讀王念孫《讀書雜志•晏子春秋》記

Abstract

LANGUAGE NOTE | Document text in Chinese; abstract also in English. 高郵王念孫（1744—1832）是清代樸學的代表人物，其於經學、子學、小學方面的成就，世罕其匹，《讀書雜志》、《廣雅疏證》等均爲登峰造極之作，後世學者，莫不奉爲圭臬。王氏地位崇高，就其學術而加探討，實饒具意義。今就《讀書雜志·晏子春秋》部分，檢視其中勝義，並就可議之處，略陳己見，以供斟酌。 Wang Niansun (1744-1832) was a distinguished Qing (1644-1912) scholar with tremendous achievements in the study of the Chinese classics and philology. His work, Yanzi chunqiu zazhi (Miscellaneous Notes on the Yanzi Spring and Autumn Annals), has remained an essential reference for Chinese philologists and historians. While Yanzi chunqiu zazhi is comprehensive and meticulous in its analyses, a number of inaccuracies have also been found. The present essay is intended to be a penetrating study of the successes and failures of Wang’s work.
