This researchisto describe the meaning of the resistance of the natives was fighting the colonials in the novel Cantik Itu Luka by Eka Kurniawan. The results showed that the postcolonial form of indigenous resistance to the invaders in the novel Cantik was wounded by Eka Kurniawan. It was known that the characters in the novel did not want to defend the western tradition and the discrimination of the Dutch colonial government which gave the indigenous and Dutch limits in gaining freedom in their lives. The character in the novel believes that he has the same rights in obtaining equality in life as Westerners. People in the novel “Cinta Itu Luka” realizedby the natives should not be stupid and easily controlled by Western nations. Therefore, my character seeks to defend his right to obtain freedom in life and not be bound to others. The meaning of the resistance of the natives in resisting the colonials in the novel Cantik Ini Luka by Eka Kurniawan is the reaction of the indigenous people at that time was diverse. Some refused, but there were those who welcomed kindly even cooperated and not a few who did not approve of it. The resistance is not only in terms of the grille but also openly in order to get independence even though there must be self-sacrifice both material and life. Penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk poskolonial resistensi pribumi terhadap penjajah dalam.Untuk mendeskripsikan makna perlawanan kaum pribumi dalam melawan kaum kolonial dalam novel Cantik Itu Luka karya Eka Kurniawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Bentuk poskolonial resistensi pribumi terhadap penjajah dalam novel Cantik itu luka karya Eka Kurniawan diketahui bahwa Tokoh dalam novel tidak ingin mempertahankan tradisi barat dan diskriminasi pemerintah kolonial Belanda yang memberi batas pribumi dan Belanda dalam memperoleh kebebasan dalam kehidupan mereka. Tokoh dalam novel tersebut berkeyakinan bahwa dia memiliki hak yang sama dalam memperoleh kesetaraan hidup seperti orang-orang Barat. Tokoh pada novel Cantik Itu Luka menyadari jika pribumi tidak seharusnya bodoh dan mudah dikuasai bangsa Barat. Oleh sebab itu, tokoh aku berusaha untuk mempertahankan haknya dalam memperoleh kebebasan dalam hidup dan tidak terikat pada orang lain. Makna dari perlawanan kaum pribumi dalam melawan kaum kolonial dalam novel Cantik Itu Luka karya Eka Kurniawan yaitu Reaksirakyat pribumi saat itu beragam. Ada yang menolak, namun ada yang menyambut ramah bahkan bekerja sama dan tidak sedikit yang tidak menyetujuinya. Perlawanan tersebut tidak hanya dari segi gerilya namun juga secara terang-terangan agar bisa mendapatkan kemerdekaan walaupun harus ada pengorbanan diri baik materi maupun nyawanya. The research is aimed to describe (1) The structure of The Legend of Asal Usul Nama Pulang Pisau (The Origin of The Name Pulang Pisau) and (2) The educational values contained in The Legend of Asal Usul Nama Pulang Pisau. This research applied a qualitative approach and descriptive method. The data of The Legend of Asal Usul Nama Pulang Pisau were obtained through interviews with informants. Based on the analysis of the structure of the legend and the educational values, the description of the intrinsic elements is obtained, such as themes, plot, characters, settings, mandates, values of moral education, religion, heroism, history, and customs / traditions which contained in The Legend of Asal Usul Nama Pulang Pisau. The conclusions of this research are: The Legend of Asal Usul Nama Pulang Pisau conveys the theme of the origin of place names, uses chronological plot, does not mentions too many characters and names of characters, the place sets along the rivers and in the forest, the time setting is in the Asang era, and delivers the message of cooperation and mutual respect. The Legend of Asal Usul Nama Pulang Pisau contains several values such as moral education of being careful in making decisions, traditional education of nomadic traditions and mutual cooperation, religious education which takes form in the rituals, the historical education which can be seen in the distribution of the indigenous Dayak Ngaju community, and the value of heroism and perseverance which is reflected in the character’s attitude. Key words: legendary, structure, education values, ngaju Abstrak Struktur dan Nilai Pendidikan dalam Legenda Asal Mula Nama Pulang Pisau. Penelitian bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) Struktur Legenda Asal Mula Nama Pulang Pisau, dan (2) nilai-nilai pendidikan yang terkandung dalam Legenda Asal