Photovoltaic (PV) cell waste heat is dispersed, using aluminum fins. The tests were conducted out at a variety of ambient temperatures and with varying levels of illumination. Three test panel were used, the first one used a freestanding photovoltaic system module as a model. The second has a water-cooling system as well, where the water passes through a serpentine heat exchanger, and the third has a fin cooling system, in which water passes through a rectangular helical heat exchanger and fins put on It is equipped with a water-cooling system. as well, although the water passes through a serpentine heat exchanger. Figures (1) and (2) (Serpentine and rectangular helical with fins). The suggested cooling technique significantly increases the produced power and the photovoltaic cell's electric efficiency (helical form) via fins, according to experimental data. At 6 LPM, power climbed to 76.85W and efficiency increased to 9.97%, a performance gain of 38.7% above the uncooled panel.","PeriodicalId":131968,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Al-Azhar University Engineering Sector","volume":"33 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"134547355","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main motivation for this study is the impact of the daily load profile combined with electric vehicles (EVs) on the grid. Unless the EV integration with load is monitored and controlled, the MG may experience an unexpectedly high or low load. So, EMS is a trend in recent years for optimal planning of MG. On the other hand, the available energy stored in the energy storage Battery can be utilized to free the distribution system from some of the congested load at certain times or to allow the grid to charge more EVs at any time of the day, including peak hours. This work was implemented by using four metaheuristic algorithms (Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), Gravitational Search Algorithm (GSA), Hybrid population-based algorithm (PSOGSA), and Capuchin Search Algorithm (CapSA) for optimal operation with minimum total daily cost without and with EVs included in MG by two different daily profile of EV. The MG used in this paper consisted of a diesel generator (DG), Battery storage device, photovoltaic (PV) system, and Wind turbine unit (WT). For a more dispatchable practical MG, Emissions from DG and deterioration of storage devices in addition to the cost of charging the EVs have been taken into account. The results demonstrate that CapSA is a suitable method for generating robust models for EMS. This means that the proposed CapSA approach can be applied in a wide range of complex nonlinear systems.","PeriodicalId":131968,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Al-Azhar University Engineering Sector","volume":"64 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130945979","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

As a result of the evolution of the technology in all fields, the modeling technique of building information has emerged. It has made a difference in designers', executors' and decision makers' perception of the entire construction and construction process. from design to management and operation, which had a significant impact on the construction industry and increasing demand for this technology locally, regionally and globally, which in turn created a gap and a lack of competencies required for such technologies in the labor market as a result of their increasing demand and many specialists in this field believe that the education sector is dependent on it to carry out this task by bridging the gap between education and industry, As well as raising the awareness of students to prepare them for the construction profession in line with the labor market. The State develops education at all stages. In confirmation of this goal, The National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education “NAQAAE”, Authority promulgated National Academic Reference Standards. (NARS) as a measure of accreditation of educational institutions, and through Egypt's Vision 2030, which provides for the activation of accreditation rules and quality in line with international standards, has issued standards for the engineering sector (NARS,2018) Where the murals and competencies of engineering graduates in general and the graduate of the architecture program in particular are identified, in order to keep pace with the architectural education of the labor market, it is necessary for the institutions of architectural education to achieve these murals through their different curricula . and aimed at achieving them in architecture engineering programs In the view of the research, building information modelling technology can play a significant role in achieving these competencies by analyzing them to more detailed competencies with a view to reaching a new strategy for achieving them, This is the study's finding of the effectiveness of the building information modelling technique in achieving the most of these competencies and departments of the Architecture Engineering Program.","PeriodicalId":131968,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Al-Azhar University Engineering Sector","volume":"16 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"117105026","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The oyster shells (OS) were washed and milled via high energy ball mill. The produced castings were fabricated with various content of the OS particles as (0-15 Wt.