This study aims todescribe gender injustice in the Novel \"Drupadi\" and its effects on Drupadi characters.The Novel \"Drupadi\" is a research data source because it raises basic humanitarianissues, namely women, violence, gender injustice. The context is relevant to everyday lifeand is still a problem in life. In this study, the writer discusses the following issues: First,forms of gender injustice in the Novel \"Drupadi.\" Second, the influence of genderinjustice on Drupadi's character. Third, action against Drupadi figures shows genderinjustice.This study uses a feminist literary criticism approach because it focuses onfemale characters / unequal gender relations. The method used is a qualitativedescription; this method is to understand the forms of gender injustice contained in theDrupadi novel. The results showed: First, the existence of forms of gender injustice,namely (1)) Stereotypes: (2) Subordination (3) Marginalization (4) Violence: physical,psychological, verbal, and sexual abuse (5) Multiple burdens Second, the gender injusticeexperienced by Drupadi had a big impact on his personality. Two characteristicspossessed by Drupadi, namely good and bad qualities, form the image of feminist womenin Drupadi. The gender injustice experienced by the Drupadi figure pushed her to defendher rights and honor from the pressure of male power so that she could determine herown path in life. Third, Drupadi's resistance action through Expressing opinions,contesting, fighting. Novel Drupadi menjadi sumber data penelitiankarena mengangkat masalah kemanusiaan yang mendasar, yaitu tentang perempuan,kekerasan, ketidakadilan gender. Adapun konteksnya relevan dengan kehidupan seharihari dan sampai saat ini masih menjadi masalah dalam kehidupan. Pada penelitian inipenulis membahas tentang masalah: Pertama, bentuk-bentuk ketidakadilan gender dalamnovel Drupadi karya Seno Gumira Ajidarma. Kedua, pengaruh ketidakadilan genderterhadap diri tokoh Drupadi. Ketiga, aksi perlawanan tokoh Drupadi terhadapketidakadilan gender. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kritik sastra feminis karenafokus perhatiannya pada tokoh perempuan/relasi gender yang timpang. The approach in this study uses a qualitative approach. The data inthis study were in the form of speech data in teacher and student interactions obtained fromobservations, field notes, recording and interviews. The data analysis is carried out through threestages, namely (1) data reduction, (2) data presentation, and (3) inference / verification. From thethree data the final conclusions are obtained by triangulation and checking. Based on the results ofthe study, found the directive speech acts found by researchers in the form of imperative form,introgative form, declarative form and directive speech act function in the Sampit state madrasaenvironment found by researchers, First, directive speech acts to save face in every social interaction,people people behave so that their facial desires are respected. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan wujudtindak tutur direktif, dan fungsi tindak tutur direktif dalam interaksi antara guru dan siswa di MadrasahAliyah Negeri Sampit. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Datadalam penelitian ini berupa data tuturan interaksi guru dan siswa diperoleh dari observasi, catatanlapangan, perekaman dan wawancara. Pada analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu (1)reduksi data, (2) penyajian data, dan (3) penyimpulan/verifikasi. Dari ketiga data diperoleh kesimpulanakhir dengan triangulasi dan pengecekan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan wujud tindak tuturdirektif yang ditemukan peneliti berupa wujud imperatif, wujud introgatif, wujud deklaratif dan fungsitindak tutur direktif di lingkungan Madrasah Negeri Sampit yang ditemukan peneliti, Pertama, tindaktutur direktif untuk menyelamatkan muka pada setiap interaksi sosial, orang-orang berprilaku agarkeinginan muka (face) mereka dihormati. Kedua, tindak tutur direktif untuk tindakan menghindarikonflik. This study used a descriptive research design with a qualitative approach. The datasource of this research comes from a collection of online mass media news that has been published incyberspace and a questionnaire that has been distributed by researchers to respondents who arewilling to participate. There are two forms of hegemony found, namely hegemony of behavior andhegemony of perception. Then, the forms of hegemony that are found affect the reception and responseof the community. Public reception is shown by their acceptance of news in online mass media, whilepublic response is indicated by changes in behavior and views on news related to the Covid-19pandemic. Penelitian inibertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk hegemoni berita media massa online tentang Covid-19,seperti apa resepsi dan respon masyarakat Banjarmasin serta bagaimana perubahan prilaku ataudampaknya terhadap masyarakat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancanganpenelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini berasal dari kumpulanberita media massa online yang telah terbit di dunia maya serta angket yang telah disebar oleh penelitikepada responden yang bersedia berpartisipasi. Terdapat dua bentuk hegemoni yang ditemukan, yaituhegemoni perilaku dan hegemoni persepsi. Kemudian, bentuk-bentuk hegemoni yang