0.767 and 58.8% contribution. This research found that first, the Head Office of Religious Affairs Jambi City has a strategy to increase public services in the field of Islamic education, but the Head of the Office of Religious Affairs in Jambi City only involves some personnel clerks. The research was motivated by 1) APBS planning carried out by the Principal was only formulated by school managerial decision makers, was not discussed openly with all existing human resources, 2) there was still limited training by the Principal regarding the preparation of the APBS, 3) Principals had difficulty adjusting the APBS plan with needs, and 4) the assessment of the implementation of the APBS is not effective. This research uses qualitative methods that are based on the philosophy of postpositivism. Data is obtained through participation observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research, it is known that the sources and budget allocations are still limited. there are still problems with the process, namely: a) Still difficult for budget users to specify budget requirements, b) The ability of administrative personnel to manage BOS is limited, c) school budget allocation as a source of school development is still not in accordance with the real needs of schools and d) Limitations of school principals carry out continuous monitoring.
