An MPCC method of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) based on the simultaneous optimization of voltage vector and duty cycle is proposed in this paper. In the proposed MPCC method, the duration of every active-vector is calculated based on the principle of deadbeat q-axis current control firstly. Then, both voltage vector and voltage vector duration are optimized simultaneously in the cost function. When the inverter is operated under the current-mode grid-connected power generation, the feed-forward control of grid voltage is employed, which can improve the dynamic performance of the inverter and suppress the current impacting to the grid. And when the inverter is in the voltage-mode stand-alone operation, the feed-forward control of off-grid voltage reference is adopted to reduce the switching delay and to restrain the impact of the electricity. With the synchronous switching of the mode switch and the selection switch to select the corresponding feed-forward, the switching of the inverter at any time in double operation modes can be easily realized. By using switch function rotation strategy among sub-modules as well as a switching allocation scheme between bridge arms to equalize the power and switching distribution, the method is developed. In addition, a voltage feedback-feedforward-based controller for IBDC converters is utilized to further ensure the dc-link voltages are balanced, in case of slight difference of series modules. By utilizing the proposed control method, the properties of the subject investigated including voltage and switching balance, low THD, unity power factor, and reduced switch frequency, are satisfactory. In this paper, an improved droop control strategy based on three-phase independent control is proposed. In this method, the independent droop control curve of each phase is formed by considering three-phase active power, reactive power and voltage respectively. The influence of unbalanced impedance parameters of energy storage system can be eliminated by fine-tuning each independent droop coefficient. The voltage and current imbalance can be solved by adjusting the secondary regulation value of each phase independently. A simulation model and experimental system are set up to verify the feasibility of the algorithm. In this paper, a control method based on virtual harmonic impedance is proposed. The virtual harmonic impedance is composed of virtual resistance and virtual inductance. It shows the characteristic of resistance and inductance in low frequency band and has good effect of harmonic suppression. It shows the resistance characteristics in high frequency band and suppresses the harmonic amplification. A improved LCL filter is designed based on virtual harmonic impedance control method. The improved method is LC resonance branch paralleled on damping branch and provides low resistance pathway for the harmonic current near carrier frequency. The filtering effect is strengthened and the method reduces power loss of the damping resistor. To solve the problem of neutral-point potential balance, neutral-point charge adjustment algorithm is introduced, which effectively suppress neutral point voltage drift. Energy storage system is of great value due to its quick and accurate response. Regulation service plays an important role in real-time balance. A novel regulation market bidding model is proposed in this paper, with quoted price, regulation performance taken into consideration. Unlike traditional clearing model, up-regulation capacity and down-regulation capacity are differentiated. The regulation performance indices, including accuracy, response time and ramp rate are used to modify the quoted price. Then the clearing model is formulated to minimize the regulation service cost with different regulation requirements satisfied. As for the payments, in reference to two-part payment, on one hand, all the selected regulation resources are paid for the reserve capacity, on the other hand, they can also be paid according to their actual effective power regulation. The numerical example demonstrates that clearing results vary as different regulation performance demands occur. When high quality regulation is needed, high quality resources like energy storage system are of great advantage. By using common coding schemes, which transform the DC MGs in some familiar communication channels, some important communication challenges can be addressed, such as random load variations and VSCs switching, as it do not need a separate communication channel. For this purpose, two multiple access strategies are analyzed and the method based on training sequences is presented in this paper. Experiments have been carried out on a MG of two parallel converters. In terms of the former Quasi-Z source inverter, direct sample and control method of DC-link peak voltage is discussed. The PWM modulation strategy of the shoot-through duty cycle with no zero state is also analyzed, and make the Quasi-Z source inverter achieve the voltage-boosted function. For the latter single-phase full-bridge inverter, repetitive control and proportional control are combined to control the voltage loop, the THD of output voltage under a nonlinear load may be improved and the inverter has good output voltage quality, in the meanwhile, the quick dynamic response of the system is increased.
