Experimental and numerical studies researches show that using (FRP) materials to strengthen reinforced concrete (RC) beams in shear is an effective method. The purpose of this paper is to study the effect of strengthening self-compacting concrete beams using carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) fabrics with different wrapping schemes in shear. Five rectangular beams of a rectangular cross section of 100×250 mm and a length of 1650 mm were cast and tested under four-point bending. One beam was used as a control beam without external strengthening, while the other four beams were strengthened in shear using U-Wrapped CFRP with different widths and densities. The used CFRP led to an increase in the load-carrying capacity, failure load, displacement ductility ratio, and displacement ductility index, but energy ductility was decreased. The investigation results are presented in terms of ultimate load, deflection, tensile and compressive strains, and cracking pattern. relationship, between the control beam, SR, and the four strengthened beams S1, S2, S3, and S4. As shown, the deflections of strengthened beams S3 and S4 are smaller than those of the control beam up to its failure load. AISA is designed to switch between two different controls based on an index value. The first controller accelerates the system to reach the desired angle. The other controller is decelerating the system before approaching the desired angle. A reaction wheel (RW) is used to provide the torque required to rotate the satellite about its axis. The purpose of the controller is to change the rotational speed of the RW so that the satellite points in the correct direction. This comparison reveals that the AISA controller is much more efficient in maneuvering and accurate in contrast to fuzzy control. The control effort is preserved by 66% compared to the fuzzy control effort. This treatment process can remove small particles since the direct current is applied, and set them into motion. Also, electrocoagulation could decrease the remainder of waste production. This research concentrates on the use of electrocoagulation depending on a scaled open channel physical model using installed different types of electrodes such as Stainless Steel, Steel, and Aluminum to reduce the contaminants. The used electrodes have been installed parallel to the water flow direction in the stream, with a variation of four values of volts used in the experiment with the different spacing between electrodes 1cm, 2cm. The selected inflow water is Q=10 l/hr for the physical model has quality indicators limits such as COD, BOD, Total Coliform, and Fecal Coliform. Reliance on personal automobiles has resulted in widespread growth, severe traffic congestion, and few public transportation options. Overcrowding means an increase in harmful emissions and reliance on diesel-powered buses for most public transportation adds to the emissions produced. As a result, emerging technologies to reduce emissions and costs, and to attract more travelers to improved transit services should be considered. This research aims to estimate electric-powered buses’ social costs and benefits represented by a reduction in vehicle operating cost, travel time, and air pollution with a concentration on the calculation to using formulas that suit the Egyptian conditions. Benefits calculation models will be applied to a specific bus route, which has two working models of buses on it. One is diesel and the other is an electrically powered bus. The comparison between them was made using data collected from Mwasalat Misr- one of the companies working in the field of passenger transport in Egypt - and also by conducting interviews and asking questions to some makers- decision and users of both busses models. Results indicate that one electric bus has a much higher equivalent annual value (EAV) than one fossil fuel- bus. Plus, the annual maintenance cost of one diesel bus is also higher than the electric bus. Many initiatives have emerged to adopt prefabricated construction systems for Egyptian buildings. However, the decision to adopt such new construction systems for building Egyptian housing still depends on the economic performance. With the increased awareness of the beneficial effects of adopting the sustainability concept, sustainability indicators: social, environmental, and economic dimensions have become drawing the major framework of the Egyptian housing prospective vision. This research aims to identify and develop the comprehensive performance criteria that control the selection of the appropriate construction systems for building Egyptian housing. To achieve the research objective, 28 performance criteria were developed based on an in-depth review of previous studies. A questionnaire survey was conducted using the Likert Five-Scale of importance. The 28 performance criteria were divided into 4 categories (i.e., economic, environmental, social, and technical). The questionnaire targeted Egyptian housing construction practitioners from engineers, architects, designers, contractors...etc. The authors found that the most important criteria have belonged to the economic, social, and technical categories. The environmental criteria ranked lowest among the criteria. Despite that, the relative importance indices for all the environmental criteria were higher than the medium range. There is no doubt that the tremendous technological developments, especially in software, have brought about a scientific revolution that has affected various architectural fields. With the technical development in virtual reality applications and simulation, it has become possible to create a virtual environment by deluding the recipient's eye with three-dimensional models or surfaces that do not exist and are formed in a vacuum using advanced hologram techniques. So in this research, the technology of three-dimensional holograms using laser beams, known as holograms, has been shed light on, identifying how to create virtual spaces utilizing this technology. Thus, the designer can easily change his design ideas and present them to the recipient according to his functional needs, in addition to creating a state of renewal and continuous creativity in design.