ditemukan inimempengaruhi resepsi dan respons masyarakat. Resepsi masyarakat ditunjukkan denganpenerimaannya terhadap berita di media massa online, sedangkan respons masyarakat ditunjukkandengan perubahan perilaku dan pandangan terhadap berita terkait pandemi Covid-19. This is based on why thedata collected and analyzed are in the form of words, phrases, clauses, orsentences that make up the story of Si Palui in Banjarmasin Post. The theoryused is the theory of semantic logic. The results of this study indicate the roleof micro and macro semantic logic in the story of Si Palui. The research used in this study is descriptive qualitativeresearch because the data produced are in the forms of words or expressions of pamaliwhich are interpreted through descriptions and explanations obtained from the research.The approach used in this study is cultural anthropology approach which focuses onhuman culture or the way of life in society. The object under study is pamali by focusingon the meaning, function, and structure of pamali in Dayak Meratus community. The dataare obtained by observing, interviewing, and documenting, then giving interpretations ordefinitions and processing them into some categories. Based on the result of the analysis,there are two pamalis in Dayak Meratus community: textual meaning and deepestmeaning. The functions of pamali include health, moral education, culture education, andreligious education function. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenispenelitian kualitatif deskriptif, sebab data yang dihasilkan adalah berupa kata-kata atauungkapan kalimat pamali yang diinterpretasikan melalui pendeskripsian dan pemaparanyang diperoleh dari penelitian. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatanAntropologi Budaya, yaitu memfokuskan perhatian pada kebudayaan manusia ataupuncara hidupnya dalam masyarakat. Objek yang diteliti adalah pamali dengan berfokus padamakna, fungsi, dan struktur pamali dalam masyarakat Dayak Meratus. Data-datadidapatkan dengan cara mengobservasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudianmemberikan interpretasi atau pemaknaan dan mengolahnya ke dalam beberapa kategori.Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, pamali dalam Masyarakat DayakMeratus terdapat dua buah, yaitu makna tekstual dan makna terdalam. Fungsi pamali diantaranya fungsi kesehatan, fungsi Pendidikan Moral, fungsi Pendidikan Budaya, danfungsi Pendidikan Religi. First, how the implicature of the conversation in theHotman Paris Show interactive dialogue will take shape. Second, what is the implicatureof the conversation in the Hotman Paris Show interactive dialogue. Third, what is theconventional implicature of the conversation in the Hotman Paris Show interactivedialogue. The basic theory used by researchers is the theory of speech acts from Searle,namely representative, commissive, directive, and expressive speech acts. The four speechacts as a reference for analyzing the form of conversational implicature, the purpose ofconversational implicature, and conventional implicature. This research is a qualitativedescriptive study. The data source of this research is the interactive dialogue video of theHorman Paris Show INEWS with sources from episodes in July-August 2019, while thedata in this study are speeches that are suspected of containing conversational implicaturein Hotman Paris Show INEWS interactive dialogue with sources from episodes in themonth July-August 2019. The data collection of this study used the method of note takingwith note technique. The instrument in this study was the researcher himself in the form ofa primary data collection tool. Data analysis is carried out in stages: (1) identifyingfindings data, (2) classifying or grouping research data based on conversationalimplicature, conversational implicative intent, and conventional implication, (3)interpreting or interpreting data based on conversational implicature, conversationalimplicature, and conventional implicators that have been classified, (4) describe theresults of data analysis. In accordance with the formulation of the problem above, theresults of this study are (1) the study found four forms of conversational implicature in theform of speech acts in the interactive dialogue Hotman Paris Show INEWS with speakersfrom episodes in July-August 2019, namely: 1) representative, 2) commissive, 3) directive,and 4) expressive. (2) the researcher found eight intentions of conversational implicaturein the form of speech acts, namely 1) stating, 2) explaining, 3) giving testimony, 4) urging,5) rejecting, 6) acknowledging, 7) insinuating, 8) telling. The purpose of this study is to describe the structure of the text, socialcognition, and dimensions used in the novel Pulang by Tere Liye when viewed from theanalysis of Teun A. Van Dijk's critical discourse analysis. This study uses the CriticalDiscourse Analysis approach developed by Teun A. Van Dijk and uses the descriptivequalitative method. The results obtained in the novel Pulang Tere Liye's text structure isdivided into several elements, namely, macrostructure, superstructure, and microstructure.The author's macro structure has the theme of betrayal. There are several stages in thesuperstructure, namely the stages of settlement, conflict arising, increasing conflict, climax,and resolution. Microstructure uses semantics, syntax, stylistic, and