In the paper we are going to introduce a new approach that enables us to conceal the very existence of the message: The host digital media file will be unchanged, but a key which is based on a seed number will be communicated and generates a sequence of numbers that identifies bits in the host digital media file that contains the secret message. Therefore, no statistical artifacts that would aid anyone trying to crack the code are introduced. However, the limitation of capacity has led us to think about an improved approach which can be achieved through hardware implementation systems on a help of a programmable gate array (FPGA) board.","PeriodicalId":89615,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the ... As a case study we use a middleware application. Functional Classes is a design style that merges both object-oriented and functional programming paradigms. A functional class is a class without variables having pure functions as methods. As a result, a functional class is naturally a mediator. In this paper, as the main contribution, we show that Functional Classes lead to Java byte code that is re-compilable. Consequently, Functional Classes provide a promising basis for mixed design of applications, where the developers can work simultaneously on the project using a UML editor, source code editor, code generator, and optimizer. Then, synchronization between the various tools is achieved on-the-fly using only the byte- code representation.","PeriodicalId":89615,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the ... This is a challenge for the IS project manager, since business change and information systems development usually are performed as separate processes. Thus, there is a need to understand and manage the relationship between these two kinds of processes. To understand the interaction between information systems development and planned organizational change we introduce the concept of process interaction. We draw on a longitudinal case study of an IS development project that used an iterative and incremental development approach. The concept of process interaction enabled us to understand critical events in the case, in particular those that were important for the mutual adaptation between the information system and the organization. We conclude that process interaction is needed to facilitate socio-technical innovation in a situation where the organizational change process and the IS development process are parallel but incongruent. We also argue that iterative software engineering frameworks are well structured to support process interaction. Finally, we advocate that the IS project manager needs to manage the trade-off between necessary process interaction and the internal IS project schedule.","PeriodicalId":89615,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the ... Adaptation mechanisms are crucial to enable run-time reconfiguration and to improve system's performance. The practicality of achieving interoperability remains a challenge for rapidly process operational requirements allowing components to work together with others. It must maintain the behavior and data integrity, while improves the answer time. A common set of \";building codes\"; is proposed in this paper as a framework adopted for data interoperability among Real-Time System (RTS) components to replace gateways. It implements generic behavioral models for monitoring and controlling system composed of dynamic service servers, service invokers, a common protocol class, a component class, a message class, and a use case class. The target system might be adjusted to the framework, allowing the software components to have high degrees of cost-effective reuse. The framework was validated by building a control station prototype system, which controls UAV missions at run-time, while self-adapting service servers according to external events. The stakeholder requirements are monitored such that the software behavior can be verified at run-time.","PeriodicalId":89615,"journal":{"name":"Proceedings of the ...
