The improvement of peel color to Salustiana and Lima Sorocaba oranges was obtained after six and seven days of ethephon trataments, respectively. Immersion time of 3 minutes presented the best degreening effect. With these treatments, it was possible to improve the visual quality of the fruits. Percentages of presence of each arthropod taxon on each tree among cultivars were compared and correlations between these percentages and the climatic factors temperature, relative humidity, and rainfall recorded on a daily basis, were calculated. Among the three citrus types, mandarins had the greatest presence of aphids; oranges had the greatest presence of whiteflies, leafminers and Diaphorina citri , and limes-lemons had the greatest presence of mites. Presence of mites, aphids, D. citri and leafminer were positively correlated to relative humidity. Among mandarin varieties aphids had higher percentage of presence on Oneco and Owari Satsuma and among orange varieties Pineapple had a higher presence of it than the other varieties in study. The impacts of this disease are related to plant defoliation, depreciation of fruit quality due to the presence of lesions, and reduction in production due to fruit drop. The general objective of this work was to address the incidence of citrus canker in the municipality of Tomboco, Province of Zaire, Angola, in addition to performing a diagnosis of the main impacts of citrus canker, as well as alternatives for living with the disease. Results obtained showed smaller variations over time for the data collected in plants with less than five years old. The experiments were carried out in duplicates, and the evaluation consisted of determining inhibition of mycelial growth compared to the control. Isolates of A. alternata with EC50 for azoxystrobin and pyraclostrobin greater than 5 or 0.5 µg mL -1 , respectively, were considered resistant. The resistance of all the isolates evaluated was verified.
