It requires constant updating of their strategic plan, ensuring all internal competencies necessary for improving and adapting their teaching and learning processes are in place. This paper presents the design and evaluation of the PROF-XXI tool, a web-based dashboard designed to help HEIs make such transformation sustainable and support their Teaching and Learning Centres (TLCs) in decision making about teaching and learning strategies. The tool is based on the PROF-XXI competency framework, which offers a holistic perspective on the competencies that TLCs should develop to support deep and sustainable transformations. Through a structured interview carried out with 17 participants from 8 HEIs, this study evaluates the extent to which the proposed tool assists users with identifying the required competencies and monitoring their evolution. The results show the value of the tool to improve and monitor the institutions' innovative teaching and learning competencies, the most appropriate indicators for this purpose and suggestions on adaptations to the existing features of the tool.","PeriodicalId":111811,"journal":{"name":"2022 XVII Latin American Conference on Learning Technologies (LACLO)","volume":"9 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"129117928","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

In Colombia, evaluating the quality of the teaching-learning processes within the classroom is of great relevance, for which the Colombian Institute for the Evaluation of Education (for its acronym in Spanish ICFES) designed the Saber Tests to determine the degree of skills acquired by a student throughout their academic training. The purpose of this research is to calculate the added value of the training provided to students in the Systems Engineering program of the University of Nariño from the traceability of the results of the students who presented the Saber 11 test from year 2006 with those achieved in the Saber Pro test in the period 2013-2018. To do this, the study was guided by the CRISP-DM Methodology considering four components of the Saber Tests: Critical Reading, Quantitative Reasoning, Citizenship Competencies and English, and using the ICFES open databases as sources of information. As a result, it was possible to identify that the English Competence was the one that yielded the greatest added value and that in Citizen Competencies it presents deficiencies. With the completion of this study, a framework was generated to obtain added value, which will allow evaluating the degree of assertiveness of the pensum used and that allows continuous improvement in the academic processes of the Systems Engineering program of the University of Nariño.","PeriodicalId":111811,"journal":{"name":"2022 XVII Latin American Conference on Learning Technologies (LACLO)","volume":"19 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114958863","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Motor fine skills are extremely important for an individual's life. This is determinant for other stages of development, like learning how to keep things caught, how to write and all other everyday uses of fine movements. Without fine motor skills, everyday activities such as putting on keys, holding a pen and handling other small objects would not be possible. However, a series of intercurrences can happen to everyone, like accidents or some specific diseases, and this natural learning could be lost, leading to the need of rehabilitation and re-learning of such fine movements. Thus, there are many patients with accidental or genetic traumas who need attention for rehabilitation of fine motor skills. This study aims to propose serious games using touch screen mobile interfaces (such as cell phones and tablets) that can contribute to enablement and rehabilitation for fine motor skills","PeriodicalId":111811,"journal":{"name":"2022 XVII Latin American Conference on Learning Technologies (LACLO)","volume":"86 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-10-17","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"124825077","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The way the study was done was like a non-experimental investigation. A questionnaire was given to 235 university students who were chosen at random. Through structural equation modeling, exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were used to test the questionnaire's validity and reliability.
