The issue of geolocating only one emitter is quite complex, but geolocating multiple emitters is complex even more. In current age of a ”smart” agile and moveable air defense systems is very hard or may be even impossible to assign bearing to one specific emitter, so better or easier practice would be collect such bearings for specific type of emitter and create multiple geolocations from those. For this kind of procedure is also necessary to design an algorithm that would be able to track possible movement of emitters.","PeriodicalId":107301,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Military Technologies (ICMT)","volume":"57 2 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123442319","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The main motivation is to find the promising themes in CS, CD, and CW for research and study, because it is a new orientation in the research project and a new study program at the University of Defence. The methodology of research is mentioned, contains two experiments. The used analytical SW is Tovek Tools (TT). The first experiment is oriented to CS, the second experiment to CD and CW. The promising themes for research include risk assessment methodology, application data mining methods in CS, early warning systems in CD, cyber weapons in CW, and using game theory in modelling of decision-making scenarios of CD and CW.","PeriodicalId":107301,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Military Technologies (ICMT)","volume":"44 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"128649512","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The authors, having provided a brief review of cases of partial deployment of the technology in air and missile defence (AMD) systems, argue that when implemented as a system solution IoT may enhance the capability of the whole system. The air and missile defence system has been analytically divided into four subsystems, and with the use of conceptual approach each of them has been examined in terms how it may be strengthened by the implementation of IoT solutions, and how the latter may translate into the enhancement of the entire AMD system.","PeriodicalId":107301,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Military Technologies (ICMT)","volume":"66 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"123491065","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the conventional techniques being used in this regard have several drawbacks, such as their dependence on user/device cooperation in a way or another, or on a specific HW/SW implementation in devices and/or networks. In this paper, we discuss a possible user/device-independent technique which is based on the radio interface signaling messages that result in user mobility data stored in the network. These data can also be used, to a certain extent, in obtaining information about user mobility. Although this technique, known as the Cell-ID location technique, does not provide a precise location, a careful analysis of these data, detecting the occurrence of the “cell oscillation” phenomenon in the mobility data, combined with a good knowledge of the coverage topology, can help detecting the status of the mobile station and improving the location accuracy. Additionally, this also allows the reduction of the mobility data to process.","PeriodicalId":107301,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Military Technologies (ICMT)","volume":"38 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"114619564","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Amateur or institutional precipitation stations were also utilized. The overall number of 41 stations was processed. Firstly, quality control of all the data was treated which reduced the number of stations to 31. Time series of precipitation totals during various intervals (5, 10, 60 minutes and 6, 24 hours) were used to demonstrate spatiotemporal variability and precipitation intensity. Results confirmed uneven distribution of summer half-year precipitation totals and the role of geographical distance on its spatial homogeneity. Moreover, the highest number of precipitation days occurred north-easterly from Brno. Single extreme precipitation events considerably affected spatial pattern. Finally, most of the stations could be successfully added to current network of the CHMI stations in order to gain finer resolution of precipitation data. It covers chromatic and polarization mode dispersion, including the ways of measuring. If chromatic and polarization mode dispersion needs to be compensated, various compensation methods are described which can more or less successfully eliminate dispersion in various situations.","PeriodicalId":107301,"journal":{"name":"2019 International Conference on Military Technologies (ICMT)","volume":"1 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2019-05-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"130257158","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
