Abstract

In the traditional duty cycle model predictive current control (MPCC), there are still large current ripples because voltage vector and duty cycle is optimized separately, which cannot ensure the applied voltage vector is global optimization. An MPCC method of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) based on the simultaneous optimization of voltage vector and duty cycle is proposed in this paper. In the proposed MPCC method, the duration of every active-vector is calculated based on the principle of deadbeat q-axis current control firstly.
