Objective: Research on the reliability, sensitivity and specificity of the abridged Vietnamese version of the Qi Blood Yin Yang Deficiency Pattern (QBYYDP) questionnaire on the elderly. Method: A descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted on 290 elderly who came for treatment at Thua Thien Hue Traditional Medicine Hospital. Result: The abridged Vietnamese version of the Qi Blood Yin Yang Deficiency Pattern (QBYYDP) questionnaire on the elderly consists of 27 questions (male: 26 questions and female: 27 questions) with Cronbach’s Alpha of 0.895 (male) and 0.871 (female), the sensitivities Qi deficiency region, Blood deficiency region, Yin deficiency region, and Yang deficiency region were: 62.50%, 66.67%, 44.12%, 37.5% (male), 63.04% (female), respectively; the specificity 95.9%, 50.89%, 76.95%, 69.49% (male) and 75.74% (female), respectively, the area under the ROC curve of the questionnaires were > 0.6. Conclusion: The abridged Vietnamese version of the Qi Blood Yin Yang Deficiency Pattern (QBYYDP) questionnaire on the elderly with high consistency and reliability assessed through Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient. The value of the Qi deficiency region has a high specificity and is distinguishable between two groups with diseased and non-diseased well. Although it is possible to take the Blood deficiency region, Yin deficiency region, and Yang deficiency region for clinical reference, the sensitivity and specificity are low, and the ability to distinguish the disease is moderate or poor. \u0000Key words: reliability, validity, questionnaire, Qi Blood Yin Yang deficiency pattern, the elderly.

Therefore, the prevention and treatment of this complication play an important role. The vasopressor recently suggested to prevent hypotension during spinal anesthesia has been noradrenaline. The aim of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and side effects of noradrenaline intravenous transfusion and bolus for prevention of spinal anesthesia-induced hypotension during cesarean delivery. Methods: In the randomized controlled study, 110 pregnants undergoing cesarean delivery with spinal anesthesia were randomly divided into two groups: Group T: noradrenaline transfusion at a dose of 0.05 μg/kg/min (n = 55), and group B: noradrenaline intravenous injection 6 μg (n = 55). Both groups were\u0000recorded the incidence of hypotension, levels of hypotension, maternal side effects and neonatal APGAR scores at 1 and 5 minutes. Results: Four parturients in group B were excluded from the study due to the failure of spinal anesthesia. Maternal hypotension and level of hypotension of 20 - 30% of baseline systolic blood tension were less frequent in group T than in group B. The level of hypotension above 30% of baseline systolic blood tension and maternal side effects in both groups were low and comparable. The neonatal APGAR scores at 1 minute and 5 minutes in both groups were ≥ 8 and ≥ 9 respectively… Conclusion: Noradrenaline prophylactic infusion at dose of 0.05 μg/kg/min was more effective than noradrenaline intravenous bolus of 6 μg for maintaining blood pressure and decreasing the incidence of hypotension, level of hypotension. Scientific research activities become one of the important tasks of lecturers in order to improve the quality of training with the goal of approaching students’ competence in scientific research. The nursing profession is initially interested in the issue of access to research capacity, so there are very few studies on this issue. Objectives: 1) To assess the research capacity of nursing students through the RCS-N scale; (2) To describe the groups of factors affecting the motivation of nursing students to do scientific research; (3) To identify the factors related to the scientific research capacity of nursing students. Methodology: A cross-sectional descriptive study with 317 third and fourth-year nursing students at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University from 06/2021 to 04/2022. Results: The group of students in the group familiar with scientific research (Knowing many/all/everything criteria about scientific research) accounted for the lowest percentage with 8.5%. The average score of the groups of factors affecting the motivation of scientific research with the group of student factors (21.19 ± 3.59); a group of lecturers factors (17.03 ± 4.01); a group of the policy of the University factors (15.92 ± 3.08); a group of facilities of the University factors (12.37 ± 2.75); a group of practice station factors (12.20 ± 2.70).\u0000There is a relationship between the mean score of the group of facilities of the University factors and the student’s research capacity score (p<0.05).
