{"title":"説“餕”","authors":"洛旻 李","doi":"10.24112/sinohumanitas.352624","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24112/sinohumanitas.352624","url":null,"abstract":"LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in Chinese; abstract also in English. \u0000禮書所記食饌及祭祀之儀,有餕之禮,學者每以“食餘食”説解。然餕禮之實際性質、形式及意義,卻鮮有深入考察。餕禮貫穿食生人與食死人之禮,不但見諸平常燕食,並見於昏禮、接子禮、饗禮。同時,又是祭末大節,屬於重要儀軌。本文梳理不同場合的餕禮,並嘗試辨説相關記載的解讀問題,包括《禮記·内則》“子婦佐餕”應分佐食、餕餘二事;《禮記·祭統》“百官進”應指百官在堂下餕餘。經考證,各式餕禮的場所、形式、人數等具體内容得以釐清,並歸納十三項進行餕禮時的基本禮儀及原則。本文並考餕禮的多元意義。不同場合的餕禮,其側重點容有不同。日常餕禮由卑者進食,尊者餘食,確保尊者每次享用新鮮食物,具有尊尊之義。昏禮餕餘展現私親之義,以確立成婦。祭禮的餕則著重惠澤福祉的遞降,又兼示貴賤之道。祭後頒胙及致膰,則可視爲祭末餕餘在廟外的延伸。然餕禮之義,實乃歸本於孝養之道。透過卑者爲尊者侍食,尊者反報餘食的模式,展現養禮中孝養與福惠的升降互動。餕禮的尊卑上下交通,展示出奉侍與反饋的另一禮儀維度。至於餕禮的餘食,承載著恩惠和福祉,具有特殊的象徵意義。 \u0000The Chinese character jun 餕 refers to a ritual of eating and sacrificial ceremonies as recorded in traditional documents on rites. Scholars tend to gloss the ritual as “eating the leftovers.” The nature, forms, and significance of the ritual, however, have remained understudied. Jun is a common ritual that appears in ceremonies for both the living and deceased. The ritual is evident not only in daily etiquette, but also at wedding ceremonies, rituals for receiving a newborn, and the grand feasts. In addition, it is an essential part of sacrificial ceremonies. This article reconstructs the jun ritual in different settings in an attempt to clarify some misunderstandings of related written records, including the phrase zi fu zuo jun 子婦佐餕 in the “Neize” chapter of the Liji, which should be understood as two separate words: zuo (serving food) and jun (eating the leftovers). Also, the phrase baiguan jin 百官進 in the “Jitong” chapter of the Liji should mean the numerous officers eating the leftovers down the hall. Through the examination, we confirm the actual connotations of jun, such as its venue, forms, and number of participants; and summarize thirteen rules of the ritual. Another focus of this article is an investigation of the multiple significances of the ritual. Its usual practice is that the lower class eats the leftovers from the upper class (defined by status or by age), to make sure that the upper class can always be served a fresh meal. It carries the significance of respecting the noble and upper class. The jun ritual at wedding ceremonies shows the intimacy of the newly wedded couple and the harmony of their family. In a sacrificial ceremony, jun adheres to the rules of distributing meats according to the hierarchical order to let the god’s grace reach everyone in the temple, including the inferiors. This represents the distribution of grace from both the god and the ruler, also showing the hierarchy. The banzuo 頒 胙 and zhifan 致膰 after the ceremony can be seen as the extension of jun outside the temple. However, the core significance of jun is filial piety. That the superiors give back leftovers after they have been served by the inferiors illustrates a low-high filial interaction and blessing, a different dimension of reciprocity. {"title":"《大意尊聞》中的方東樹其人其思———以讀書觀和人生感悟爲例","authors":"威萱 何","doi":"10.24112/sinohumanitas.352629","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24112/sinohumanitas.352629","url":null,"abstract":"LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in Chinese; abstract also in English. \u0000談到清代的“漢宋之爭”,必然會提及方東樹(1772—1851)及其攻駁乾嘉漢學的名著《漢學商兑》。由於《漢學商兑》立場鮮明,不但被視爲清代宋學家的宣言,更成爲學者認識方東樹的主要材料。然而,這種研究徑路其實存在局限,因爲《漢學商兑》實爲一本具有特定目的且充滿攻擊性的學術專著,未必能反映方東樹其人其思之全貌。有鑒於此,本文將目光轉向方氏《大意尊聞》一書。《大意尊聞》雖是其晚年寫予子孫的家誡,但書中内容係與天下後學共勉,代表他對後輩的普遍期許;該書之性質也更像是省身録,較諸《漢學商兑》集中於學術交鋒的詞嚴義正,透露更多私密的觀念與情緒。藉由此書,一方面可認識方東樹與朱子(熹,1130—1200)有同有異的讀書法,同時也看到他的自我反思與人生感悟。這些方東樹學思與性格之面向,是無法透過《漢學商兑》識取的。 \u0000Fang Dongshu (1772-1851) and his Hanxue shangdui always play an important role in the discussion of the disputes between the Han School and Song School in the middle of the Qing Dynasty. Scholars have been relying mainly on this book in their study of the Song School and the image of Fang. However, this research approach and methodology may be problematic because of the distinctive motives behind the writing of Hanxue shangdui. It is a monograph full of antagonism intended to defend the value of the Song School against the Han School; therefore, it cannot reflect the entirety of Fang’s character and thought. To reverse the situation, I would like to focus on Fang’s other book, Dayi zunwen, which comprises family precepts for his grandchildren. Through this book, we can transparently realize Fang’s methods of study, as well as his personality defects by introspection. Despite the criticism, Wu continued to influence on the ci-poets in the 20th century, This article explores the beginning of Wu’s rising popularity by investigating important critics and poets who were active during the Daoguan era, namely Zhou Ji (1781-1839), Ge Zai (1786-1856), and Zhu Shou (1789-1840). {"title":"鏡裏花間———試論《花間集》的鏡書寫","authors":"文鈺 李","doi":"10.24112/sinohumanitas.352630","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24112/sinohumanitas.352630","url":null,"abstract":"LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in Chinese; abstract also in English. \u0000本文以先秦至唐五代銅鏡發展爲依據,考述《花間集》中鈿鏡、鸞鏡、有柄鏡、菱花鏡,以及鏡匣、鏡奩、鏡臺等週邊器物,對於向來不易確解的詞句提出具實物背景的解讀,從而使詞作脈絡、詞中場景獲得更爲清晰的梳理與呈現。以此爲基礎,透過鏡的文化與文學意涵,對照詩歌傳統中的鏡書寫,亦得以凸顯《花間集》中與鏡相關詞作的特殊表現與深層内藴。異於詩人的各言其志與寫實風格,對鏡感傷壯志消磨、紅顔易老,或描寫眼前如鏡晶瑩的水月風光,詞人隱身詞境之外,以如鏡之照影的手法,如“實”映現鏡花水月般未必真實存在的人事物,比如對鏡理妝或掩鏡無語的閨閣女子、虚擬遠隔的樂園與歷史場景等,而於精致如鏡的詞境中藴含深情妙理,在冷落中猶自好修、在困境中夢想飛越,以及樂園的探尋、殷鑑的徒勞、愛與美的救贖等,可謂於幻境中披露真實,於轉瞬消逝的時空中鏤刻永恒。 \u0000This paper studies a variety of Chinese bronze mirrors mentioned in the Huajian ji (Collection from Among the Flowers). These mirrors are of different designs, such as mirrors inlaid with mother-of-pearl, mirrors with carved legendary birds, mirrors with handles, mirrors with carved petal-shaped octofoils. The paper also discusses relevant peripheral items including mirror cases, mirror chests, and mirror stands. It will start with the development and history of bronze mirrors from the pre-Qin to Tang and Five dynasties. In this way, we can interpret those words that have always been vague and ambiguous by utilizing the background knowledge about the physical objects mentioned above. As a result, the backgrounds and contexts of the relevant works in the Huajian ji can be clearly sorted and presented. Next, by comparing the cultural and literary meaning of mirrors with the writing of mirrors in the poetic tradition, the special expression and inner connotation of Ci-poems related to mirrors in the Huajian ji can be highlighted. In traditional poetry, poets mostly describe a real situation, such as unfulfilled ambition and weakening willpower; sentimental feelings when facing a mirror and being saddened by diminishing beauty and youth; and the depiction of the mirage of untouchable flowers and moons reflected on the mirror. On the other hand, Ci poets of the Huajian ji use the method of mirroring to represent interactions involving mirrors to reflect people, objects and scenes that may not necessarily exist. They include, for example: a lady in the boudoir making up in front of the mirror or covering her mirror speechlessly; an illusory paradise or historical scenes; expressing their will to overcome obstacles, to cultivate themselves, to search for paradise and salvation of love and beauty; and also the disappointment of failing to learn from history. {"title":"從檢驗書看穴位詞的語義演變及相關問題","authors":"婉瑜 高","doi":"10.24112/sinohumanitas.352626","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24112/sinohumanitas.352626","url":null,"abstract":"LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in Chinese; abstract also in English. \u0000漢語史學界對穴位詞的所知甚少,限於談醫書中穴位名由來。每種文獻的語言風貌有别,反之,從語言可窺知文獻形成的脈絡與書寫態度。有鑑於此,本文在材料與對象上做新嘗試,將檢驗書與穴位做有意義的結合。首先,擴展穴位本體研究,從《洗冤集録》揀出多義穴位詞“肩井”、“肩髃”、“缺盆”、“頰車”、“髮際”、“曲鬢”、“太陽”、“太陽穴”、“鼻山根”、“印堂”、“腰眼”,觀其歷時發展,澄清注解之誤,辨明義位及語法搭配,推測語義演變方向與機制。接著轉换視角,站在檢驗書立場,歸納穴位分布傾向,反思檢驗記録的疑問,及後代的處理態度。本文發現檢驗書的穴位詞出現新義位。單義穴位詞用穴位義,多義穴位詞語義趨向一致,指體表或骨骼。根據書證及語義演變的系統性,筆者認爲穴位義出現在前,體表或骨骼義在後,促使語義變化的機制是轉喻。在滿足交際需求與詞彙空缺兩條件下,促使穴位轉喻出體表或骨骼義。檢驗書穴位的分布集中於臉部,其次是肩部,因爲臉部是驗屍的重點項目。檢驗書的急救法曾以體表定位,是重視實用的表現。基於《洗冤集録》權威地位及檢驗者素質,對此後代選擇原文照録,不另補正,透露了檢驗體系始終堅持實用的價值觀。 \u0000In Chinese language history, studies of the terms used for acupuncture points are scant, and they mostly focused on the origin of the names of acupuncture points found in medical books. As linguistic styles in literature vary, they yield hints to reconstruct the contexts and formation of a text, as well as the writing attitudes of its author. The present essay is a new attempt to deal with both the materials and subjects in an integrated study of the examination books and the names of acupuncture points. \u0000First, this study expands the ontological research of acupuncture points. From the Xiyuan jilu (Collected Cases of Injustice Rectified), it selects acupuncture point terms with multiple meanings for investigation, including Jianjing (Shaoyang gall bladder meridian of the foot), Jianyu (large intestine meridian of the hand), Quepen (Yangming stomach meridian of the foot), Jiache (Yangming stomach meridian of the foot), Faji (hair line), Qubin (Shaoyang gall bladder meridian of the foot), Taiyang, Taiyang point (temple), Bishangeng (bridge of nose), Yintang (ophryon), and Yaoyan (lumbar). We shall observe their evolution, clarify the errors found in notes, recognize semantic units and syntax combinations, and infer the semantic evolution direction and mechanism. Next, from the perspectives of the examination books, this study generalizes the distribution of acupuncture points and reflects upon the doubts of examination records and later generations’ attitudes towards relevant treatments. \u0000In this study we realize that some acupuncture point words in the examination books have new semantic units. The acupuncture point terms with a single meaning are so named according to the literal meaning of the acupuncture point. The semantic direction of acupuncture point terms with multiple meanings consistently refers to the bodys surface or bones. According to documentary evidence and the system of semantic evolution, the author argues that the meanings of acupuncture points appear before those of the bodys surface or bones; hence, the semantic change is a metonymy. {"title":"道咸時期嶺南詞壇之考察:以陳澧及其交遊爲中心","authors":"佳韻 余","doi":"10.24112/sinohumanitas.352632","DOIUrl":"https://doi.org/10.24112/sinohumanitas.352632","url":null,"abstract":"LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in Chinese; abstract also in English. \u0000嶺南向來被視爲化外之地,學術風氣不盛。十九世紀初期,阮元於廣州設置學海堂,帶來江南考據學文化的同時,亦促進了廣東文化認同意識的形成。 \u0000向來論及嶺南詞多著重晚清世變與常州詞學之關聯,而少見道咸詞壇討論。本文由陳澧現存的序跋題記與詞學交遊爲考察基點,試圖廓清道咸時期嶺南詞壇之概況。首先,由於此時期的嶺南詞人先世多源出江南,加之以阮元提倡江南學術的緣故,因而嶺南繼受江南傳統頗深。陳澧等文人論詞多以浙西爲宗的審美觀即源於此。其次,學海堂文人意圖通過文史考證追溯嶺南歷史至南漢,以表出嶺南文化的悠久性與特異性的意識,同樣展現於越臺詞社的集結與《粤東詞鈔》的成書。陳澧的詞學活動和交遊亦受益於此。陳澧兼具江南與嶺南兩種文化身分,通過考察其交遊活動,不僅有助於我們理解道咸時期嶺南詞壇的審美趨向,亦能看到嶺南詞人繼受江南文化的同時,試圖建構嶺南文化主體性之過程。 \u0000Lingnan has long been seen as an uncivilized region throughout Chinese history. In the early 19th century, Ruan Yuan (1764-1849) established the Xuehai tang in Guangzhou. He introduced the theory of evidential research from the Jiangnan region, and thereby consummated the formation of the Cantonese literati’s cultural identity. \u0000Previous research of Lingnan ci-poetry has laid more emphasis on its transitions in the late Qing dynasty than the Daoguang, Xianfeng, and Tongzhi reign-periods. This article focuses on the ci-poetry of Chen Li (1810-1882) and its peripherals to observe his social network and the development of Lingnan ci-poetry. First, it takes the perspective of cultural reception to observe that most of the Lingnan literati’s ancestors were immigrants from Jiangnan in the early to middle stages of the Qing dynasty; therefore, they succeeded not only the academic tradition of Jiangnan but also the cultural identity and literary aesthetics. This explains why Chen Li and his fellow literati took the aesthetics of the School of Western Zhejiang as an evaluation standard for ci-poetry. His work, Yanzi chunqiu zazhi (Miscellaneous Notes on the Yanzi Spring and Autumn Annals), has remained an essential reference for Chinese philologists and historians. While Yanzi chunqiu zazhi is comprehensive and meticulous in its analyses, a number of inaccuracies have also been found.
