Covid-19 is a disease caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The development of Covid-19 cases, which can be seen in various ways, has attracted the attention of the mass media. Problems C ovid-19 is the wildi h almost all countries in the world, Indonesia is no exception. As of August 2020, more than one hundred thousand Indonesian citizens who have tested positive for Covid-19 have been confirmed. The way the news of Covid-19 affects the mental anxiety of Covid-19 sufferers and news readers. In this regard, the method of reporting on Covid-19, especially the positioning of Covid-19 sufferers in the news, needs to be investigated. The objectives of this study are (1) to produce an explanation of the positioning of Covid-19 sufferers in West Sumatra in news texts in online media ; (2) Produce an explanation about the depiction of Covid-19 sufferers in West Sumatra in the news in online media as the wrong people or as people who are given four i. The results of this study provide a significant contribution to the development of the theory of Critical Discourse Analysis. This research uses descriptive method . The data for this study are sentences containing positioning information for Covid-19 sufferers in news texts in online media in West Sumatra. The data sources for this research are news texts regarding the development of Covid-19 in West Sumatra from October to November 2020. The online news sites that are the source of this research data are Langgam.id and Padang Kita . Its role, in addition to being a decoration and as a sweetener, also has the task of sharpening and confirming meaning and shaping the tone and atmosphere into an effective and suggestive tone and atmosphere. This paper aims to explain the interpretation of the sound in the poem “Setitik Nur” by Hamid Jabbar contained in “Segerobak Sajak” in the SUPER HILANG anthology of the poetry collection. The sound elements that make up the lyrics of the poems are efony, kakafoni, alliteration, and assonance. The sound elements combine with each other to form the atmosphere in the poem. The combination of sound elements describes the atmosphere in the form of a happy and cheerful atmosphere, but then becomes gloomy, chaotic, unpleasant, and sad. This type of research is a qualitative research using descriptive method. The data in this study are written data in the form of words in sentences containing concrete nouns that experience amelioration in Indonesian. The data sources of this research are, novel Selena by Tere Liye and the novel Laskar Pelangi by Andrea Hirata. The method used in this data collection is the method of listening and introspection. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion of amelioration in Indonesian concrete nouns in the novel Selena by Tere Liye and the novel Laskar Pelangi by Andrea Hirata, 95 data were found. The results of the research in the novel Selena by Tere Liye and the novel Laskar Pelangi by Andrea Hirata are as follows. (1) Indonesian concrete nouns that experienced amelioration, namely, (a) basic concrete nouns found 86 data, (b) derived concrete nouns found 9 data; (2) The form of the use of concrete nouns that experience amelioration in sentences shows that the forms of concrete nouns that experience amelioration are mostly found in sentences found in Tere Liye's novel Selena and Andrea Hirata's Laskar Pelangi novel. The subject of this research is Fahri Hamzah. While the object is the principle of cooperation and the principle of courtesy. This research uses qualitative methods and is studied using descriptive methods. The data researcher used videodocumentation in TV shows with the conversational engagement technique. The instrument used in this study is a data card. There are three stages of data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, data analysis and conclusions. The results of the study indicate that there is a principle of cooperation and the principle of politeness in Fahri Hamzah's speech in a TV program, there are 91 data and data analysis. In the speech there are violations and violations in the application of the four maxims that exist in the principle of cooperation, namely the maxim of quantity violation 3 compliance 5, maxim of quality violation 7 compliance 9, maxim of relevance of violation 3 compliance 6, and maxim of implementation 10 compliance 7. , compliance and Violation of the principle of courtesy is also applied in Fahri Hamzah's speech. The knowledge is the accumulation of behavior patterns, historical, and beliefs that are oral and sacred, also passed down mystically to the next generation. Only Sikerei can orally convey the secret or knowledge about community or the truth of community beliefs, wihich is only mentioned to him, to his followers in community. Moreover, as in many mystic traditions, such as specialknowledgeisnotandcannotbeopenedto the disciples before certain mystical and ritual processed are fulfilled. Sikerei is a special person, he is naturally the central figure or authority in the traditional culture, the important figure of the ethnic, transmission and continuity of tradition, and the charisma and authority the position of Sikerei holds in the traditional world.Sikerei are believed as representative or liaison media between humans and ancestors of Mentawai peoples. The ancestors then transfer their knowledge to Sikerei through a communication system which is only understood by the Sikerei and occurs in possessed or surup. However, acculturation, modernization, and the spread of religion the existence, function and meaning of Sikerei in society to shift.
