For our body drug is also considered as a foreign particle hence it is difficult task to reach the drug into systemic circulation through the transdermal route without invasion. Now a day’s many novel formulations are present in the market which allows the transfer of drug through the transdermal route without invasion like liposomes, phytosomes, neosomes and ethosomes. But with the help of ethosome formulation it becomes very easy to transfer the drug into systemic circulation through the transdermal route. Large drug molecules can be delivered to site of action by ethosomes. Ethosomes are the bilayer lipid vesicles which allow the transfer of drug into the deep skin layers and into the blood. It contains large amount of ethanol and penetration enhancers are incorporated into it to enhance the rate of penetration. It contains the phospholipid bilayer with polar head and nonpolar tail. At the center ethanolic cavity is present which is filled with the hydroethanolic solution. We can incorporate all types of drug into the ethosome i.e., lipophilic, hydrophilic, and amphiphilic and this property makes it unique from other dosage forms. Further we can formulate cream, gel or patches of ethosomes. Cellutight EF, Nanominox, Noicellex, Supravir cream these are some examples of marketed ethosomal formulations. This review summarizes the types of ethosomes i.e., classical ethosomes, binary ethosomes and transethosomes. And also includes advantages, disadvantages, therapeutic applications, methods of preparation and characterization of the ethosomes.","PeriodicalId":8537,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Research","volume":"6 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74304451","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

It is considered a relative of Severe Acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS), The cause of COVID-19 is a beta coronavirus named SARS-CoV-2 that affects the lower respiratory tract and manifests as pneumonia in humans. The Asymptomatic carriers have become the current focus of global epidemic prevention and control efforts. These carriers of the virus display no clinical symptoms but are known to be contagious. As \"silent spreaders\", asymptomatic carriers warrant attention as a part of disease prevention and control. The comparable viral load in a group of asymptomatic carriers of COVID-19 was found to be higher than that of the symptomatic carriers. There are numerous micronutrients which are essential for immunocompetence, particularly Vitamin A, C, D, E, B, iron, selenium, and zinc. Immunonutrition refers to the modulation of the immune system through the modification of dietary nutrients. Vitamins A to E highlighted potentially beneficial roles in the fight against COVID-19 via antioxidant effects, immunomodulation, enhancing natural barriers, and local paracrine signaling. The present review provides a brief information on supplementation of Immunonutrients in form of vitamins which ultimately can act as prophylactic regimen for Asymptomatic carriers of SARS CoV-II virus.","PeriodicalId":8537,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Research","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"89870055","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The pathology of CVD is complex; multiple biological pathways have been involved. Biomarkers act as a measure of usual or pathogenic biological processes. They play a significant part in the definition, prognostication, and decision-making with respect to the treatment of cardiovascular events. Inthis article, we had summarized key biomarkers which are essential to predict CVDs. We had studied prevalence, pattern of expression of biomarkers (salivary, inflammatory, oxidative stress, chemokines, antioxidants, genetic, etc.), its measurable impact, benefits of early detection and its scope. A considerable number of deaths due to cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) can be attributed to tobacco smoking and it rises the precarious of deathfrom coronary heart disease and cerebrovascular diseases. Cytokines which is categorized into pro inflammatory and anti-inflammatory take part in as biomarkers in CHD, MI, HF. Troponin, growth differentiation factor-15(GDF-15), C-reactive protein, fibrinogen, uric acid diagnose MI and CAD. Matrix Metalloproteins, Cell Adhesion Molecules, Myeloperoxidase, Oxidative stress biomarkers, Incendiary biomarkers are useful to predict the risk of UA, MI, and HF. Increased Endothelin-1, Natriuretic peptides, copeptin, ST-2, Galectin-3, mid-regional-pro-adrenomedullin, catecholamines are used to prognosticate Heart failure. Modern technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Biosensor and high-speed data communication made it possible to collect the high-resolution data in real time. The high-resolution data can be analyzed with advance Machine Learning (ML) algorithms, it will not only help to discover the disease patterns but also an real-time and objective monitoring of bio-signals can help to discover the unknown patterns linked with CVD.","PeriodicalId":8537,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Research","volume":"70 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-08-12","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"80300218","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The two most common causes of oral ulceration are local trauma (e.g. rubbing from a sharp edge on a filling) and aphthous stomatitis (\"canker sores\"), a condition characterized by recurrent formation of oral ulcers for largely unknown reasons. Mouth ulcers often cause pain and discomfort, and may alter the person's choice of food while healing occurs. This review focusses on various herbal remedies for the treatment of mouth ulcer. Lozenges are solid preparations that contain one or more medicaments, usually in a flavoured, sweetened base, and are intended to dissolve or disintegrate slowly in the mouth or these are medicated candy intended to be dissolved slowly in the mouth to lubricate and sooth the irritated tissues of throat. Lozenges are one of the widely used dosage forms. The benefits of the medicated lozenges are they increase the retention time of the dosage form in oral cavity which increases bioavailability, reduces gastric irritation and bypasses first pass metabolism. Lozenges provide a palatable means of dosage form administration and enjoy its position in pharmaceutical market owing to its several advantages but it suffers from certain disadvantages too. This dosage form can be adopted for local as well as systemic therapy and a wide range of active ingredient can be incorporated in them lozenges or troches are experiencing a renewed popularity as a means of delivering many different drug products. Lozenges have various advantages and disadvantages. Different types of lozenges and their methods of preparation along with ingredients used in their preparation are discussed. Drug candidates which can be incorporated in lozenges include antiseptics, local aesthetics, antibiotics, antihistamines, antitussives, analgesics, decongestants and demulcents. The selection criteria for flavouring agents are mentioned, quality control tests of lozenges have been reviewed. The present review covers more or less all aspects associated with lozenges and also throws light on the development criteria of the lozenges dosage form.","PeriodicalId":8537,"journal":{"name":"Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Research","volume":"1 1","pages":""},"PeriodicalIF":0.0,"publicationDate":"2022-05-26","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"74097165","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":0,"RegionCategory":"","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
