Analysis of these dependences revealed absorption corresponding both to individual and correlated torsional vibrations, which initiate the relaxation dynamics. The temperature evolution of the IR spectra in the range of terahertz frequencies exhibits three universal behaviors, namely, the low-temperature regime corresponding to the anharmonicity of torsional vibrational motions, the high-temperature regime caused by the contribution of α relaxation (glass formation), and the intermediate stage related to the activation of the conformational mobility of chains due to the β transition. The results obtained are applicable to polymers with both hydrogen and van der Waals bonds between macromolecules.</p>","PeriodicalId":723,"journal":{"name":"Optics and Spectroscopy","volume":"130 12","pages":"605 - 611"},"PeriodicalIF":0.6,"publicationDate":"2023-03-11","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"4469961","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"物理与天体物理","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

An approach to the synthesis of such compounds under soft conditions without a complex procedure of purification with quantitative yield has been developed; it is an implementation of the click chemistry methods for synthesizing LC compounds. It is shown for compounds with biphenyl as a mesogenic fragment that the LC state is observed only when the number of biphenyls in one compound is 3 (i.e., the compounds are similar to polyesters with biphenyl as a mesogenic fragment, which exhibit LC behavior). The currently observed climate changes, which have an anthropogenic component, should be systematically counteracted. However, pronounced effects of preventing global warming by developing low-carbon economics and alternative energy sources can hardly be achieved soon. The positive feedback loop of carbon emission has already been started. More efficient and rapid results can be achieved by active geoengineering actions in the atmosphere. Artificial redistribution of heat fluxes of short-wavelength solar radiation by injection of fine reflective aerosols (for example, sulfate aerosols) into the stratosphere is a viable method of climate stabilization. We estimate the effect of aerosol-induced changes in the optical properties of the atmosphere on climate using mathematical models with different degrees of complexity. For this problem, we consider various scenarios depending on the set of parameters and initial conditions. In this work, we consider a conceptual model of formation of climate characteristics of a local ecosystem, the main predictor variable of which is the global mean near-surface air temperature. Using this model, we estimate the effect of artificial aerosol injections on the atmospheric optical properties, which change the solar radiation influx and the temperature regime of the climate system. Our conclusions do not contradict the results of previous investigations. The considered modeling including the estimation of the proposed approach efficiency is a tool for testing various scenarios of aerosol impact on climate. In the future, we intend to develop a model of the influence of climate control on the productivity of water systems and on rapid biological invasions.</p>","PeriodicalId":723,"journal":{"name":"Optics and Spectroscopy","volume":"130 9","pages":"540 - 548"},"PeriodicalIF":0.6,"publicationDate":"2023-01-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"4052201","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"物理与天体物理","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}

The considered pattern of reference marks is a cross. A method of detection of reference marks in the image by analyzing the surface curvature is described. An algorithm of recognition of reference marks based on the structural analysis of positions of singular points (local extrema of curvature) is proposed. Analysis is performed for selected pairs of singular points with specific length and angle of inclination. For selected pairs, parallel transfer parameters are calculated. If reference marks are present in the frame, these parameters are ordered along a straight line, which is a qualitative criterion of recognition of reference marks.</p>","PeriodicalId":723,"journal":{"name":"Optics and Spectroscopy","volume":"130 9","pages":"527 - 531"},"PeriodicalIF":0.6,"publicationDate":"2023-01-31","publicationTypes":"Journal Article","fieldsOfStudy":null,"isOpenAccess":false,"openAccessPdf":"","citationCount":null,"resultStr":null,"platform":"Semanticscholar","paperid":"5179261","PeriodicalName":null,"FirstCategoryId":null,"ListUrlMain":null,"RegionNum":4,"RegionCategory":"物理与天体物理","ArticlePicture":[],"TitleCN":null,"AbstractTextCN":null,"PMCID":"","EPubDate":null,"PubModel":null,"JCR":null,"JCRName":null,"Score":null,"Total":0}