Mula Nama Pulang Pisau. Metode penelitian pada penelitian ini, yaitu penelitian kualitatif dan menggunakan metode deskriptif dari sumber data Legenda Asal Mula Nama Pulang Pisau yang diperoleh melalui hasil wawancara dengan informan/narasumber. Berdasarkan analisis struktur cerita dan nilai pendidikan, maka diperoleh deskripsi unsur intrinsik, seperti tema, alur, tokoh, latar, amanat, nilai-nilai pendidikan moral, agama, kepahlawanan, sejarah, dan adat/tradisi yang terkandung dalam Legenda Asal Mula Nama Pulang Pisau. The purpose of the research are to describe the personality of Sasana and the inner conflict has went trough. This research use quality methode and expressive aprroach. The data research are taken from words, phrases, idoms, and sentences in teh novel “Pasung Jiwa”. The datas has been obtain were analyzed with the study of literature psychology. The results of the study showed there were deviation in the character of Sasana personality and the inner conflict that the character of Jaka Wani has been went through. Personality deviations found in the character Sasana. Sasana change her appearance into a woman. Appearance performance is related to clothes and how to dress up that resembles a woman. The inner conflict experienced by Sasana is related to the change in appearance she does. Sasana feels free when he becomes Sasa, but on the other hand Sasana does not want to hurt his parent’s by becoming a woman. In the character of Jaka Wani no personality deviations were found. The inner conflict experienced by Jaka Wani was feeling guilty for Sasana for leaving Sasana while doing a demonstration. Jaka Wani also felt unhappy while working as a laborer in a television manufacturing factory. Key words: personality, id, ego, superego, psychology literature Abstrak Representasi Kepribadian Tokoh Sasana dan Jaka Wani dalam Novel “Pasung Jiwa” Karya Okky Madasari. Tujuan penelitina ini untuk mendekskripsikan kepribadian tokoh Sasana dan konflik batin yang dialami tokoh Jaka Wani. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan ekspresif. Data penelitian berupa adalah kata, frasa, ungkapan, dan kalimat dalam novel. Sumber data penelitian ini berupa novel “Pasung Jiwa”. Data yang sudah didapat dianalisis dengan kajian psikologi sastra. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat penyimpangan kepribadian pada tokoh Sasana dan konflik batin yang dialami oleh tokoh Jaka Wani. Penyimpangan kepribadian yang ditemukan pada tokoh Sasana adalah Sasana mengubah penampilan dirinya menjadi wanita. Penampilan dalm hal ini berkaitan dengan pakaian dan cara berdandan yang menyerupai wanita. Konflik batin yang dialami Sasana berkaitan dengan perubahan penampilan yang dilakukannya. Sasana merasa bebas saat menjadi Sasa, tetapi di sisi lain Sasana tidak ingin melukai hati orang tuanya dengan menjadi seorang wanita. This study describes the individual and socio-cultural aspects of the Toraja tribe, as reflected in the novel Puya ke Puya. This is qualitative research using the approach of the sociology of literature. This research's object is a novel entitled \"Puya ke Puya,\" written by Faisal Odang. The focus of this research is the socio-cultural aspects of the Toraja tribe. This research's data are in the form of words, sentences, and discourses in the novel. This research combines the sociology of literature and anthropology of literature. Through these two approaches, the researcher describes the socio-cultural aspects of the community of Toraja. Data that have been collected were analyzed using a data analysis technique model developed by Talcott Parson.The social aspects of the Toraja tribe in the novel include economic systems such as livelihoods, government systems, and social community systems such as social strata. Meanwhile, the cultural aspects of the Toraja culture include belief systems, myths, and culture. Then the individual aspect consists of the individual aspect by reviewing the characters in the novel. The results of data analysis show that the social and cultural aspects of Toraja in Puya ke Puya related to the dominant livelihood system are agriculture and livestock; The two sectors have a major influence on the social and cultural life of the Toraja people. Then in terms of governance, the Toraja community has a customary community led by Pennuluan; and the last is the caste system in Toraja, which is composed of four castes, which are the basis of all the implementation of cultural life in Toraja. The next portrait concerning cultural aspects is a belief system called Aluk