rhetoric. Semanticelements are divided into several parts, namely, background, detail and purpose. The settingof this novel are Sumatra, the Jungle Forest of Sumatra, Hong Kong, Tokyo Airport, theCapital Harbor. The details used by the author are more beneficial to him but some aredetrimental to him. The author's intent is stated explicitly and clearly so that the readerunderstands and easily understands the story. In syntax, it is divided into several parts,namely coherence, pronouns, and sentence forms. Coherence used is meaningful coherenceof cause and effect, emphasis, location or time, addition, inference, and conflict. Thepronouns used in this novel are the first singular pronouns aku (I), the first plural pronounkami and kita (we), the second singular pronoun, anda, kau and mu, (you), the second pluralpronoun kalian (all of you), the third singular pronoun ia and dia, and the third pluralpronoun mereka (they, them).The froms of sentences used by the writer are active andpassive sentences. The style of language used is the style of language anaphora, epanalepsis,asonance, simile, pleonasm, correction, aptronym, antithesis, sarcasm, alonym, erotesis, andasidenton. Rhetorical cases are divided into several parts, namely graphics; the author usesemphasis with words or sentences in italics. The metaphors used by the writer are dailyexpressions, proverbs, and proverbs. The expressions used referred to sad and happyexpressions. The social cognition is divided into several elements, namely knowledge,opinions and attitudes, and ideology. All activities and interpretations of research results are presented in the form ofdescriptions. This research utilizes an approarch of the sociology of literature. Startingfrom this approach, the researcher takes a picture or image of something linked to women,men, traditions, or even the modern world and others. In a literary work, the image mustbe adjusted to the development of the cultural community. The data in this study are words,sentences and discourse contained in the novel. The data source of this research is thenovel “Bandar” by Zaky Yamani, 299 pages. The data collection technique used is the notetaking technique. Data analysis is related to context (novel content) to discuss the image ofwomen. The results showed that there were three types of women’s images in the novelBandar by Zaky Yamani: (1) women’s image to words their role as individuals: namelywomen who were resfectful, wise, gentle, affectionate, caring, pious, firm, hardworkingand persistent, independent, anxious and worried, angry/ emotional, responsible, cheerful,strong and determined, love, hope, beautiful, and hurt; (2) Women’s image as theirdomestic roles: namely the women as wives who are educating, devoting, to husbands andparents, being loyal to partners, caring for the family, feeling sad and disappointed, beingfriends, and being obedient; and (3) Women’s image of their role as members of thecommunity, namely women who are conducting the renewal, providing entertainment toothers, having a forgiving spirit to others, having a spirit of helping the others, beingbrave, demanding justice, being social, being completed in the cultural traditions of forcedmarriage, oppressed, and giving resistance.Key words: women’s image, individuals, domestic, community, novelAbstrakCitra Perempuan dalam Novel “Bandar” Karya Zaky Yamani. The purpose of this study is to obtain a description of the altruistic behavior of the main character in Ahmad Tohari's Bekisar Merah novel. Specifically, the purpose of this study is to describe the altruistic behavior of the main character in the context of social and kinship norms. The analysis used as the basis for this research is literary psychology. This theory focuses on the textual approach, namely the literary psychology approach that addresses the psychological aspects of characters in literary works. This theory is used to analyze and describe the altruistic behavior of the main character in the novel Bekisar Merah. The results of this study indicate that altruistic behavior in the novel Bekisar Merah is represented in the figure of Lasi as the axis of storytelling. This altruistic behavior is evidenced by the actions of the Lasi character in helping other characters in a pure, sincere manner, without expecting anything in return (benefit) for himself. This behavior is manifested in the form of altruistic behavior in the context of social norms and in the context of kinship norms. Altruistic behavior of the main character in the context of social norms found only four aspects of motivation to help, namely: (1) the presence of a model, (2) the presence of other people, (3) helping people they like, and (4) the presence of a mood. The altruistic behavior of the main character in the context of kinship norms is found in three motivations to help, namely (1) aspects of relative protection (kin altruism), (2) biological altruism, and (3) aspects of sexual orientation. Teori ini menitikberatkan pada pendekatan tekstual, yaitu pendekatan psikologi sastra yang membahas aspek psikologi tokoh dalam karya sastra. Teori ini digunakan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan perilaku altruistik tokoh utama novel Bekisar Merah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perilaku altruistik dalam novel Bekisar Merah terwakilkan dalam sosok Lasi sebagai poros penceritaan.