%). The effect of oyster shell particles (OS) on the microstructures, mechanical properties and corrosion behavior of AA7075/OS composites has been studied. The microstructure results revealed a uniform distribution of oyster shell particles within AA7075 matrix. Compression, brinell hardness, and impact tests of the sample were carried out to identify the mechanical properties of the composite. The hardness was increased from 37%, 61% and 88.7% for AA7075 reinforced with 5, 10 and 15% OS composite compared with unrienforced AA7075. On the other hand, the ultimate compressive strength was improved from 10.7%, 19.8% and 25.9% for AA7075 reinforced with 5, 10 and 15% OS composite compared with unreinforced AA7075. The corrosion rate and weight loss method were carried out by immersing the specimens in 0.1M NaOH and 0.1M H 2 SO 4 solutions. Results revealed that the rate of corrosion and mass loss were decreased with an increase of mass fraction up to 15%.","PeriodicalId":131968,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Al-Azhar University Engineering Sector","volume":"24 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125707727","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Chemical stabilization has been proved to be effective alternative solution to overcome the undesirable swelling behavior. This research highlights the effect of adding sodium chloride salts to expansive soil in improving swelling characteristics and change in soil index properties. An experimental program developed to investigate the effect of salt water on the engineering properties of high swelling clays. The laboratory tests were carried out in the soil mechanics laboratory of Al Azhar University. The materials used in this research were silty clay obtained from Bait El Watan project in New Cairo city and saline water at various NaCl concentrations of (5, 10,20,30,50 and 60%). A series of laboratory tests were carried out. Based on the obtained results, A concentration of 20% NaCl showed optimum improvement in swelling properties. To simulate field conditions, an experimental model was constructed to evaluate the effect of salt water with optimum concentration on expansive soil. However, the results showed that swelling properties of soil were optimized at 20%Nacl concentration. Swelling heave readings as recorded from large scale experimental model testing improved from 1.525mm to 1.355mm for original and treated soil, with a reduction of 11%. It is also observed that swelling heave values measured for the treated soil sample when re-immersed in fresh water increased by 145% at the top of soil.","PeriodicalId":131968,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Al-Azhar University Engineering Sector","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"131577740","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is Eco-friendly, simple, easy to install, and available in each site location. The main components of the PV water pumping system are PV modules, inverter, control, metallic structure, and submersible or surface water pump. The main parameters affecting the performance of the solar water pumping system are the PV module tilt angle and orientation as they affect the solar radiation falling, electric power output and amount of daily water produced. The experimental work is designed, installed and tested in the solar energy department, Engineering and Renewable Energy Research Institute, National Research Centre, Dokki, Giza, Egypt. In the current study the system performance in the four seasons at different tilt angle and orientations is evaluated. The solar radiation falling on the PV modules and the electric power produced are measured for different tilt angles and orientations in the four seasons. Also the daily water produced for different tilt angles and orientations in the four seasons is estimated. It is found that for south facing and tilt angles 0, 10, 40, and 80, the maximum value of daily water produced is occured in Summer while the minimum value is occoured in winter. It is found also that the daily water produced, m 3 is affected by both tilt angles and azimuth angles in each seasons, the maximum value of the daily water produced, m 3 in summer with tilt angle equal 10 and azimuth angle equal 0 while the maximum value attained in winter with tilt angle equal 60 and azimuth angle equal 0. The maximum value of summer, autumn, winter, and spring were 32 m 3 , 27.25 m 3 , 27.25 m 3 , 27.50 m 3 for south facing and tilt angles 10, 40, 60, 40 respectively.","PeriodicalId":131968,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Al-Azhar University Engineering Sector","volume":"101 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130140436","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This has been estimated by the European Space Agency (ESA). Furthermore, as time passes, these satellites represent debris. Such accumulated debris threaten the daily uses of space-based applications satellites and future missions. The potential danger would persist unless the international space community considers the risks and join forces to mitigate the danger. Today, only ideas have been proposed by the various space agencies without taking much action. Each of these ideas deals with a specific size of debris. Thus, this paper proposes an integrated design to remedy the situation. It is a satellite with robotic arms, electromagnetic mesh and onboard radar to detect, collect, shred and sort most of the debris larger than 1 cm. This material can, thus, be used as a source of raw material in a novel “made in space program.” It can be used as row material for 3d printers for metal and non-metals needed for the maintenance of the International Space Station (ISS) and other equipment of future space missions. This proposal is a premiere design and a start of a pilot model. Also proposed here is a recommendation for a sustainable financing model that can be established by space agencies by assigning a tariff for each future space flight. The tariff value could be determined based on, the extent of the mission’s lifetime, the size of the satellite, and the purpose of the mission.","PeriodicalId":131968,"journal":{"name":"Journal of Al-Azhar University Engineering Sector","volume":"82 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132220125","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