Todolo. The Aluk Tadolo belief system is the foundation of Toraja's culture, such as the two major rituals, namely the Rambu Tuka \"or happiness ceremony and the Rambu Solo\" as a mourning ceremony. The last one is that the novel shows the individual aspects of Toraja's community, which are generally still bound by culture and society. The development of online shops via the internet has mushroomed in Indonesia, followed by the rapid advancement of buying and selling online which can be seen from the many online advertisements that appear for free on social media. The role of persuasion language in online advertisement impressions is very important to be used so that potential buyers are interested and more confident in buying the products offered.The method used in this study is the documentation of online ad writing. Research results (1) Motto or watchword taken from quotations adapted to the product offered, data or product facts offered to consumers and their uses, and product excellence includes product excellence and is presented should be in the form of persuasive sentences (2) Persuasion language used in transactions buying and selling online can be seen from the percentage of online advertising in the form of elements of persuasion language marked by the use of a motto or watchword, data or facts, the superiority of the advertised product, and the use of persuasive sentences in the online advertisement. (3) Persuasive techniques used in online transactions, namely rationalization, suggestion, conformity, compensation, replacement, and projections (4) The most dominant persuasive technique used in the persuasive language of online advertising is the suggestion technique.. Peranan bahasa persuasi dalam tayangan iklan online sangat penting digunakan agar calon pembeli tertarik dan lebih yakin untuk membeli produk yang ditawarkan.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi dari tulisan iklan online. The purpose of this study was to describe the structure of poetry by class X-B students at SMKS Unggulan Husada Banjarmasin and to examine the didactic value of poetry by class X-B students at SMKS Unggulan Husada Banjarmasin. Data collection was carried out from May 30 to June 30, 2021 through an online form of poetry writing performance test. The data analyzed were 18 pieces of poetry. The data collection procedures in this study were reading, identifying, codifying, and classifying according to the research focus. Data analysis uses deep meaning understanding techniques. Checking the validity of the data is done through triangulation techniques. The results of the study found that the structure that builds a poem consists of a physical structure and an inner structure. The physical structure consists of typography, rhyme, images, figure of speech, concrete words, and diction. The inner structure consists of theme, tone, and atmosphere. After analyzing the poems by class X-B students of FKK Vocational High School Husada Banjarmasin, it was found that the poems contained the entire physical and mental structure. The didactic values contained in the poem are in the form of moral and religious didactic values. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan struktur puisi karya siswa kelas X-B SMKS Unggulan Husada Banjarmasin dan mengkaji nilai didaktis dari puisi karya siswa kelas X-B SMKS Unggulan Husada Banjarmasin. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan 30 Mei-30 Juni 2021 melalui daring berupa tes unjuk kerja menulis puisi. Data yang dianalisis berjumlah 18 buah puisi. Prosedur pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah membaca, mengidentifikasi, mengodifikasi, dan mengklasifikasikan sesuai dengan fokus penelitian. Analisis data menggunakan teknik pemahaman arti secara mendalam. Pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan melalui teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ditemukan struktur yang membangun sebuah puisi terdiri atas struktur fisik dan struktur batin. Struktur fisik terdiri atas tipografi, rima, imaji, majas, kata konkret, dandiksi. Struktur batin terdiri atas tema, nada, dan suasana. Setelah dilakukan analisis pada puisi karya siswa kelas X-B FKK SMKS Unggulan Husada Banjarmasin diperoleh bahwa puisi-puisi tersebut memuat keseluruhan struktur fisik dan batin. Nilai didaktis yang terdapat dalam puisi tersebut berupa nilai didaktis moral dan agama. This research aims to (1) describe the cultural values as represented in the pemali belonging to the Dayak Ngaju community towards nature, (2) describe the cultural values as