One of the most important issues related to security and safety factors in buildings, which occupies a great place in the awareness of the architect, so it is necessary to raise awareness of design considerations in order to help reduce losses and limit the fire in its place without causing damage to the rest of the building parts. Where it was identified through the research on the concept of fire from a chemical point of view and its causes, whether they are (human - natural) causes. Columns - ceilings - floors, stairs, etc). These considerations and limitations need to be moved from being a general awareness to binding laws and regulations in order to ensure the safety of lives and facilities until they are settled in the architect’s awareness. Where the research aims to highlight and clarify these determinants related to how to apply security and safety factors and apply this to the architectural design. The research concluded with a set of recommendations in which he sees the necessity of obligating the architect to take them into account in the different stages of the building, starting from the design until the desired goal is achieved. An improved metaheuristic, named Archimedes Optimization Algorithm (AOA) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) are proposed; to determine the optimal alocations for EVCS considering the objectives of minimizing real power loss, minimizing cost, and maintaning the required voltage profile. In this work, the photovoltaic (PV) is used as a renewable source as a main feeder for the charge stations (CSs). The 46-bus distribution system in Elshorouk City, Cairo, Egypt is testing network as a conducts simulation tests. The results highlight the need of the EVCS sizing and sitting to improve the performance. The optimization technique (AOA) results is compared to the results of the other optimization technique algorithm (PSO). The air distribution in the living room was accurately predicted in this study using the CFD program. A five-bladed commercial ceiling fan is used to ventilate the room. The major goal of this study is to change the fan speed, fan height, and fan direction of rotation for the purpose of providing the thermal comfort conditions for individuals in the living room. Temperatures, velocities, the PPD index (Predicted Percentage Dissatisfied), and the PMV index (Predicted Mean Vote) distribution have all been taken into consideration while analyzing each case. The results showed that the best thermal comfort values are associated with fan placement in the center of the room at a height of 2.75 m from the floor at a rotational speed of 110 rpm. Recently, new perspectives for building skins appeared; some of them were enhancing their responsiveness to the surrounding environment. Biomimicry is also one of the innovative approaches that the world starts to head for, to find ideas and solutions for humans’ problems through mechanisms and materials found in nature. This paper is seeking to integrate biomimetic characteristics of plants into the design of a responsive skin as a way to reduce thermal loads in office buildings by adjusting the model and testing variables using Grasshopper as a simulation program to reach the best result. The study took place in Giza, Egypt, for a medium-sized office building consisting of 3 levels of open spaces with an area of 1,665 m 2 for each floor. The simulation compares between Zero-Forcing (ZF) and Minimum Square Error (MMSE) Detection Techniques performance through bit-error-rate analysis. The simulation includes different scenarios for vehicular communication: The Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) and the Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I). Firstly, the Non-Line-of-Sight (NLOS), secondly the Line-of-Sight (LOS) scenarios. Moreover, the simulation considers the effect of path-loss and noise on transmitted signal, besides the comparison with QAM (Quadratic amplitude modulation), QPSK (quadratic pulse shift keying) and (Binary pulse shift keying) BPSK modulations. The simulation result is useful for the design of vehicle communication system including several cases of vehicles communication such as the V2V and V2I. The shut block and sills with different forms are employed to disturb water and dissipate great amount of water energy through formation of a hydraulic jump in the stilling basin. Engineers have designed and used many alternative kinds of energy dissipators in order to shield hydraulic structures against scouring. The most task of the hydraulic designers is a way to dissipate a major part of water energy behind the vertical/radial gates by using more practical tools. The aim of this study is to get a better place to put the non-traditional sills to dissipate the resulting energy behind the vertical control gates. The hydraulic installations resulting from high speeds and different flows, which result in the occurrence of scour and erosion of the waterway behind these structures. The authors install a sill in several unconventional forms and study the efficient in dissipating kinetic energy. downstream hydraulic structures by installing it on relative dimensions of the gate L b / L f . Where Lf is that the length of the floor, Lb, distance from the gate, this was achieved to see the simplest position of the sill, aiming to reach the most energy dissipation and also the minimum length for the hydraulic jump. Experimental study has been conducted in glassed wall flume with square cross section of (30 cm x 30 cm) and length of 4.00 m with transparent vertical sides, located in hydraulic lab Faculty of Engineering - Al-Azhar University in Cairo, levels and water depths are measured. As well as the levels and depths of scour within the channel sector. The effect of the sill on different positions was investigated and also the results were discussed. The Glass Fiber Reinforced Epoxy GFRE is a sustain material that provides resistance against salt and sulphates. Experimental program of circular CFT columns was carried out to verify the applicability of the ACI provisions using available local materials, which consists of six specimens divided into two groups: reinforced and un-reinforced CFT columns, studied parameters were: compressive strength of CFT columns, axial strain, hoop strain, load – strain behavior, and failure behavior. It was found that satisfying the ACI requirements achieves a conservative evaluation of CFT ultimate compressive strength and axial strain of concrete with average factor of safety of 2.15 in predicting compressive strength. An applicable design model proposed depending on ACI 318 [3] and ACI 440.02 [4] specification, providing reasonable prediction of confined concrete strength 𝑓 𝑐𝑐′ and the size effect of CFT columns. Also, its connection with several variables such as the geographical dimension, communities, and the quality of vehicles and roads has contributed to the exacerbation of the phenomenon, Therefore, it is necessary to think about searching for tools that contribute to alleviating the phenomenon of traffic accidents, and among these tools is the geographic information system (GIS). In this research, we are going to study and analyse the traffic accidents that occurred between 2019 and 2021 in Constantine Province, to know their spatial distribution and the extent of their dispersion and propagation. We have used the spatial analysis tools (distribution direction, the nearest neighbor method, distribution density…etc). Through it, we concluded that the traffic accidents are concentrated in the municipality of Constantine, which has high economic activities. On the Other hand, several varieties of fiber-reinforced concretes are now utilized in the building sector for a variety of purposes. This paper discusses the influence of using steel fiber on the compressive strength and splitting strength of high strength concrete with Nano-silica (NS) and/or silica fume (SF). The experimental effort consists of casting and testing 16 distinct mixes. All of the mixes have the same cement content, and some have the same water content and aggregate content, but they differ in factors such as the quantity of NS, SF, and steel fiber. The mixes have been categorized into three main groups. In group one, the impact of adding 3% SF and/or 2% NS was investigated. In group two, the effect of adding 10% SF and the sources of type F admixtures was studied. In group three, two subgroups to study the effect of adding 5% SF, as well as the effect of w/c ratio were considered. As a results, it is established that the average compressive strength of mixes containing fibers to the compressive strength of samples without fibers at 7, 28 and 56 days is 1.04, 1.0 and 1.12, respectively.
