When implementing the teaching of Compulsory 2 Information System and Society, front-line teachers often are struggled to the way how teach students well to develop of computational thinking. Through the combing of the eight levels of Gagne’s learning theory and the connotation of computational thinking, combined with the foothold of computational thinking training in the Compulsory 2 module, a “Four Stage Cumulative Learning” strategy for building a small information system is proposed. The training in the module provides an exploratory teaching design idea and implementation strategy.","PeriodicalId":93451,"journal":{"name":"International journal of learning and teaching","volume":"38 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"75484862","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

Based on the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) teaching concept, this paper considered and designed a teacher teaching evaluation system based on the data evidence of cloud teaching platform. The system can save all the teaching activities and documents of teachers before, during and after class as well as the learning results of students. The evaluator used the cloud platform teaching documents to evaluate the teaching quality of subject teachers. The subject teacher will receive the evaluation results and follow-up teaching reform suggestions in the teaching evaluation module, and adjust and optimize the follow-up lectures in time to continuously improve the teaching quality. Finally, this paper gave the strategies for Chinese universities to implement teacher teaching evaluation based on cloud teaching platform data evidence, in order to better promote the reform of teacher teaching evaluation in Chinese universities.","PeriodicalId":93451,"journal":{"name":"International journal of learning and teaching","volume":"2 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"76300114","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

This study is based on a research question about how much similarity the assessment variables of the two quality assurance institutions. Hence, this research aims to comparatively analyze the instrument of the two institutions, to figure out which standards or criteria are the focus of the assessment, as well as to analyze the follow-up for the assessment for further study. The data source used was the assessment criteria of the two institutions therefore the methodology was multi-layered research consisting of narrative content analysis followed by statistical analysis, final expert recommendation review, and expert interviews which produce a comparative description. One of clear findings of this study was that AQAS use top-down model hierarchically, starting from the university, faculty, or school, and then to the study program being assessed. Statistical analysis used was fuzzy classifications such as 0, 0.25, 0.50001, 0.75, and 1 which were interpreted as fully out, more out than in, neither fully in nor fully out, more than out, and fully in. The similarity of standards or assessment criteria between the two institutions was shown by PRI from the results of the analysis using the fs-QCA application which pointed out at 0.66667 or close to 67% exceeding 0.5 which was a significant level of inconsistency. The inconsistency value occurred because there are several differences in AQAS standards and assessment criteria at LAMDIK which are influenced by education policies in Indonesia such as the tri dharma policy of higher education that requires community service.","PeriodicalId":93451,"journal":{"name":"International journal of learning and teaching","volume":"29 1","pages":"0"},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"135494730","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The achievement of students’ environmental literacy in social participation should be a part of testing the effectiveness of the USR program. In this program three aspects such as the cognition, attitude of participatory learning, and the self-evaluated effectiveness of environmental literacy in questionnaire survey for students have been studied. A total of 145 questionnaires were collected to the high school students, university students and USR volunteers who participated in the four activities. Results show that students in the USR program for participatory learning presented environmental literacy in those three aspects as medium to high agreement in each activity. However, the performance of three aspects of overall environmental literacy is not related to gender or grade. Under the variable of the frequency of volunteers, there is a significant difference only in the aspect of effectiveness. It is inferred that the more frequency of volunteering, the better the effect. Those who have participated in environmental protection associations have better attitude and effectiveness, too. Students in the USR program had high significant and high correlations between personal characteristics, attitude, and effectiveness.","PeriodicalId":93451,"journal":{"name":"International journal of learning and teaching","volume":"88 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2023-01-01","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"88234549","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

However, the large amount of investment has not contributed to the promotion of the quality of vocational education. Moreover, the employment of vocational school students is facing serious challenges. The influence of factors such as backward technology, poor working conditions, and low welfare benefits in rural areas has led to the loss of a large number of talents after they have received vocational education, resulting in a serious lack of agricultural high-tech talents in rural areas. This paper uses research and analysis of questionnaires to study rural students in Chifeng on the issue of rural education, discusses the current employment situation of students in agricultural vocational schools, and analyzes the main motives of rural education values on students’ going to rural areas for employment. The results show that 1) the urban orientation, as well as the utilitarianism of rural education, is not significant; 2) the lack of rural content in rural education affects rural students’ future employment region choice, making rural students more inclined to employment in big cities; 3) the employment difficulty of rural students in the city causes the main influence on rural students’ future employment region choice.