represented in the pemali belonging to the Dayak Ngaju community towards the human interaction, (3) describe the cultural values as represented in the pemali belonging to the Dayak Ngaju community towards the spiritual performance. This research uses (1) recording techniques, both audio and audiovisual, (2) recording, (3) in-depth interviews, (4) literature study and documentation analysis.The results of the study show that the representation of cultural values of the pemali of the Dayak Ngaju Community in relation to nature includes: (1) the prohibition of not asking for permission when going to farming; (2) prohibition to kill animals carelessly while hunting; (3) prohibition of burning forest carelessly; (4) mapas lewu 'cleaning the village'; (5) manyanggar (‘someone should excuse me from the forest rangers’ otherwise it can cause danger and take victims); (6) prohibition of making images (statues) of animals carelessly in a forest inhabited by supernatural beings. The representations of cultural values of the pemali of the Dayak Ngaju Community concerning the human interactions, including: (1) prohibitions against marrying in the wrong lineage or the same lineage; (2) prohibition to take or interfere with the rights of others; (3) prohibition of entering another's house without permission; (4) prohibition to pick up the fallen fruit without the owner's consent; and (5) prohibition to swear/curse children carelessly.The representations of cultural values of the pemali of the Dayak Ngaju Community to the spiritual performance, including (1) the obligation to provide food to village guards (Pakanan Patahu); (2) the duty to always remember the Almighty while earning a living; (3) prohibition to laugh at broomstick; (4) prohibition of picking sawang leaves in front of the sangar patahu. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan representasi nilai budaya pemali masyarakat Dayak Ngaju terhadap alam. (2) Mendeskripsikan representasi nilai budaya pemali masyarakat Dayak Ngaju terhadap interaksi sesama manusia. Chudori. This study aims to describe the forms of violence and resistance in the novel Laut Bercerita by Leila S. Chudori. The description is done by discourse analysis. Critical discourse analysis examines various social forms and their imbalances displayed through text, then relates them to social and political contexts. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis approach Based on the analysis, there are three types of violence, namely physical, verbal, and bureaucratic violence. The form of physical violence are beatings and torture. The form of verbal violence are to accuse and ridicule. Bureaucratic violence is shown in the form of a prohibition on joining a formal institution for people with a certain background and the prohibition of staging theater or poetry which are considered to carry certain ideologies. Meanwhile, there are two types of resistance representations, namely open resistance and closed resistance. Open resistance is shown in the form of demonstrations. Closed resistance is shown in the form of resistance to categories imposed on society. Key words: discourse practice, violence, representation AbstrakRepresentasi Kekerasan dalam Novel Laut Bercerita Karya Leila S. Chudori. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud kekerasan dan perlawanan dalam novel Laut Bercerita karya Leila S. Chudori. Deskripsi tersebut dilakukan dengan analisis wacana. Analisis wacana kritis mengkaji beragam bentuk sosial dan ketimpangannya yang ditampilkan melalui teks, kemudian menghubungkannya dengan konteks sosial dan politik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis wacana kritis Norman Fairclough. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, terdapat tiga jenis kekerasan, yaitu kekerasan fisik, verbal, dan birokratik. Kekerasan fisik dengan wujud pemukulan dan penganiayaan. Kekerasan verbal dengan wujud menuduh dan mengejek. Kekerasan birokratik ditunjukkan dalam wujud larangan bergabung dengan suatu institusi formal bagi orang dengan latar belakang tertentu dan larangan pementasan seni teater atau puisi yang dianggap membawa ideologi tertentu. Sedangkan, representasi perlawanan terdapat dua jenis, yaitu perlawanan terbuka dan perlawanan tertutup. Perlawanan terbuka ditunjukkan dalam wujud demonstrasi. Perlawanan tertutup yang ditunjukkan dalam bentuk penolakan terhadap kategori-kategori yang dipaksakan terhadap masyarakat. This study aims to describe the persuasive speech forms and persuasive patterns in the speeches of the Minister of Education