Based on decisive parameters characterizing operation of DS under voltage level to output power control of the DGs, three independent evaluation factors are presented. Performance of the evaluating factors is in the paper tested by means of a simple radial LV network model with DGs distributed along the feeder, allowing modification of PQ(U) control strategy and of disponible power of the DGs parametrically. As a benefit from the performed extensive analysis, optimal PQ(U) control strategy is discussed and finally proposed.","PeriodicalId":117212,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Scientific Conference on Electric Power Engineering (EPE)","volume":"37 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123789833","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This phenomenon is described from the perspective of two mainly used configurations of connection of MV transformer windings. The analysis of how to detect the fault is drawn up from measurements in an MV as well as low voltage (LV) grid. Theoretical analysis is followed by a digital simulation for its verification and real measurements were also done in the grid. The use of smart meters is considered to be a reliable economical-technical approach in an open phase fault localization process.","PeriodicalId":117212,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Scientific Conference on Electric Power Engineering (EPE)","volume":"36 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127144017","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

One of the main factors of impact regarding the distribution net, is the progress in the e-mobility sector. Most accurate modelling of such network is by using real data from the consumers, mainly gathering data from the e-mobiles. Availability of such data in our research regions (mostly where e-mobility is expected to be growing) is extremely low. This is due to complexity of gathering such data on large scale. There's a need for accurate predictions of users behaviour in long term. This article is dealing with modelling the customer's behaviour based on the international statistics and its implementation into the probabilistic model itself.","PeriodicalId":117212,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Scientific Conference on Electric Power Engineering (EPE)","volume":"11 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"127338857","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Mentioned grid covers area of a small community usually connected to main grid, but temporarily disconnected from the grid due to some technical malfunctions in the main grid. The island operation should not cover complete energy demand in considered community, but it should be capable to power main crucial facilities in the community (hospitals, public buildings, traffic lights, street lighting, water stations, broadcasting systems, etc.). Specific sequential connection or disconnection to or from the island must be defined in dependency on the local power sources capacity and duration of the island operation. The main task is to discuss and define features of the local island, conditions of operation and definition of proper power sources and their cooperation. Complete research deals with different kinds of small local or distributed power sources, but this article focuses mainly on hydro power plants from the category small hydro.","PeriodicalId":117212,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Scientific Conference on Electric Power Engineering (EPE)","volume":"185 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"121041732","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Basis for this article was real model of blocks of flats in Frydek-Mistek. Software goniophotometer was originally checked in terms of accuracy for calculation direct and reflected part of the luminous flux [1]. In next step was creating of basic model formed from several objects including buildings and road lighting system realized by five luminaires [2]. Software upgrade allows possibility of inserting calculation grid in sphere shape. These points represented normal illuminance in direction to the middle of sphere and behave like an imagine luxmeter sensors. Aim of implementation this net is update simulation program for calculation of the luminous flux radiated to the upper hemisphere from artificial lighting systems as basis for next astronomic calculation which are deeply focused on night sky luminance description [3]. Using this model will possible to do models of the artificial light radiation of whole towns contains not only road light systems, but other artificial light sources too. Principle is to include radiation characteristics of these big units to LDT file as a one luminaire with information about luminous flux and shape of luminous intensity distribution. This LDT file could be used for next calculations which will evaluate influence of big light sources to night sky luminance.","PeriodicalId":117212,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Scientific Conference on Electric Power Engineering (EPE)","volume":"115 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"132607072","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

They are often situated in the field, far away from an electric power network. For this reason, their power supply is complicated. Alternative power sources like solar cells, thermoelectric generators, or stray current energy harvesting are sometime used. In case of cathodic protection relatively high power is required - from tens to hundreds of watts, so only a power network or (in some cases) solar cell is applicable. In case of electrical drainage, only power below 1W is required, so powering from alternative power sources may be used. Authors of this paper developed electric regulated drainage with several possibilities of powering, external power source (power network), battery, or energy from current/voltage between railway rails and underground pipeline, where drainage is connected. In this paper an energy harvesting system is described, which acquires energy from current flowing through drainage in forward direction, or from voltage on drainage in a reverse direction. Also laboratory and field testing results are given here. Furthermore, at the beginning of the paper is a basic explanation of electrical drainage principle.","PeriodicalId":117212,"journal":{"name":"2019 20th International Scientific Conference on Electric Power Engineering (EPE)","volume":"8 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"125296437","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