and Culture in delivering policies. This research use a qualitative approach and descriptive method. Data collected by documentation techniques. The data obtained from this study in the form of words or series of words referring to persuasive speech. Data sources are twenty videos of the Minister of Education and Culture. The results showed that the forms of persuasive speeches delivered by the Minister of Education and Culture when delivering policies, are: (a) persuasive speech when inviting; (b) persuasive speech when giving mandatory; (c) persuasive speech when persuading; (d) persuasive speech when convincing and (e) persuasive speech when suggesting to the audience. Based on these forms of speech, the forms of a persuasive speech for inviting and persuading are more frequently used by the Minister of Education and Culture. The patterns in persuasive speeches spoken by the Minister of Education and Culture include (a) patterns of problem-solving in relation to the policy of free learning; (b) the causal pattern in relation to the causes of Indonesia being unable to progress and to the plan of 100 days; (c) the pros and cons patterns in relation to the impact of technological development; and (e) the patterns of motived orders in relation to attracting and focusing the attention of youth, as well as satisfying the motivational needs of youth regarding success. Based on these persuasive speech patterns, patterns of problem-solving and those of the motived orders are widely used by the Minister of Education and Culture to convince the public when delivering their programs. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini berupa kata atau rangkaian kata yang menjadi tuturan persuasif. Sumber data diperoleh dari dua puluh video menteri pendidikan dan kebudayaan. This study aimed to determine the structure, function, and to analyze the ritual speech of malabuh meaning in Banjar community, South Kalimantan. In examining this problem, researchers used a qualitative research with descriptive method. Sources of data in this study were some data of ritual speech that obtained from 10 informants who have experience in performing malabuh ritual. Data collection techniques used interview through recording the spoken speech by informants. Data analysis used transcription, identification, classification, and inference of data to determine the structure, function, and meaning of ritual speech. The result of the research concludes that the structure of the malabuh ritual speech has a structure consisting of one (1) verse, which is a maximum of 7 lines and a minimum of 1 line. This ritual speechs have the complete sentence structure and have structural elements consisting of greeting, intention, and purpose. Ritual speech of malabuh was functioned as an introduction or a tool to invoke God's power, either directly or through an intermediary by the mystical crocodile which is believed have the power to provide protection or to eliminate the disturbance. The ritual speech that analyzed with hermeneutic approach performed significantly as a communication medium for serving malabuh ritual offerings. Key words: malabuh, ritual speech, mystical crocodile, banjar community Abstrak Tuturan Ritual Malabuh pada Masyarakat Banjar Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui struktur, fungsi, dan menganalisis makna tuturan ritual malabuh pada masyarakat Banjar, Kalimantan Selatan. Dalam mengkaji masalah ini peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah data tuturan ritual yang didapat dari 10 informan yang memiliki pengalaman melakukan ritual malabuh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara melalui perekaman dan pencatatan tuturan lisan yang diucapkan oleh informan. Analisis data yang digunakan dengan pentraskripsian data, pengidentifikasian data, pengklasifikasian data, dan penyimpulan data untuk mengetahui struktur, fungsi, dan makna tuturan ritual malabuh. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa struktur tuturan ritual malabuh memiliki struktur yang terdiri dari terdiri dari satu (1) bait, dimana berjumlah paling banyak 7 baris dan paling sedikit 1 baris. Tuturan ritual malabuh ini memiliki struktur kalimat yang lengkap dan memiliki unsur pembangun struktur yang terdiri dari salam pembuka, unsur niat, dan unsur tujuan. Fungsi tuturan ritual malabuh sebagai pengantar atau alat untuk memohon kekuasaan Tuhan, baik secara langsung maupun melalui perantara buaya gaib yang dipercaya memiliki kekuatan untuk memberikan perlindungan atau dihilangkan gangguan yang sedang dihadapi.
